Hello. I am new.....well not actually, but its a long story.....
I was on this board about 7 years ago. 7 years ago I did a cycling with Stillmans and Atkins. I did a great job! I lost a ton of weight (140 pounds). Long story short I got complacent, had my 6th child and now....welll.....have a lot of weight to lose.

I am now 7 years older (now 35) and I just find it harder to stay on the plan. I know it works - I just have to make myself stick to it.

I am hoping I can find a group of stillmaners to help keep me going.

We can do this together! You already know it works and in no time you will be right back in the grove.

Hi peeps! Glad to see people on plan!!
Yay Al us back!
Can't believe you've all your x-mas shopping done already Mim-go you!!
CC-snow and then Autumn temps?? I feel a nasty cold coming on!
Welcome Jeannie-as you say you know the plan works so good luck!!
Work has been just crazy. And my Mum who's taking early retirement in December is going to stay here with me for a few months!! Sooo my apartment here is waaay too small for any length of time, so I've been house hunting for her-somewhere small and really near. Found a gorgeous little place-2streets away--yay!! So that's kept me busy too! Diet wise--eh would say mostly on plan-but a few slices of bread have crept in. And apples-they're quick and give me energy--and I'm thinking that's because of their high sugar content-ha!! But honestly my cals are really low-I have breakfast-tuna or an egg white omelette--and then I'm literally working all day. I only get home sometimes at 11 and I'm too tired to eat, not even hungry. So I suppose that's good! I've been doing Insanity as often as I can--but nowhere near as I'd like. The only good thing it's teaching me is though, that I probably don't have to work out like a crazy girl every day to maintain. 4 times a week seems to be ok. My clothes are ever so slightly looser too-which is always good! Actually in strange places--like my work jackets are just looser--yet if I measure I've lost no inches. I haven't weighed in a long time!!
So i'm eating my omelette and am gonna work out, clean the bathroom, then meeting the girls for coffee. This is my first free day in ages! And the weather's gorgeous too-cold but with a bright piercing sun!
Only bad thing on my horizon---that annual chocolate festival is starting here on Tuesday---aaaaagh!!! They're putting up the tents already!!

GT - it is so good to hear from you! I was afraid that you would never get to post with your work schedule! It sounds like things are going great! How cool to have your Mum staying so close. Treasure the time!

Oh yeah he does!!! Told me the moment he really fell in love with me was when I rang him so excited that I had seen theee most gorgeous thing in my life ever!!! It was a pink Smeg fridge!! He said that if someone could talk so lovingly about a kitche appliance then life would always be fun!! Sooooo when we bought our apartment, and we got the keys, sitting right in the middle of our kitchen was my ever longed for pink Smeg fridge!!
I've told him we need a new story for the children--Daddy fell in love with Mommy, when Mommy fell in love with a fridge--does not sound romantic!!!!
I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid food mixer to match my fridge--to which my beloved always says--when you learn to cook I'll get you one!!!

Good morning! I am having a very slow morning- I woke up about about 2 am and was awake for around 3 hours. I finally fell back asleep and slept 'till 7:30. I don't know why - if it happens again I'm going to pick up some herbal sleep aids. "tis far too busy a time to be this tired! Anyway, happy Monday everyone!

O Mim do try some valerian root capsules, they are gentle and effective. Sounds like a rough night........but you'll probably sleep well tonight as a result, I hope

This month has been a stereotypical spiral downward. I have closed the door on it. What is done is done.

I started back on plan today and feel pretty good about it. I will not fail myself again. I have done it too many times.
I gained a good chunk of weight back but not all of it. I guess that is better than what I have done in the past.

I missed coming here and chatting with everyone here. I am looking forward to feeling and looking better.

We actually got our tree and outdoor light up early this year.(two days after Thanksgiving) Last year it was the second week of December.

Well it is day 2 and of course I feel like crap. I will tomorrow to. Day 3 I will feel great and I plan to keep that feeling no matter what. As much as I love eating carbs, it is not worth how I feel 2 minutes after I am done eating them. It is just not worth it.

YAY! on decorating AND kicking carbs to the curb!!!!!!!

I got a few wreaths up on the house and the Santa statue by the front door. Himself has not noticed yet......too tired, it looks like an early night for him.

I believe the original Rudolph is on tonight. Cannot miss Clarice! I have them on disc LOL.
