My parents are doing a photo presentation at the rehearsal dinner, they dont think I know, but I know !I saw some of the photos ( because they got them from me) and they are some high school and college, and my goodness, I look pretty big.. even my fiance was like, wow, you picked up some weight in college! .. I was like, um I know, thanks for pointing it out man! goodness!

I like the appearance of slimmer legs versus my usual athletes track runner GAMS

I love those slideshows at weddings!!!! what great parents to set that up!!

My weight has been up and down all my life, theres not one picture where i look the same twice. I dont think I could ever agree to handing over my chubby photos though.

I have huge calves. Probably from carrying around extra weight for so long, cause its not like I was ever a runner or exerciser..They did slim down lots with Stills, but Im thinking they'll always be a bit big/un porportioned.

My menu yesterday was:

2 eggs over-easy
1 HB egg
1 mahi mahi fillet
1 turkey burger
1 lean beef burger
a few spoonfuls of SF ketchup
1/2 cup FF cottage cheese w/nutritional yeast (1 carb and no sugar)

I was actually shocked that I was down a pound this morning, because that seemed like a LOT of food to me.

Hi T good to know Stills QWL plan could help reduce thigh size as large thighs have always been the bane of my life.

Very nice, it seems like your stay straight and strict program is getting you down more and more to the goal weight

There is nothing like knowing exactly what to do, and then doing it!

Nice work

TXM- When did you start, today or yesterday? Make sure to get plenty of rest!!! I know its hard to do right now with the little one, but the first week will be draining, so definitely ask for help and take your naps! Have you done Stillmans in the past?

Hey Al,

I started the Atkin's Fat Fast on Monday. I will finish that Friday, and then I will start Stillmans on Saturday. Trust me, I'm already drained from doing the Fat Fast, and I am looking forward to bein able to eat to fullness.

I've never done Stillmans before because I love fatty meat, but I want to drop these pounds quickly, so here i am!

Have you ever done a Fat Fast, and if so, how much did ya lose? I haven't been weighing because I want to see just the end result. I'll post on Saturday morning and let ya'll know how much I lost.

Good Afternoon,

Boy have my days been busy...But I had to check in on my lovely ladies

I see we have a new person to join our ranks... TXM..Your little one is adorable You seemed to have gotten off to a great start..You'll notice great results if you stick with the plan...There is lots of support here and the ladies (and gents?) are great

GT--I like chocolate too, but at certain times...It is a craving that sneaks up every once in awhile...Quality Milk chocolate and expensive...So since I am a spend thrift, those moments are rare and have been non existent for quite some time...

BFM--Congrats

Al-Congrats

AkaGal--Congrats

Pure--I got the notion that you were from an Asian country obsessed with weight when you talked about your community long before in your initial postings..I rarely talk to adolescents in my line of work because they are excluded (there is a reason behind that which I will probably talk about further at a later date) from my specialty, but the results of this obsession is manifest as they grow older..I read about the tapeworms and the obsession with white American features causing a surge in plastic surgery among Asian women for quite sometime...I only know because of the studies related to Body Dysmorphic Syndrome/Disorder as it pertains to certain cluster groups...Thanks for sharing part of that personal 'unpacking' that is unsettling when it comes to weight loss...You are very brave and the women here are more than capable to offer their support and encouragement through this time...Make sure you stay focused on YOUR personal goals and let the naysayers stay on the side lines regardless of how 'close' they profess to be to you....Sometimes the closes people can exact the most pain..Be strong...

I'll finish my thought later..I just got called away....

Hey All!

Hugs and love, your way!

GT! I had a revelation of sorts when I was thinking about you, could have been a prayer, but not intentional...

I'm of Irish decent... Don't hold THAT against me..., anyway, we IRISH and other FORTUNATES in the world have a proclivity towards Hypothyrioidism, IR, and Syndrom X. I found out the hard way when I was a skinny minni b4 I got preggers then EXPLODED and gained a whopping (eating less than 1200 cals a day--mind you) 110 in pregnancy as my THyroid crashed and burned literally...

I'm actually writing a book to help those who are trapped in the world of Hormone Hell, and Dieting as it purtains to LC lifestyle, in order to help "set the captive free". (Keep me in your prayers) Nonetheless, the reason you are having to go to SUCH extremes, AS I HAD TO TOO-- but then it backfired, could be due to your underactive Thyroid. Insulin Resistance most assuradly piggy-backs Hypo T, so you get double for your trouble.

If you'd like, I'll digress further later. There are tests that you need to take that the Standard TSH tests don't show the amount of FREE T4, the active hormone that functions in the cell Mitochondria--- Don't be SKERRD. I'll explain. Hopefully, you have Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Drs. in the UK.

I'll share more later.

Blessings to ya all.

These are false statements...

IR does not coincide with hypothyroidism...There are primary, secondary and tirtiary reasons why hypothyroidism occurs (hypothlymus vs. pituitary vs the gland itself)..There are also certain medical conditions sheehan's, meig's syndrome, etc. that produce hypo/hyperthyroidism among many more other associated diseases or illnesses acquired through other means...

Test is thyroid panel which checks: T3, T4, free T3 and TSH...more sensitive test will check TRH(from the hypothalamus)

The average person doesn't know that Atkins is higher fat
They just think it's all meat and no bread , etc etc
Due to that I can get away with the fib

I had friends over recently, and they are close friends, so I'm comfortable with them knowing I'm on a diet, but they made it a big deal that I couldn't eat anything but meat, and actually posted on Facebook that they were having dinner with someone who only eats meat, and referred to me as a "Faunatarian" and a "Meatatarian". They were just being funny, but it still made me feel like I was on the spot, which I do not like, so I know how uncomfortable that is when your friends start asking questions.

In my day to day life, I eat my foods like a finely tuned machine, and I mind my business. I have gotten good at this diet, and frankly i would like to keep it that way..

Blessings to ya all.
holy cow a book!
