Good morning! 'Tis a wonderful morning! I am really enjoying this time I have all for myself! I miss my family but they are having a great time and so am I! After work today I'll finish up my shopping. Hopefully I can get all my work finished by tomorrow evening so I can have Thursday, Friday and Saturday off.

CC- I love sprouts too. The whole family does. We have them often but funny - I've never roasted them. They are part of our Christmas dinner too.

I'm off to hunt and gather breakfast. I heard it is lurking in my fridge - should be easy to catch! I'll check in later - have a wonderful day, everyone!

good morning all.......well, we'll be donning the insulated snow boots and shovels today. We got our eight inches of snow and it's winter wonderland outside. It's already 35F tho so it's not too bad, the snow is melting off of the roof and sliding to the ground already.

Ahhhhhh, 'tis beginning to look a lot like Christmas at CC's place! We have rain. Lots of rain.

I am so excited to make my Thanksgiving feast! I'm going to do the cranberry sauce and cauliflower "stuffing" sometime today. I have a small Turkey - big enough for leftovers and soup!

I have been buying Christmas presents as I see them this year. I knew what I wanted for the girls and have learned over the years that if I don't get them when I see them, they get hard to find. I ordered my granddaughter in Michigan's present and sent it to her daddy (my son) a few days ago. I got the last one in stock! So, today I'll make a trip to the storage shed and pull a few decorations out. I like to be decorated by or on the first Sunday of Advent, which is this Sunday! This is the best I've felt in such a long time! Did I mention that being on plan rocks?

O Mim you're in the groove! I'm ready for eggnog (SF homemade, of course, with FF half and half) Miracle on 34th Street, the parade, football, etc., too, and want to get a head start on the decorations as well.

DH is fretting about all the snow but we really don't have to go anywhere until Saturday so we'll deal with it when it blows over. It was raining for a spell but since has turned into big, fat half dollar sized flakes.

Must check out your cauliflower stuffing!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! I'm hanging on. . been a busy week . I am planning to plan tomorrow but no promises. . I am positive the rest of "us" will log in after tomorrow. . the guilt will set in. . I have my turkey ready to go. . my ham is thawing so I should be set. again, with the "no" promises. . I realize I am human and will, undoubtedly, try some not so friendly stuff. . but ..life is short. . and tomorrow. . I will try again!! Hugs!!

I forget how much I like cranberries. I'm going to buy a few bags to freeze. Again, not for everyday low carb, but I've gotta say, after my main meal and my snacking on leftovers, I don't even want anything sweet - even something low carb sweet. Eating such fine food when I'm feeling "weak" or when it is a special day is definitely the way to go!

It's quiet here at the ranch, DH went to bed early not feeling well. Sore from being beaten up in the plow truck I suspect. So chatted up a storm on the phone with Mum and watched the Gaga and Macy's parade specials.

Good Saturday morning! Yesterday I worked on putting together the grandgirls's Christmas present - a playmobil house. I still have work to do on it, but I'll finish it quickly sometime this week. Did I mention that being on plan makes life so much easier? My outlook is great! I haven't weighed in a long time. I'm not going to. Take that you rotten scale!
