After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, "Forty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23-year-old girl.

Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home, a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems.

I'm crashing this party over here guys!! I'm doing the "sexy september" thread with emalily, and wanted to post over here too for additional support & motivation...and cause I think you guys are the bees knees so wanted to get to know some of you. Today is my "day one". and I am doing protein shakes with just protein powder & water, to just kinda cleanse a bit. I've been hoarding in my stomach the past few weeks & it's time to get it out! I leave for a girls getaway in Austin tomorrow, so I am going to do Atkins induction-ish while I'm there. Come monday, there will be no more getaways....or excuses!

Parvo is such horrible stuff. I had a puppy die of that many years ago. It was heart wrenching.

Enjoy your girls get away! I know it is hard staying on when you aren't in your element. I learned that for the millionth time last weekend. Now I have 2 months of nothing to do but lose weight.

I learned something today... salad makes me cheat not sure why? I can eat veggies but I had a salad last night and then I had ice cream at lunch today as long as it stops at just one treat I'm ok with it, but one treat usually turns into a week of treats so I have tobe careful. I would liove to be 135 by my bday! I know this ice cream will stall me a day and then I should be back to losing and no more salad! if I am dying for green I'll have some cucumbers or something they are usually pretty safe!

Ran out of tuna and eggs today at work... still starving... so I got a .9 oz. package of beef jerky from the vending machine... $1.25 for like 2 pieces! Ugh... but it was the only thing "on plan"! I also got a coffee with SF caramel syrup and 1 serving of H&H.

Still hungry...

Gonna have to have a big dinner of chicken and shrimp!!

I am super thankful its only a puppy disease and my 2 dogs won't catch it (yes I have 7 dogs in my house right now haha). In my depression after having to put down a pup I had a salad and come yogurt, off plan, but not really a bad cheat I guess. The thing that really bummed me out was that now I can't take in puppies for the next 6 months I can still take in dogs but there is always the riskof them not getting along with my 2

Anyways enough of the sad!

Happy September guys! official countdown to my Bday starts today!!! 22 days! and then I will be old and it will be less exciting haha but I hope to stay on plan until then.
Oh, so sad.

Thanks for the lovely welcome guys; today (day 1 of 30) has gone well thus far; started with a 3 mile walk at 5am, breakfast tuna (210 cals), lunch tuna, and sippin' lots and lots of water (hopefully the 80 oz at least) in class all day. I eat dinner around 5, and that will be another tuna. Seriously, I have probably 500 packs of tuna in a storage bin in my pantry; my parents think I'm a nut case hehe. I guess I am for trying to lose 23 pounds in 30 days, but I swear to you all, it's going to happen; but it will only happen that way on Stillman's. When I've done vegan/organic, very low calorie, I lose the horrible 1-2 pounds per week that doesn't motivate me AT ALL. So this stuff is fantastic; I would eat tuna for a year if I could lose 1-2 pounds a DAY like I do now. It was hard to come home from class though and face not snacking on whatever's around; I just have to get past about 10 days to when I feel good wearing my pretty clothes again and then dolling up and feelin' sexy can replace the good feeling I get from snackage .
