Good morning! I have had a bad two days - not food wise but some ms symptoms have been rearing their ugly heads. But all seems to have settled down so this day is looking much brighter! I gained .5 pounds yesterday and it is still there today. Since I've been on plan, I'm expecting a whoosh soon!

Oh, I forgot to answer your question about when I'm getting my new do! I had hoped to make the appointment for next week but I have an all day seminar on Monday and Tuesday, a lunch meeting that lasts from noon till about 3 on Wednesday, a breakfast meeting Thursday and then an evening meeting (no food at that one!) And in-between all that I've got my regular work to keep up with. So, new hair will have to wait. I'm really looking forward to getting my hair done though. It always makes me feel great!

A parishioner has invited me to have a bit of vacation at her dad's beach house this summer. Ain't going to happen. I am very uncomfortable with the thought of being in a bathing suit among non family. But this is the last summer I will be in hiding!

No loss today but I am OK with that. Usually I get a bit down when the scale doesn't move. This time I just remind myself that if I let it get to me and cheat, it will move in the wrong direction. I have been doing that dance for way to long!

Can't blame you! I am dreading this summer. We have season tickets to six flags with a water park. It kills me to think about getting in a bathing suit in public.

I am coming back. It will be after the weekend because I know if I start now I just won't stick to it with my plans I have this weekend but I have been slowly cutting my sugar back all week so restarting won't be such a shock to my system haha

I went to vegas for 9 days and gained 10 pounds!

Also how are all Americans not huge? Your portion sizes are crazy! maybe its vegas because everything is big and fancy there but holy crap I oredered an xtra large drink 1 day and I think it may have been a whole litre good thing I got the iced tea but wow!

Well alot of Americans are huge.

But I know our restaurants are big on servings, but I've thought this through. I like it that way.

When I go I want the discipline to take half home and eat it later, rather than having small servings. I've noticed probably due to the economy alot of restaurants are giving us less these days

A lot of us are! When I go out I think most people I see are holding extra weight.
I do like my big portions. If and when I can contain myself. I like having the left overs. Pay for one meal but it lasts for two.
