Beth--i do eat lean, all the time! Ground beef is once in a blue moon for me! My menu is tuna, tuna, tuna!!! ,chicken and 1HB egg a day--that's circa 6grms of fat a day! Sometimes I toss the yolk.
I don't do that much cardio-I do HIIT 3 times a week, which I don't think is too much. I reckon it's only the reccommended amount for a healthy heart etc. I def would do more -I just don't have the energy!!!
I can't do anymore resistance training/isometrics--I do 2.5-3hrs a day. I don't lift heavy weights or anything-2lb ones-I use them in the HITT too.
I know that weights build muscle and fat can only be burnrd in muscle-and that it should also up my metabolism.
Until about a month ago I have never eaten AS during QWL-no diet coke, no sf jello-nothing!!-I'm the one who always goes on about how crap I think they are! I'll cut the gum out again--but like really it was 4piecs a day, and not every day!

I reckon it is the starvation mode thing-definitely!!
Maybe I should get my thyroid checked, but I have no symptoms of an under active thyroid--and trying to convince my GP that I have had trouble losing weight might be difficult givin my stats!!!

I just think I need to get over my pity party!! I know i've ruined my metabolism and it's my own fault so I'm just gonna have to get over it!!

Hi Dee! Welcome! You'll have great success with QWl!!!

If you're doing QWL-then yeah it's only lean proteins, as lean as possible, no salad or sauces.
If you read the stickies you'll get a better idea of the lean meats you can eat!
Oh and QWL works faster than Atkins!

Morning Everyone!!!! Im all out of eggs!!!! and chicken!!!! Gotta shop today, for sure. its such a crummy day out. Hope the sun comes out later. If not, I think I'll take the kids to see Kung Fu Panda 2.

Weight: 121
Menu Yesterday:
2 eggs/ can o tuna
2 eggs/can o tuna
can o tuna, and 1/2 chicken breast
3 eggs poached (worked til midnight so I had a 4th meal )
3 CLs
2 sweet&lows
black coffee
2 gum

The poached eggs were gross. I dont have those tiny cups to cook them in proper, so i just cracked them in a pot of water. yucky mess, but I slurped them down anyway!! (now doesnt that sound appetizing?)

Hope everyone has a great day. Im looking forward to the day off with the kids, but I'll check back!!

I've been weighing every 3rd day and that is helping me not go crazy

I got on yesterday ( i snuck,and thought I saw 135 somthing or other)
so today I got on official 135.6

.6 away from wedding goal, and we have 6 days to go

I am going to be So strict this week and make sure that I am seeing that 135.0 ( or heck 134.5 to make room for rehearsal dinner !)

I am doing the flat stomach dance

ok I am on my way to the final FINAL dress fitting and I am telling her to literally sew it to my frame like a second skin! No funny business!

135.6 wowza wowza

Every understand the power of Stillmans !!

thats 25 lbs total LOSS as of today ( 25 lbs down in 2 months)

Congrats SALLY! Isn't this so awesome. There's NO WAY we can lose this lightning fast with Weight Watchers and or even ATKINS. NO WAY. It's truely the power of the mind then the body just follows. I just lOVE IT!

TANYA! Yippykyaaaa! You're such a rock star, girl. look at far you've come and still had a bit of cake, cheese, and alckeholll. I just love this WOL. SO LIBERATING!

Well, I'm keeping the good fight of thin. Can't wait to see what happens to my body in a few weeks. Bikini here I come. I think I'll probably live in a bikini for a few month, just because... "oh, this... all my clothes are dirty at the present!" "is my itzybitzy bothering you? Here let me put on my hot pants to cover up lolololoo" JK OF COURSE.

Hugs, and stay strong "lean mean, fat burning machines!"

Essence yes we are about the same weight and we can really support each other here as well as having the help of the veterans on board who are nearly at goal.
There's nothing like the experience and the success of others to spur us on.
Here's to us all dropping the fat and being slim

I am eating tuna, chicken breasts and eggs mainly poached which I eat with the tuna/chicken.
I have stopped using the mustard and copied Psych doc using the runny yolk of the egg as a dressing/sauce for the tuna/chicken.
It's working for me.

Helloooooo, ladies! I'm back from my trip, and did great with my diet while I was gone. Thursday, I was at 176, and today I'm at 173.5. Woohoo! I did have a couple of issues like when we unexpectedly went out to lunch at Applebee's, but I got a grilled chicken Caeser salad and ate all of the chicken, a little bit of lettuce and dressing. Then there was the day we were at another person's house and I didn't have my food with me, and they ordered pizza for lunch. I explained to a few people that I was pre-diabetic, and I just can't have sugar or white flour, which is true...didn't want to get into the weight loss thing, and this IS for my health and to prevent myself from developing diabetes. They were really nice about it and ordered me an antipasto salad, so that was lunch. Not Stillman's, but lowcarb with protein. The rest of the time, I ate the turkey and lean beef burgers and FF cottage cheese I had packed. Pretty easy! I wasn't even tempted by all the Panera goodies.

I hope everyone else had a great weekend! I'm feeling great and totally on track. I do not feel controlled by food at all. I did have a dream that I was eating a brownie, and I was really relieved when I woke up and realized it was only a dream...how crazy is that??? Happy Memorial Day, everyone!!!

Wow! First, a warm welcome to all the wonderful new faces!

Second, Al 120?!?, Tanya 135.6!?!, SALLY B. 14lbs lost?!! etc etc, everyone is ROCKIN IT!

My extremely, over the moon, happy news is I had a WHOOSH, I lost 8lbs on Friday's weigh in putting me smack dab in the 140s. The plain train served me well. Of course, I immediately "cheated" over the weekend. Atkins style, I added in mixed green salads with olive oil dressing, cheeses, even some nuts, hopefully, my next weigh in will be the same number (or less). Yesterday, I was plain Stillman's girl again and it felt fine. Honestly, I like this weight so much on me. I'm thinking if I could maintain this, I'll be thrilled. I thought I wanted to go to 133lbs and if naturally I lose more weight that'll be fine but I'm not going to struggle too much to get there. I've got curves - much smaller curves but I've still got boobs and a booty and I like 'em at this weight. Oh, who am I kidding? I want to see 133lbs dammit! Everyone have an amazing day, xo - Viv

ps I like the june jewels title!
