Helloooo!! Back after disappearing for the summer. Long story. Short version is I decided to speed things along and signed up with a sports nutritionist. Ate a lot of food (mostly low cal) and carbs, etc. But guess what? No weight loss. Actually, up about 1.5 lbs since I started with her.
Coming back to the thing that works for me: Stills baby! I had plateaued a bit when I last was on here. But I think if I had been diligent the scale would have begun to slide. So... technically still with the nutritionist but doing Stills incognito till my time is up with her. One more month. I'm interested to see what happens this time. Really hoping I can get below my 200. That's my goal! I'm also counting cals and keeping low. (She had me eating almost 1800 cals. Doesn't sound like much but I sit quite a bit, when I'm not working out in the gym.) Need to start taking my daily walk again. I'm lifting weight again and I love it. How are you girls?! Missed you all!

I know a few girls have done their own version of Stills to some point. Give it a go and see if it works. |

OMG thank ou for coming to life y'all!
read your nutritionist with a jaundiced eye; traditional knowledge pretty much makes them dumber than us as far as weight lloss kids, I'm fading fast so good night and good luck, I love ya!! meat is good, skinny is great! |

DAY ONE
OK day one for me... I know if I can make it to day three I can totally do this. Breakfast will be bacon (no fat) and two poached eggs. lunch will be salmon (not on the stillman list but I have always lost well with it as I have with a little low fat cheddar or low fat mayo which I need for my tuna mix). I will be allowing a small amount of salad daily in the form of spinach leaves, cucumber and lettuce...I believe GT did this and she lost an amazing amount of weight ...the carb count is really low anyway. Dinner will be a seasoned chicken on a bed of spinach...about a handful and a small amount of LF mayo or LF parmesan. If I need to snack it will be something meaty or maybe SF jelly... this modified version I know works for me...wish me well.Last edited by makemeslim; 08-12-2011 at 12:17 AM.. |

Hey ladies!
the weekend is finally here its the bad time of week for me because I have no internet at home and being on the boards seems to go hand in hand with weight loss even if I'm strictly on plan the whole weekend. Its magic! ![]() |
