Awesome GT...My sister and I usually take our mother out to brunch on Saturday (if we or either one of us are in town) and dinner on Sunday...She loves flowers...It is like a necessity to get her flowers for every conceivable holiday (even Holloween)...It is a great thing to be at home this time to celebrate her day..I'm on tonight so I'll be at the hospital alllllll night with new admits....I had enough time to catch up on all the things that have been going on here...I never heard of MOI water enhancers before...I will have to find and try them...I usually have pink grapefruit/white grape/pink lemonade CL always on hand...

I also make Crystal light Ice pops as a treat!
Thanks so much! I hope it works for me too. I have such a hard time drinking plain water!

I couldn't find it in the store so I ordered a 4 pack on Amazon. Can't wait to try! I hope the Fruit Punch flavor tastes good!

Yes ! I have fruit punch right now , you will not be disappointed
One " squeeze " of MIO equals for 8 ounces of water , so for your average bottle of water , u just need two squeezes !'

I've always had a HUGE appetite, like a nice big black girl should ! ( HA HA)

I had a great lunch, tuna + mustard+ egg ...I am desiring turkey though, so tonight after the gym I am heading to the store

My fiancee has put me on "bone watch"..so he said if he sees another bone start to protude, that my weight loss has to stop. I told him I am close to goal and not to worry.
My goal is actually 140, and I am only 3 lbs away which WILL be gone this week. And the 135 is just for wedding sakes, but my normal weight goal will be 140-145 to maintain....

He is SO silly... bone watch? really?

Anyway, I lie, I do crave cake right now.... Give me CAKE
OMG aka did you just say you're a BBG! I love you girl!

Years ago I had a job at a silkscreen shop and across the street was a Jamaican dude who worked as a sign painter.
His work was beautiful, he was an incredible artist, and he was stoned outta his mind most of the time. His boss didn't care, his work was that good.
I used to spend my lunch break watching him paint (I took commercial art in HS)
and every time I went over to the shop he would declare in his lovely Jamaican brogue accent.........

"Ah. Mel. you are such a lovely big white girl"

I still laugh my a$$ off when I remember it...........

You tell Mr. Thing that you're on a bone watch, too........if it gets any slimmer you're tossing him to the curb

God, I crack myself up...........

I understand that is a problem I must handle.

We have a few vacations planned for the end of June and also in September, so I have no intention of just jumping off stillmans and shoving carbs down my throat

My exit plan will be alternating 1 week of Stillmans, and then 1 week of the Stay Slim eating plan that is listed in his book

I will have cheat days here or there, but I plan to stick with this for a while.

I like being slimmer and I hate having to work out all the time, so this way of eating really helps me.

I wont be off stillmans even after the wedding. So on the honeymoon, I will not be eating everything in sight, but I will be drinking, of course..

The wedding is June 4 but the honeymoon is not until June 30, so I have time to test eating plans, etc etc.

I dont want to exit the plan just yet, I am going to study his Stay Slim plan, and frame my lifestyle around that.. I dont ever want to go back to my yo yo diets and my old ways of eating...

freakin' HUGE GO you!!

I understand that is a problem we all have to wrap our minds around, how we get there is anyone's guess.......when the light bulb goes off for you please tell us what made it happen.

I like being slimmer and I hate having to work out....this from the triathlete? LOL! I love it! Meat is so much easier!

I'm currently doing medi-weight loss, but it's becoming a bit expensive, so I've purchased the Stillman QWL diet book and based on the Amazon tracking, it should be waiting for me when I get home

I'm really glad I found this board because before this, I had never heard of Stillman's. I'm also glad I've found you guys because if I decide to leave medi I'll need some accountibility since I won't be paying for weigh-ins and menu ideas. I figure, the stats on this board are amazing, so obviously you're on the right track and with the money I save, I can start buying new clothes that actually fit instead of using belts for the pants and out-dated shirts.
EXCELLENT!

lurking=studying

I love a prepped student and I lurked for months before showing my big a$$ self........

Medi is great but it's just a commercialized big dollar Stilly diet, so welcome to sanity and affordability!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO that's a load of crap I am firmly convinced that paleo/atkins is the key.
We all knw what 'normal' eating did for us, to go back to that would be suicide

I will approach Maintenance like a game

I have struggled with my weight my whole life, and I know it wont end now, but it helps to be educated . I feel more powerful like I dont have to suffer with a high weight just because I dont know any better.

How long have you been on stillmans?

LOL she's the queen!
maintenance=you get to drink (no carb vodka tonics) and eat blue cheese dressing and veggies! I'm down with that! That's why I never gained more than 5 lb. in over a year peeps!

It's another good book! It's slightly depressing though! It's not a diet book per se, but it's good if you have lets say 'food issues'! Someone called Gullo wrote it, can't think of his first name!

LOL she's the queen!
maintenance=you get to drink (no carb vodka tonics) and eat blue cheese dressing and veggies! I'm down with that! That's why I never gained more than 5 lb. in over a year peeps!
I had a vodka/water last weekend and I squeeze in a 1/2 pack of crystal light and it was so awesome! I think thats my go to drink, IF a drink is necessary

Whats your advice/suggestion for Maintenance?
I am getting closer and getting nervous
