Good Moooooooorrrrrrrrnnnnnnning Everybody!!!

Hi I'm 2 & MMS!!! & CC and Mim & Becky and all lurkers and Meat lovers. Woo-Hoo!

I had an awesome protein day yesterday. Drank 80 ounces of water and I'm feelin' mighty fine. Is it the endorphins?

Sounds like we are all rarin' to go in January and git 'er done in 2012. I know I am!

DH and I have a trip to Florida coming up soon. I gotta try on several of my bathing suits and see which size fits and looks best! Yesterday I tried on some shorts and capris and am happy with how my old bod is lookin'. Numbers on the scale right now are not reflecting the number of inches I've lost.

No worries. It will catch up. As long as that fat is melting away, I'm good with it.

This board is loooooking good.... everyone's got a gr8 attitude. I am loving the vibe it's keeping me sooooo motivated. Gotta a question for u gals. How much does sodium affect the weight loss because i made a bunch of teriyaki chicken breasts today they were yummy. I used soy sauce but the one with low sodium.
Mim- what's a flavor pack? I would love to have anything to make tuna taste good.

Sodium makes me puffy but lots of water usually helps and I am back to normal in a day or so

That sounds like a plan Mim! I just can't do tuna right now...but when I did it I was having good results! There is a recipe for tuna muffins somewhere that sounded good...but I'm scared to start dabbling in recipes because of my control issues...

Once we are in the groove...things will be better!

Yesterday was a steak, water & coffee day for me...I'm going to try that for a few more days and see if I can get into the groove I was in last year. Hubby grilled 'em for me Tuesday and I froze enough to have about 4 days worth.

I just gotta get back down...

So for now I am off off salads, Questbars & cheese...but I am keeping the cream in my coffee for now...so I will not hurt anyone! " )

Nermo - I but the tuna sensations packs and mix one with a 5 oz can of tuna.

Mar! Such a sad face! Put your smiling face back up 'cause you are on plan and in control!

I woke up with a terrible headache. No, not carb withdrawal - yet. I think it must be weather related. Anyway, I've been quite busy this morning. I've got office hours this afternoon and then a meeting which starts at 7. I hope to find a bit of time later this afternoon to grab my treadmill out of storage. I'll check later!

Mar: You will be back where you want to be in no time!

Mim: Good thinking to dig out the treadmill. Hope your headache goes away!

I thawed out a package of surimi and am going to mix it with chopped eggs, put it on some romaine lettuce with a touch of EVOO and lots of ACV. I'm looking forward to that.

I have leftover turkey breast for the rest of the day and will probably simmer it in broth to moisten it up and then just munch away. Gotta brew up some green tea and I'm on my way......

I learned about it in Dukan's book and he says it's great for LC WOE. Basically it's ready to eat crab meat. You buy it in the frozen section of store and toss it in the fridge to thaw. Then eat it right out of the bag like a treat. The one I buy is made with a combination of crab meat mixed with pressed white meat fish. It has a yummy mild flavor. Some packages say "imitation crab meat" because they use some crab meat and lots of crab meat juice to flavor the mix of other white fish used. Supposedly very nutritious because it's prepared right on the boat when all the fishies come out of the water. yummie! I love it.
