Ammie, dark stix are misinterpreted as in 'deep' or 'deeper' ketosis, which there is no such thing. You're either in or out. If they are dark then you need hydration. Hidden salt in your eats mebbe???
Holy crap you're the hydration Queen, I abhor the stuff and usually when my mouth feels like camel poo do I start chugging, but of course by then it's too late ![]() LOL on your WOE BTW ![]() |

Perhaps it was the time of day I tested that gave me the darker color? Idk.
Hahaha. I have a big jug of water that holds 40 oz. I try to drink at least 3 of those a day. I usually have some of the fourth left over. I chug it and usually have my 120 gone by noon!! I'm motivated bc I don't want alot of drinking before bed since I weigh first thing in the morning. On my WOE, I like to switch LC plans to keep it interesting Seems to be working pretty well so far. |

Am, that sounds like a good plan. Typical Gemini, throw the dice to the wind and see what sticks........and maybe go with it. Or not.
Best to keep things light when they seem like they're at their darkest. Ugh, the Broncs are not doing well..........JC must have better things to do........hmmmmmmmmm, feed the starving, bless the Broncos......the starving win tonight. Patriots just scored again. I can see Tebows mom thumpin' her bible as we speak.......... |

O and someone pleeeze give me an attagirl for not buying yet another tasteless and unsatisfying avocado today..........they winked and smiled and gyrated supposed love and goodness but I politely declined.........veggie hoes anyway, peddle your unsucculent wares elsewhere........

Does anyone have any low carb taco seasoning recipes? The one I buy is low sodium but still has corn starch as a thickener but maybe I could just make my own sans cornstarch?

Mar - I love your smiling pictures! Much better than pouty face! : ) I made a taco seasoning a few times but can't remember where I got the recipe. A google search shouldyield you lots of good options.

OK today is supposed to be my first day back on stills in a while, I have a board meeting this afternoon and I know food will be served I hope they have meats and cheeses and Pickles and stuff because I know I can still lose eating those especially at the very beginning.
I have my cottage cheese, tuna, chicken, eggs and shrimp all stocked up as well as some cheese and cucumbers i want to eat instead of throw away but Cheese and cucumbers shouldn't kill me if I make sure to just allow myself 1 serving, that will be my challenge for the next couple days haha I NEED to have my coffee in the morning so what should I be using instead of cream? lactose free milk? I have seen some talk of that lately, or almond milk? I have lots of almond milk or just stick with my beloved cream? |

Heeeeeeeey Peeps!
It's Yummy-Yam from sunny Florida! Just back from a shopping trip and lots of walking. I read and caught up on all the posts. Would love, love, love to respond to each and every one, but pretty soon I gotta get fluffed up for a fancy-smancy social event. Actually, we have to attend 2 of them back to back this evening. There will will be tons of munchies and endless alcohol. I have plotted my course. I'm going to drink Barcadi rum and Sprite zero with lots of ice and a twist of lime. If I give in to any of the food, it's going to be protein! I did sooooooooo good at lunch. DH wanted to go to this FAB restaurant and he seemed a bit irritated with me because I was talking about whether or not I could find something figure friendly on the menu. He kept saying that I look great, I should ease up a bit on the weight loss stuff, after all I'm on vacation, yadda, yadda, yadda......wonk, wonk, wonk. I perked up, smiled said, OK! and then proceeded to order a Huge iced tea. Looked over the menu and took a long time before I figured out what I could get! Asked some questions of the waitress (guys hate it when we do that! but I settled on a grilled chicken sandwich. The sour dough roll (er I mean huge loaf of bread! it came in looked yummy but I asked Dh if he wanted it and he happily gobbled it up, no argument! Yay! )So, no cravings. All protein! Very dry chicken breast but Dukan says well done is better for LC WOE. Weight is still down today. Thank you to WW for making my wonderful travel scale! ![]()

Continuing....I brought a small soft sided cooler that fits into my carry on bag. Filled it with hard boiled eggs, FF greek yogurt and Deli turkey! The turkey came out of the freezer and was cold enough to keep the other things cold. So glad I did that. I had turkey breast and HB eggs on the plane. Our room turned out to have a fridge. Yippee. Yogurt and coffee for breakfast, chicken for lunch and if I can find some beef for dinner I will be a happy girl!
We got stuck in Washington D.C. yesterday so our arrival was 4 hours late. Long story. Airline nutheads made flight errors. 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. is a very long travel day. found out when we landed that the airline lost the luggage of almost every person on the flight. That was a bummer. Good for me that I packed my pjs, a tooth brush, deoderant and vitamins in my carry on. Bummer that I didn't think to add clean underwear! So, today I took a bath and could not bear to put yesterday's on. So, didn't wear any. ![]() ![]() Just this minute our luggage arrived. Whew!!! I did not want to go to this dressy event tonight in my airplane jeans, smelly t-shirt and no undies. ![]() ![]() I would have had to drink lots of rum to make me comfortable doing that!![]() |

I always pack clean undies in my carry on. I've had my luggage travel on its own too many times! Probably not enough rum in the world to make me go undieless!

I am munching on the last of my deer roast. There probably won't be anymore deer meat until the fall. I especially like this meat because the hunter butchers his own deer. I feel so self righteous when I eat organic!![]() |

Mom I have a deer roast in my crock
Pot now. And the hunter (aka my hubby) butchers our too. Lucky for us, we have a freezer full and it's still bow season here. Hoping for one more before its over. I, too, feel very "clean" eating this bc I know exactly where it came from and where it's been |
