Can I ask you guys, what is your sugar-free jello flavoured with?? That's the wobbly strawberry etc stuff? We call it jelly. Just wondering cos I'd like to get some but it's flavoured with aspartamine. I've not eating any AS during Stills except sf gum the last few months. I'm just wondering, especially from Tanya cos it def hasn't done you any harm! And it would be nice to have something sweet!

He reccommends staying on a kind of pre-maintenance for 5days for every pound you lost!! Oh goody!!

Also I think standards are higher now--what was considered thin a few years ago is 'curvy' now.

I'm not sure how to attach the charts but it's essentially what GT says, 5 feet - 100 pounds, for every inch above 5 feet, add 5 lbs. That's from my worn copy of The Doctor's Quick Weight Loss Diet. In the Inches off Diet, he specifically says 5'8 133lbs and calories per day to maintain 1500. If you get a chance to get a copy of the book, it's sort of amusing. He definitely has no patience for excuses! It's kinds of refreshing.

Thank you soo much GT. I'm so amazed by your journey and I totally relate to finding a weight that brings peace. I hope we all can find that. Right now, I'm in the place where I just feel so grateful to slip on a pair of jeans and not worry about wearing the thing that covers me up best. I still get blue and can totally focus on the flaws but I'm trying to focus on the parts of my body I love and make peace with the parts.. uh, not so much.

Cool! Thank you! I went and filled out the Dukan questionnaire, and that said my "true weight" is 150. The Stillman chart says 112-125. Honestly, while I do intend to get to 135, my "happy place" is 150. I'm about a size 8 at that weight, which I'm ok with. I will have to decide once I get there, which will hopefully be sooner rather than later!

I'm at 202 today!!! Completed 45 minutes of Zumbathon today and it was hard! I had salmon and cucumbers today.
Do you guys think that Zumva everyday is too much? This is the 6th day in a row of 45 minutes. My graduation is on Sunday and my present to myself is to be 200 pounds!! |
