Meaty May

I have decided to start a thread for my strict May because I don't want to take over the Marvelous May board with Menus. I am going to write my menu for evryday on here to give myself accountability. If anyone else wants to do a strict May with me feel free to put your menus up too andmaybe we can give each other ideas.

Oh, I'm in! I am being super strict and basically combining Stillman's with IF on most days, and it is working well. Today I've had:

1 packet (2.5 oz) albacore tuna
1 hardboiled egg
mustard
black coffee with stevia drops
tons of water all day

I will be eating something again tonight because I'm feeling hungry, but my goal is to only eat when I truly feel hunger and not just because it's breakfast/dinner/lunch time and I'm "supposed" to have a meal. I also did 30 minutes of P90x yoga this morning. I'm feeling lighter and more fit already, so I'm very excited and motivated to keep it going until I get to my goal.

I just had a baked mahi mahi fillet for dinner. Fishy day, I guess. And yes, I ate dinner at 11:00 pm. I'm going to drink more water and see how I feel. I might have a little FF Fage yogurt if I'm still hungry.

I was full after the fish, so I resisted the yogurt! It's just amazing how much my appetite has been suppressed by eating this way. To think that people pay thousands of dollars for pills, injections, or even go through major surgery for the same effect. Stillman's rocks! And it's free! (NO offense intended to anyone who has done any of those things...I totally understand that sometimes it's necessary. I'm just amazed that this works so well for me.)

Looks like everyone's doing great! I ended up not eating again yesterday after the 2 eggs, so I came in at 147 calories for the day. Whoopsie. That's ok though, because I'm down another pound. Today I will definitely eat more. I was really hungry this morning, so I had 2 scrambled eggs along with my coffee. Will probably have tuna for lunch. Not sure about dinner. Tons of water, as usual.

I am feeling crummy today. Have a bad headache, and on top of that, I am ravenous for some reason. Lunch today is a bowl of shrimp (didn't measure) with a couple spoonfuls of homemade ketchup. I might even be hungry enough to break out the FF Fage. Ugh, I just want my headache to go away!

Maybe it was because you didn't eat much the day before? I always find I am ravenous the day after I don't eat much

Well I've stalled...but I ate a large cheese crisp yesterday (for the first time ever) and I'm wondering if that might have thrown me off...at least I didn't gain anything I just stayed at 211.5

What do y'all think?

I have noticed from your menus that you have still kept quite a bit of fat in, thats a good thing though because when you hit a stall you can start cutting things out

I would guzzle the water today and if you are still stalled after a coule days you can start cutting out the fattier things (bacon, pork rinds) or carbier things (peanuts) and see if that helps you

Yesterday I ended up at 1,300 calories, 16g carbs, and 60g fat (??). Still Atkins inductions levels, but I'm up a darn pound today! I did end up eating a cup or so of FF yogurt, and I made hamburgers for dinner and ate 3. The only fat I had was from the burgers and the eggs I had for breakfast. I was surprised it was 60g!

Today, I feel much better, and I'm not hungry at all yet, so I feel kind of back to normal. I think the 1 pound is probably because I have more food "in my system" right now. So my menu yesterday was:

B: 2 eggs, scrambled
black coffee, w/stevia drops

L: shrimp w/homemade ketchup

S: FF Fage yogurt w/stevia drops

D: 3 small hamburgers w/homemade ketchup

S: a little more yogurt

I stayed away from the dainty trays but I must confess I did have 4 pickle slices, 4 cucumber slices, 4 celery pieces and 5 little pieces of cheese and some dip (1 tsp) for the veggies

Today I wasn't very hungry. I had my morning black coffee w/stevia, then didn't eat until tonight, when I had 1 leftover burger w/ketchup (my homemade sugarfree kind). I am really hoping to see a loss tomorrow, but who knows.
