OOOH! Got it. Well, glad to know which one I should take when I visit Ireland. (It's on the list, just not sure when.) We have one good airline, Southwest. The rest are pretty sketchy at times, depending on where you're going and which airline it is.

Wedding !!

Hello Team!

I'm on the road home so i will just give a quick bit

The wedding was a smash hit extravaganza!
Everyone loved the yacht and the weather was perfect too

We all ate and drank ( oh and ate more) , danced and it was like a wedding from a movie .

I'm still In a daze right now

I don't have a photo yet but should very soon

Everyone gushed about my dress, hair, make up and mostly about my figure
It all happened just the way I planned and dreamed

I do feel kind of bloated but I don't feel down because I know stillmans will take care if any gains... I have a honeymoon June 30 and I gotta be awesome
I didn't go crazy this weekend but I know i had quite a bit of carbs / sugars , but thats why I got to 135 to spare myself the drama, I'm sure I've Gained but in still bikini Ready

Wedding a success and I'm thanking the stillman plan and all of you here for your advice and support along this crazy road to weight loss

I look forward to my eggs and chicken

Will be Back with photos asap

Took a pic of my thighs to check if all my working out is paying off and yu-up, i really think it is!!! I wasn't sure if I really was a believer in Callanetics and co. but I definitely think my thighs are thinner--and looking longer. It's strange cos I don't feel as if they've changed at all--but comparing the pics I think maybe it is working!! Maybe some day I will have skinny legs!!

Hi Roomies-

I'm a little discouraged this morning...I've weighed every day since the 1st and twice this week now I've stalled...once on Friday and now this morning...stuck again at 212.5

And the worst part is, I've been good too...yesterday I had a HB egg for b'fast, scrambled eggs and bacon for lunch and a HB egg and a lean hamburger patty for dinner...

When I originally tried Stillman's (back in 2010), I remember I lost like 12 pounds the first week...

Anyone have any advice for why I'm stalling so much this time around?

(oh and P.S. I'm drinking around 90-100 ounces of water a day so that can't be the problem)

Hey Bummed Brum!......is it wrong that I laughed!!! unfortunately stalls happen-it's just a fact. Hate them too. But I don't think it means you're not losing fat. When we lose fat and water our fat cells fill up with water to compensate cos it doesn't want to get dehydrated. So the scale will stay the same-you mightn't even have inch loss--but you're still losing fat. There's an article about it called Why the scale lies and it explains it better than me!!! But the general thought is water weight masks fat loss.
Hang in there, your body will give up its water weight eventually and you'll get the whoosh!!

Brum,

ok you are still in good standing. DO not worry and do not deviate from plan. Just keep hanging in there with it and keep it as lean as you can, make sure you are making mental note of any other food items or drinks, you can be having, to make sure you really arent getting in your own way this time around.
I think everytime we go back on a diet, or a plan, its going to be harder each time. I can personally attest to that ! ugh.

I would not worry if I were you, the cells will release the water. Just do not give up or be sad, focus on other things for a few days, and keep as active as possible

Dancing Burns Calories!

Good Morning,

ok this morning, I went in for my dreaded weigh in to see the aftermath.
I was not horrible this weekend, but I did allow some splurges here and there.
Surprisingly I was at 134.6 this morning, which would mean I actually weigh the same or less than when I left for my wedding...very interesting.

The only explanation I can think of is that for the days I splurged, it was only for 1 meal, and the entire day prior to that meal I was very anxious due to the wedding and I hardly ate anything plus I was really active all weekend, swimming, dancing, walking everywhere at break neck speed. Also since I was eating regular food, I did go to the bathroom "properly" so I am sure that knocked out some excess water weight too!

I was sure I would be up 5 lbs but I was wrong. I am exactly the same, and my stomach is back to flat from the bloat of yesterday.

I will consider myself very fortunate, and continue to stay strong to Stillman plus a few variations to prep for maintenance, but June 30 is Bahamas vacation and I want to be ultra slim for my bikinis

Peeps! Im back in action!! I had a great week/weekend!!! Had a few parties to go to and saw friends and family I hadnt seen in years. I got to wear some cute outfits and it was so much fun! I missed you guys big time! I stuck to meat but had a few no-nos, like hotdogs, hamburgers, and sausage, but Im back to lean to get these last pesky pounds off. Im not weighing for a few days because I know Im up, but hopfully I'll be back on the losing strak by weeks end.

Oh...and the drinks..there were lots.
