CCGirl - Both of my sons have birthdays in February so there have been cupcakes floating around the house for weeks! The sad thing is, I think I have eaten more cupcakes than the kids this month. But they are all gone now because I ate the last of them yesterday. I'm over it, though....done thinking about it and moving on.

I did well today, all eggs, greek yogurt and meat. And lots of water. While I will still eat mainly from the QWL list, I have decided to allow cream in my coffee, coconut oil for cooking and the occasional teaspoon of cocoa powder to flavor my greek yogurt.

I'm feeing much better today. I want for my weight loss to be long term, so I am going to stop focusing on fast results and work on incorporating permanent healthy habits.

YAY Als, great mindset! You have so little to lose and are so close to goal, a few cupcakes won't have any long term effects. Every day is a new beginning!

Good morning everyone. May I join your Stillman's party?

Disclaimer: my stats are NOT accurate, but I refuse to change them until they are!! This morning I was 200.6. I'm starting Stillman's today and tomorrow I WILL be back under 200.

I've done every diet under the sun (really), most recently hHCG late last year where I lost approx 30 lbs. I've gained back 25. Time to get back on the stick. I've been avoiding the scale because I knew the news was bad, both in the fit of my clothes and the return of constant back pain. Bleh.

Stillman's appeals to me because mmmm, MEAT! When I had the occasional stall on HCG, my doctor would have me do 2 - 3 days of just lean protein to get things going again. It worked every time - I would lose a few pounds and start losing consistently again. So I know it works.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

-Heather

Welcome Heather.

I'm kind of new here too.

Had good results with Stillman many years ago, but could only stick with it for short periods (I think 10-14 days was my max). Working out how best to incorporate it into longer term results...currently mixing a few days a week of Stillman with more liberal fat/veggie days...liking it a lot. Travelling on business for a few weeks so I'm just trying to stay flexible and maintain what I've lost so far, but will be mixing in more Stillman days when I get back home.

Good luck on your journey!

CCGirl, I love this picture! So beautiful!

And I discovered the reason for gaining instead of losing...Aunt Flo showed up unexpectedly this morning! She came a a week early so I did not even think that she could be the cause of my gains and bloatedness. My weight typically fluctuates 4-7 lbs. during TOM. Now, I feel even better than I did yesterday! I never thought I would be so happy see Aunt Flow. Well, there was that time in college...

Becky - I have one flat foot. I wear an orthotic that really helps. My shoes are not very stylish often, but I don't care anymore! Being able to walk without my foot killing me is better than any style!

Desi WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

I followed some of the HCGers and it just seems too scary...you will love the simplicity of this lifestyle.

That seems to be the stumbling point with some, you can never go back to grain or carbs if you truly want maintenance free skinny! Bring on the meat!

whew, it's 7AM and I'm already beat......got up at 5 with DH to plow/shovel, clear the vehicles of snow........we've had about 8 or 9 inches and it's still coming down steady. I keep sweeping off the stairway and an hour later it's covered.
Only in times like these do you sat out loud 'Where the he// are all the brooms we used to have?'
