I've always done exercise on Stills! Dunno!!! I think my body is really really used to low cals-I never get the 'depletion' that people talk about!! Maybe I'm just stubborn! I don't know if I lose faster, but I really think I lose/lost 'better' with it.
My story is all over old Stillman's threads! LOL!! I reckon people are bored at this stage!
Short story--started Nov 2008 eating protein and a small salad every day(at the time I thought it was low fat Atkins!), got to about 200 around March/April and stalled so dropped the veg. Did pure QWL for months, lost 100lbs in a year-almost to the day-and have basically continued ever since-mostly with some salad.Exercised from day1 with Pilates and low impact aerobics-then did lots of bike riding--and since January I've done HIIT, Callanetics and Bar Method. Went from a US20 to a 2---------4 in skinny jeans That's it in a nutshell!

The beef jerky I eat is yummy! You can get all different kinds. The one I had today was very ow in fa and high in protein. It is salty so you have to watch it, but a great snack to hold you over!!

First day under my belt went great! Protein shakes during the day, then a tuna/hb egg mixture for my dinner....it was perfect. Tomorrow as I travel, it will be protein shakes on the plane!

Mar - so sorry about the parvo That is soooo scary. Praying the other pups haven't gotten it. Keep us posted!

Mar - sorry about the puppy! Please keep us updated.

GT - thanks for sharing your story. Amazing!!

So today the scale stayed steady. Hoping tomorrow will be another loss. The good news is that my appetite (starting day 6 today) is completely GONE. I have extreme ketosis breath - even after brushing it's just as strong. Love this WOE.

It is days like today that give me the mental strength to keep eating the chicken I have come to loath.

I lost another 1.8 pounds. Today I put my belt on and it is in a new hole. Physical proof that I am getting smaller.

I hope everyone has a great day today!

Hello!

I was posting on the other Sept. thread but thought I would say hello over here, too!

I have had a couple "false starts" on Stillmans before but this time, I'm hunkering down and just DOING IT! No more excuses. I'm committing (at minimum) to follow Stillmans during the 30 days of September.

Ultimately, I'm looking to lose about 30 pounds. Or 2-3 sizes. Whichever comes first. But my short-term September goal is to lose 10 pounds.

My first day consisted of:
B- scambled eggs + coffee
L- chicken breasts grilled on Foreman w/ l 1 TB lite Soy sauce + dried rosemeary. Yummy.
S - bag of tuna
D- "White Roughy" fish on the grill.

Tons of water + green tea.

Day 2 today is:

B- Iced Americano w/ just a splash of milk and splenda
L- Leftover Chix breast
D - Extra-lean beef
S- more tuna

I'm doing lots of supplements too. I do a multi, Biotin, Vitamin D, fish oil, "Very green" from Trader Joes, a Sugar-free "Emergen-C" packet 1x per day. And I have this sugar free powder to take at night called "natural calm" that is calcium + magnesium. It really does help me to "relax" at night----plus the magnesium helps to keep things "moving" along, if you know what I mean! LOL I got hooked on it when I did the hcg (500 cals per day). As long as I took that every night, I never had any GI issues.

Have a great day, ladies!!!!

Leigh- That "natural calm" stuff is awesome- REALLY helps in the BM department. I actually have a giant canister of it that I ordered from a little raw-vegan website a couple years ago, and though raw-vegan treated my lil bod like poop I do like the cal-mag drink. Thanks for reminding me about it; I think I'm gonna go take some!

My friend who did hcg with me had serious constipation issues and had to resort to all sorts of icky laxatives. I'm like, girl---Natural Calm is where it's AT!

So far the other 5 puppies are doing great! I just hope it keeps up I know if they make it 10 days they are in the clear and then they won't need to be quarantined in my spare room anymore either, poor babies can't even go out and play

Back on track today after my ice cream and chips  I up up a pound (stupid chips!) but I know it will be gone by tomorrow ... yay stills! Its funny sometimes I can have a huge binge and be fine and other times 1 thing makes it go up a pound I would much rather have the weight go up a bit actually cuz its a good kick in the butt, if it stays the same after a binge I think I can keep doing it haha. It is nice for maintenance though to know I can have one treat and it won't kill me or my waistline!
