Only down .2 today but I really didn't eat well at all fir some reason I have the hardest time starting to eat healthy on Sundays.

Back on plan today, I slept in late this morning so I just had breakfast of 2 eggs with coffee and I used the last of my cream looks like this is gonna be a black coffee chicken, fish and eggs week, seeing that's all I have in my cupboards and freezer haha

Does any one have any good food recipes I am tired of plain tuna and fish cakes I need something new and I have lots of fish I need to use up

a pinch of nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon? I'm sure that's the stronger flavors there, most commercial pumkin isn't really pumpkin at all, they sub other squashes...........

Ooooh love them all grilled, or for the grill impaired (I don;t have one, just a grill pan) pan seared!

tilapia is tough because the filets are usually thin

they take well to marinades, lemon, dill, etc..........

outta gas, will check back in the AM

Guess I'll start posting my daily menu so I can begin to figure out why I am not losing.

B- 4 strips turkey bacon (not a usual bfast. Just wanted to get rid of the pack)
L- 4oz boiled chicken breast w/mustard
D- 4oz salmon with 2 eggs

Exercise consisted of running around campus most of the day. I'll try to get some formal exercise in tomorrow.

What are you drinking? How much sleep do you get? How much are you using of the allowed condiments? Do you drink alcohol?

These are things that stall me so I'm trying to get a better idea so I can help.

I wouldn't really worry about exercise just yet but thats me ....some ppl swear by it for weight loss and although I know it helps I still think diet is 80% of what helps you lose

I drink 64oz of crystal light- zero carb, per day. I go to bed at 10pm-wake at 6am. I use at least 2 TB of mustard and sometimes a tsp of sugar free ketchup. I have cut out added salt. I never drink alcohol. i use Pam spray to cook with.

analyze me =D

I forgot! I use Tabasco a lot. Maybe 2 TB/day or more.

MrB! You NEED more water! I would aim for a gallon+ a day. A gallon a day washes the fat away! Everything else looks pretty legit to me!

i think one of the reasons you're not losing as fast on QWL is because you've basically done it before for a year-i know, with the shakes but still, and you lost 100lbs doing that So this time around there's no shock value for your body-it sees it coming! Atkins talks about the 'golden shot' with low carb--I don't believe it to be 100% true at all, but I do think there is some truth to it. It becomes a little harder everytime you restart.i'm soorry your struggling. But keep hanging in there-it will work. And honestly you'll drive yourself crazy weighing everyday--and I dunno--but if you don't see the results you want, will you become disheartened and give up?

The only ways I know of to break a stall are to up the fat for a couple of days or up the exercise. I always choose the exercise.
From losing the weight on such low cals your metabolism is probably not as good as it should be so exercise with help with that-it will change your fat to muscle ratio.
The other thing that Atkins reccommends for a true stall-by which I think he means 6 weeks with no scale or inch loss-is the fat fast. It's pretty gross but he says it helps really metabolic resistant people.
Other than that I got nothin!! Your menu looks fine. Well the turkey bacon has sodium but......

Ok does anyone else find that their iPhone battery is craaaaaaap. No really! It's getting worse. I only got it in June. I charged it last night because it had 7% or something. Took it off at 8 o clock-it had 100%. it's 10:45 now----and it has 95%!!!!!!!!!!! i haven't used it at all-no txts, no calling, no net, nothing!! I've done all the things to preserve battery, like turning of mail, alerts, etc.
Is this normal??? I don't think I've ever had a phone that had this bad a battery--or at least when it did it was old!!
The iPad has got awful too. In the beginning it was good!

Good morning! It's 5:18am here and I just can't sleep. I have been dreaming of the house we're trying to purchase but most of all, been having nightmares about the math I just don't understand.

Dump my CL? That will be hard...maybe I can dilute it reallllllly watery, just a touch of flavor

I am so exhausted everyday, my schedule and kids keep me busy, that by 10 pm both hubby and i are knocked out.

So this morning the scale finally moved in the right direction. Just down to 217.6 but it's something. And what you said about my body being used to this type of eating therefore not responding as well really makes sense. I have thought the same thing.

Try ground turkey also. Or tuna mixed with some hard boiled eggs or mustard is yummy too! Get creative with spices & seasonings....it can make or break this diet!! (well at least for me )

The main dairy I get is cream in my coffee...I enjoy it so much. I lost well while I had it...but I wonder if I could get in the groove better if I gave it up??? I dunnoo...

My "regularity" improved a bunch when I started taking magnesium citrate capsules...but it seemed that my weight loss slowed. i can't say that's why...it may be just that my eating got sloppy.

I do remember when I was strictly steak only...I would "go" about every 3 or 4 days, but I never felt miserable...or bloated. Maybe I need to go back to that for a while...

Poop discussion is ok here!!

That's weird. Only time I had battery issues was when I had a app running in the background that I didn't know of. Wifi drains it a bit quicker but not that bad.

Oh, check push notifications. I heard that drains a battery pretty quick if a lot of apps are turned of for push.

I would say drop the SF stuff beacuse some ppl don't lose well with sugar free thats the only thing I see that could be stalling you.

I drink about 3-4 litres of water a day, I am not sure how many ounces that is.

Been a bit quiet lately. My nerves are shot. I am tired and drained all the time.
I know it is lack of a normal night sleep. I can not wait till this puppy is old enough not to need night time outings.

I have OCD and when my ducks are not in a row I freak out a bit both mentally and physically.

On the plus side. I have lost almost 2 pounds since Saturday.

I have been on stillmans for about 6 weeks and have finally hit 20 pounds lost.
In that 6 weeks I have only been off 2 times for a day each. I have to say that I am really happy with that number. I could not have done that on a 1200 cal diet.
Now I am going to go crawl to the couch and take a nap.

Have a great day you guys. Resists all urges and stay on track. It is so worth it in the end.
