Confession: I'm not doing total meat yet. . and I may or may not go that route. . but I gotta do what works for me. My plan is to stick to my plan!!! I am, however, doing no processed foods.. very low carb (as in only veggies) and I am counting my WW points so I don't go over. . I'm back to the calories in/calories out. I overeat even when I'm doing Stillmans. . I tend to over do the burger. and pork. . and chicken. Anyway. .I'm not going to obsess about it. .just gonna try it and see if it works!! It has too. .this is my last ditch effort.. My boys graduates in June.. I have to be ready!!!

I do sometimes... It has never caused me to stall. I don't have a lot of salt in my diet generally. I like ham and fried eggs (1 cal spray).

Regarding protein shakes - I would rather chew my calories too....makes me feel satiated! Plus, eating food is way more metabolicaly stimulating than drinking it....so, in short, chewing food (especially protein) = increased metabolism = more fat loss!

Homemade wedges and chilli burgers with salad for the fam..I'll just have the burger, no bun of course. A little higher in fat I know but that's OK.

Welcome back Mim and Im2-I agree with Makeme--how did you do a shake diet for 6months---with that willpower, Stills should be a breeze!!
Those OAP texts were hilarious!!
On CC's posts----no we don't need carbs to survive-they really are the enemy--nothing good can come by eating them. To whomever said that they need oatmeal to give them energy---I think Aloha(Lindsey)--I know you're job means you have to workout hard--but you don't need the oats etc for energy. If you think they are giving you energy or you need to eat them because your blood sugar is low--it's just psychological. I know that might sound harsh but it's true. I've been there!!! They might give you a burst of energy after you eat them but that is only because your insulin has spiked--and later it will come crashing down and the cycle will start again.The reason you're feeling tired is because your calories are too low-period. I've been doing a lot of reading about lc/hf diets( I'm not as good as CC posting the links!) and there is nothing new in lc diets. The research dates back to the 1700s. Carbrohydrates really are the enemy!!! For your health and your figure!!
You can eat oats once in a while if you like them-( I do, I find them real 'comfort' food)-you'll burn them off when working out--but you don't 'need' them.
I've stopped trying to tell people this cos it just sounds like we're in some sort of a cult!!
I absolutely adore the new smiley that is actually throwing a 'wobbly' -having a tantrum! I forgot who posted it!! It might actually have knocked Frownie off my number one spot!!

Me too!!! I think with the diet coke and cigarette diet and no working out you could lose muscle!!!! Hmmmmm!!
