Please read my auctions terms before you jump in. It only takes an hour or two.

1. Do not bid if you think one or both of your grandparents may pass away around the end of the auction. There’s been a staggering rise in deaths of Grandpa when the winning bid is over $200, which has led me to conclude that no one is really dying. If your loved one is really sick, please do not bid and spare yourself the sarcastic emails I will send, chiding you for pretending to be at a funeral.
‘Forgetting’ to pay is also a bummer. Unfortunately, I will remember and make sure you get a nonpaying buyer strike and suffer public humiliation.
In short: whatever your excuses, you still have to pay.

2. Do not bid if you do not have regular access to your email account. By ‘regular,’ I mean every day. If I can’t reach you and I spend two weeks emailing into the void, I will call you names in your feedback. And please don’t bid if you’re leaving on vacation and can’t be reached on the beach. The wheels of commerce must turn!

3. NO LOCAL PICKUP means you cannot ‘swing by’ or ‘stop over’ or any of the hook-ups people have suggested. Please think, as my ex-boyfriend did, that I live on another planet.

4. Do not bid if you don’t understand that these things are vintage. They are not new (unless, of course, they’re new, which is occasionally true but specified in the auction). This rule is a tribute to someone named Randy in Arizona who once asked if I could send a different 1920s clock because this one looked old.
I don’t take any returned items unless I inadvertently misrepresented the item: full refund if I called it a juicer and it’s a radio. If I call it an ‘ex-boyfriend-bad-vibe-sender’ and it’s a telephone, we go to mediation.

5. I do not like to hear from you bottom-feeders who wait until after an auction and low-ball a ludicrously stupid offer. I am not that desperate.
Also, I don’t so much enjoy hearing from you Fiesta collectors or other specialists who have too much time on your hands and want to pontificate about your knowledge of my auction item. Thanks! I don’t care! Emails about the difference between the colors bean and maroon makes us chew off our hands.

7. You have seven days to pay before I begin to send you bad vibes. If you decline insurance, I am not responsible if the item is damaged by the shipper on its way to you. I am a superb packer, however, and you don’t have to email me to warn me that glass might break. Items ship by priority mail the same day you pay, or sometimes by UPS for heavier items and when it’s the season when the UPS guy wears shorts.
You found me then!

OK, she says she is not for surgical procedures and she does not strike me as the BS type. I don't think I would have the guts to go for a gastric band...I would be terrified of it going wrong. Seems like lots of people are jumping on the "band" wagon these days. Saying that I think the procedure is a lot safer than it used to be. I think the bypass is the scary one and has a high mortality rate...no? I have my suspicions about a few stars and bands. Kelly Osbourne I wonder about...Sharon had one didn't she? Ok its not fair to speculate, Kelly probs did it through hard work like she says and you only need to look at the success around here to see that it is possible to shift a heap of weight without surgery. I am not against surgery though. Lighter life is not something I am familiar with but from what I do know I don't think I could do it. I tried the Cambridge diet before, infact I still have the sachets here, I did not last five minutes.

Just read up on Kelly and it seems she is considering surgery as a form of maintenance...never thought of that before. I thought you had to be above a certain weight before a surgeon would carry out such an op.

I have really thought about that too-I even said it here!! I just sometimes think it would guarentee maintenance. I don't really think any surgeon would do it though---and eh I don't think at my weight it would be offered on the NHS !!! I know it's a stupid idea and I don't really ever think I'd go through with it-it's just maintenance scares me!! it would be like a security blanket effect!!
In all honestly I'm not sure I rely agree with GBs-I do think weight loss can be achieved without it. And def with the bypass,I think your on tablets for life, because I don't think you absorb nutrients.
I think Kdlly O. looks fantastic-she's tiny!!

Yesterday was HARD!!!! Cravings and general GRUMPINESS

Got on the scale this morning and I am down 1 pound. Not too happy about that but at least it is a pound in the RIGHT direction.

Thanks for all the "strength" vibes - they helped Today is day 2 of the Restart - I have planned for a busy day so I would not be tempted to snack. I never thought of myself as a "snacker" before Stillmans - I am really trying to pay attention to what and when I eat now.

I had a bad bad bad eating weeknd and am up 5 pounds! but I was camping and had so much fun I didn't care (except the day I got heat stroke)
Now I am going to spend a week losing again but If I had waited to lose weight til after camping like all my friends I would be like 5 piunds heavier than I am now instead pf at my starting weight so I am going to focus on that

I know stills works makes bad weekends less stressful

I have had several friends get the band and several that did the by-pass surgery. Out of 11 or 12 only ONE of them has been able to keep the weight off!!!!

These are only a TOOL to help with weight loss and maintanence. We can and do have the ability to make wrong choices and gian the weight back.

I have had a couple of friends have severe complications (1 even died) with the by-pass surgery and YES you do have to take medication for LIFE. Most people say that they will do it but many get so tired of taking 6-10 pills a day they stop and then they are risking their lives.

I seriously considered the by-pass but REALLY had to ask myself the hard question if I would be willing to take pills every day just to survive? Since I really HATE taking medication I knew I would be one to let days/weeks/months slip by skipping or not taking my meds. So, by-pass was not a good option for me.

Sounds like you had a great time and you were prepared for the gain and had the knowledge of Stillman's to help get you back on track
