The 24 day hardcore Stillman's diet

I am going for it. I will eat the following foods and get the weight off:
[LIST][*]chicken - delicious[*]eggs - limited as the fat content means too many inhibit losses[*]fromage frais - really good for slimming as it is fat free and very low carb (it's a cheese Stillman's legitimises) - I once lost a lot of weight eating this and apples!!

I am sick to death of not being able to get into skirts and other items in my wardrobe that don't fit. 90% of my wardrobe is not fitting and that is not fun for a young woman. I am also sick of wasting my time planning diets and failing. I am wasting my life worrying about my weight. I am also not looking my best. Well all that is changing. I am changing it. I CAN AND WILL SUCCEED - FOOD HAS NO IQ!!!!!!

EXERCISE
Daily
Weights - just got some dumbells of Amazon
Sit-ups and callanetics for stomach
Cycling (at least 11 miles day)

Other
Running sometimes

Plenty of people have dieted and succeeded. Yes, others have tried and failed (inc. myself previously) but fundamentally I have to remember that I want the suits and other clothes to fit more than I want a certain food.

The trickiest part is when you are out and can't control what is served e.g. a sandwich lunch at work etc. A meal on a train. Oh well, sit there drink water and don't touch anything else I guess.

I will post on this thread and keep you informed.

I will keep this deal I make with myself.

I must remember whatever happens I am beautiful and worthy of success. Bingeing and over-eating is not doing right or justice to myself.

Do you want a partner by any chance... I have a wedding on May 14 and I would love to lose at least 10 by then....24 days would bring us to May 10th...
so perfect timing...

I actually have been doing Atkins from March 7th until April 11th and I lost 10 pounds and I was stuck for like a week and then I switched to Stillmans on the 11th and I lost 5 POUNDS by Saturday..so 6 days and I was NOT carbed up...so this diet really does work...

Here is what I ate everyday..same thing everyday..
Breakfast: 2 cups of coffee with fat free half and half, fat free cottage cheese with tuna mixed in..
Lunch: egg drop soup...so chicken broth with egg whites whisked in while the soup is boiling and some seasonings..so yummy!!
Dinner: 2 turkey burgers with mustard
Water all day long...probably at least 10 cups...nothing else to drink...

so yesterday I did an Atkins day and I went up .2.. probably over did a little with the veggies..but it was one of those days where I just wanted something different
So back to Stillmans today and looking forward to it...I am feeling great and I have no hunger what so ever..
Going to the grocery store today to stock up... really hope you want a partner!!!

Hi Susan!

Sounds like you've made your commitment and are ready to drop some serious weight fast! Stillmans definitely takes the worrying and planning out of the diet picture - not too many choices, so nice and easy. Just have your meat, eggs and cheese ready at all times! How simple is that, right!! You will succeed!!!!

Hi chessie,

Sure, let's do this. I will post in from time to time.

Whatever happens just stay focused and committed.

You sound like you are someone who loses easily so may the force be with you.

For me, May 12th is a very important day and I need to be rocking those suits by then.

HELLO aleriaaa:

I am so glad you posted in. I have followed you on the boards and I just love your motivational posts (your loss is truly impressive and you are clearly not just mouth and no trousers!!!!) I absolutely agree with your words of wisdom - give a woman meat and she will conquer her hips.

You are awesome, keep posting because I am reading. BTW: you look so hot in your photos!

Thanks so much! I was just rereading my QWL Book. He really does promise 10-20 pounds the first week and 5 pounds a week after that! I really feel it can be done, but its sometimes so hard to get rid of the extras non-stop. He's talking not one drop of alcohol, not one ounce of cream, non one lettuce leaf! He even says that a stick of gum will hinder some. Yikes.

Its just a few short weeks til your event. You can do this! Get er done!!

BTW: My photos arent me. (I WISH) Its Britney and Gaga!!

ABSOLUTELY! It's a hard road. This is what messes me up - I think okay just a little carbs and then I remember what Stillman says (no carb) so i think start tomorrow,,,,,,,,

Oh well, as you say it's only a few weeks (24 days until May 12th) so better I get this done and over and conquered!!!!!

I had to laugh on your Gaga/Britney comment.... I was watching Beyonce's single ladies video at the weekend. Beyonce proves you can have curves and look totally hot. Mind you she has slimmed down a lot over the years.

To aleriaaa and everyone else - STAY STRONG. WE DESERVE IT and WE ARE WORTH IT

I'm in I was going to do Stillmans hardcore for 21 days to lose some belly bloat and look nice for my fiances graduation on May 13, I would love 21 pounds if not more by then.

My exercise plan will be cardio mainly Zumba and body weight exercises. Also I plan to drink at least 3 liters of water a day and get in at least 6 hours of sleep, I'm noticed both of these things affect my weight loss.

Good!!! we have a little group going... for me it helps being accountable.. today was a stillmans day except for a stick of sugar free gum...and I do have fat free half and half in my 2 cups of coffee a day..if I could lose 5 pounds a week I would gladly give that up...
so my goal is 100% stillmans for 1 week...not 1 bite of a non stillmans food... lets see if the good doctor was right...so my goal for next Sunday is 5 pounds...

Well hello sprinters,
My date is May 13th. I want to eat at the rehearsal dinner that night and DD wedding is May 14.....

I hope to be at 160 by then. I'm 172 now. I lost 8 pounds since Monday. I had one slip up day of eating off plan when i checked out the wedding candy stashed at the house. But I decided to count the calories and it was only 600. So I ended up with 1600 that day. But today I ate on plan at 800. I've decided to count the calories too.

Blessing to all,
I'll be checking you out
Frances

Down 1 pound this morning!!!! I did run yesterday for 20 mins..so it seems on the days I run there is also a 1 pound loss...even more reason to get on the treadmill.

Frances, we have a wedding on the same day....we can lose alot by then if we stick to plan perfectly..

Cyone, I agree with Frances, that is very doable for the first week...

well today is my the start of my 100% not one cheat week..I will not even lick my fingers...and water only..and lots of it... I really want to see if 5 pounds a week is possible..I dont have a whole lot to lose either..so this will be a good experiment

I'm in!!!!! We're leaving on vacation on May 7th I think. Sticking with Stillman's!!! We're going to visit dh's family, whom we haven't seen in 3 or more years. Can't even remember the last time we were able to make the trip. The kids have grown lots since then. I have a 15yodd and 17yods. Their Grandmother will be thrilled to see them!!

Good morning Stillman buddies... well I am down .4 this morning. Not to shabby..if I can average a half pound a day that would be 3.5 pounds a week.
I did stick to stillmans by the book..except for a little fat free half and half in my coffee. I cant drink it black and I cant give it up, I dont want to deal with headaches on top of everything else!!
Yesterday was hard. I was mentally hungry all day. I just wanted to eat something delicious..but I persevered and I am glad I did.
My clothes are hanging on me and my skinny clothes almost fit, hopefully I can switch to my skinny clothes next week..
Anyone else weigh in this morning????

Hi Chessie,
Great news on the loss, and hangin in there although you were hungry! I did weigh in and have officially hit the 172 again. I say again, because I was here before, but slipped up one day and ate 1600 calories off plan this past Friday. So it took me 3 days to come back down to 172. That a heads up to you,,,,,,don't mess up, mainly because we don't have all the comeback time. But I'm glad to see the 172 today. Hoping for 170 tomorrow.

great job you will be in the 160's before you know it!! consider your mess up a refeed...and once you get back on the losses are steady at first...at least thats how it was for me...
I am wondering how do i get off stillmans without gaining some weight back??? anyone have experience with this.. I obviously can not do this diet for long. I was thinking until the wedding and then switch back to atkins..but I dont want to go up a few pounds..

I'm 2.2 down from yesterday and I wasn't even strict with Stillman's yesterday. Had to eat out unexpectedly and an omelet just sounded so good!! But then again I was up yesterday from the day before. Going to be careful and strict today and show a loss for tomorrow!!

Toodles!

yah! Amazing! that's great 2.2

Chessie, I don't exactly know what I'm gonna do on May 15,,,,the day after the wedding.....I probably count the 13 and 14 as refeed weekend, and go back on stillmans till I make it to 150. You already look skinny to me, but I know you want to be right at your best weight.

ssabrina, Hi.....I have planned to do this for a total of 31 day,,,but i have a superfood drink I do occasionally that's loaded with veggie power and only 5 carbs. Vitamins.... Plus an occassional metamucil when needed. I feel really good though. How much do you have to lose if I may inquire.....

Susan and Cyone,,,,how are you guys doing?
