Hi gals! I'm just hanging for now. Had 3 perfect days (doing my "thing") but no binges so I call that success!!! I am so glad you guys are always so positive. . I would get sick of me popping in and out all the time. I guess the worst would be if I gave up all together. .

Got a wake up call when I weighed myself on the first. . Wowsers! Hubby did, as well. He went to the Doc and discovered he has gout! Very painful and I don't quite understand it but He is supposed to cut out certain meats, alcohol and other impurities??!! . . Either way, he got weighed and was quite shocked, as well. . It just goes to show, you must embrace a healthy lifestyle. you can't go back to old habits. .

ON that note, .I must be insane. . I keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting better results! Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

On another positive note: My stomach actually growled today. . I was quite intriqued and quite happy. . so happy that I wanted to call someone. problem is. no one would care!!! It was a great feeling. .haven't felt "hungry" in a long time. . Bored. .but not hungry. .

Happy meat dreams, peeps! I'll hang for a while as I love the positive vibes. .

Im2: Woool-Hooo! Love it when you pop IN! I totally understand what you mean about actually feeling a hunger growl and smiling. One guy I know said when his stomach growls he feels like it's a reminder that some fat is being burned up. I'm hanging on to that thought. I don't know much about gout either but I've heard it's painful. Poor guy.

GT: Post holiday blues. I've had 'em bad this year. Let's keep each other celebrating anyway. We have some small white Christmas lights in the living room that i have not taken down yet. I'm looking at them right now. Think I'll keep them for a while. I'm still keeping them lit all day.

Well, the treadmill is in the house! But it is not in the basement yet. We could have taken it down, but the woman who was helping me decided that I wouldn't be able to do it. I hate having those decisions made for me. She is my dd's mother in law. Tomorrow she and my son in law will come to take it down. My dd and I could do it. Grrrrrr. But tomorrow it will be set up! I am on plan - just finished dinner and soon will drink a cup of tea. Life is good!

Yes indeed. . life is grand! I survived a night out (dinner). . my 3 boys are all gone away to a youth convention with the church so only my baby (who is 9) is home with us tonight. . It has been 17 long years since we've only had one child at home. . strange. . He wanted to go out for dinner. . how could I say no? I ordered, within my plan range, and enjoyed the company. We are home watching a movie and even though he won't sit next to me on the couch, we are still sharing a moment! ( in my dreams!) but it feels nice. I think I will take him somewhere special tomorrow instead of sitting in front of my computer working my day away. .

Ahhhh. . 2012 is gonna be the best year yet. . I'll be 45. . I want to enjoy it rather than cry. . so. I'm counting on your support to reach my goal. . I have until april. . I can do this!!! (My other baby graduates this year and I have to be my best for those pictures!!)

Oh My! I'm acting like someone who had been on plan for weeks! I put together a shelf for the basement so I can get things sorted that I've just left down there. My treadmill is set up next to my total gym. I even did a few minutes on the treadmill. I'm getting ready to take down my Christmas tree. I usually keep it up until the Sunday after Epiphany, which is tomorrow, but since I have a bunch of things pulled out and scattered it makes more sense to put Christmas away while I tidy up! I may make a dash to TJ Maxx to get a bench I saw yesterday. I've been looking at them elsewhere and the price is right at TJ's! If I don't go out today, I'll get it tomorrow. I love the spirit of renewal!

Me too! Had the yummiest T-Bone steak last night. Just had my surimi & egg on romaine salad for lunch and I feel great.

Mim: I need to follow your lead this week and get in some serious exercise. I was lazy this past week.

GT, Becky and CC: I'm 57 years old with 5 grand kids. Am I the oldest one around here? I'm not getting older, I'm getting better and better!
