Googled it-looked quickly! I def think it's what we all agree will be are woe for ever more! It's def healthy. Lean meats, fish, eggs, veg, some fruits(i see big pics of berries) and nuts. It has no grains or dairy-i ain't giving up my skimmed milk! And I do like natural yoghurt sometimes! But it def is the way to go. Clean, lean and healthy natural foods. I don't believe anybody could put on weight eating that way. And its def the healthy way to eat. I don't agree with all the sf syrups, lc bread and basically crap food (if you can call it food) that a kot of Atkins-lovers eat. You're just swapping one unhealthy woe for another-still processed!
Ok off my soapbox now!

Making a post to confess my love for the tuna and cottage cheese mix
Sounds gross but boy to me it's like a treat I'm on to the pouches and they are so great for work , I just work on them with hunger strikes ! I notice some of you don't eat any cheese but I have been eating " stillman approved " cheese every day and losing fast so maybe I will cut if I hit a stall but for now , I'm keeping in the cottage cheese I made the quiche recipe that Aleriaaa reposted in the other thread and it's so good, I over ate the quiche yesterday and panicked but today I lost another pound ! I'm also obsessed with egg white omelets I've started using my sugar free kool aid mix to make slushees and frosty pops , I add splenda for more sweetness Helps erase the sweet tooth Thanks everyone for the recipes and supports and updates I feel much stronger and more full these days No more starvation ! I weighed in today at 155, which is 5 lbs in 5 days I got on and off the scale 4 times to be sure it wasn't a fluke It wasn't I have no fear about my June wedding Thanks to all for the recipes and ideas This gets easier everyday |

Ha! Reading the paleo diet-ok don't agree with all of it! But OMG why does everyone talk about a set-point???!! Aaaaaagh!!!!! Yes mine is 133!! everywhere I check it thats what it comes out at! And it is true! And everywhere says that you have to work too hard to achieve weight-loss, and more importantly lasting weight-loss below that!!! You're set-point can be reprogrammed I think, so here's hoping!

Hi! Good morning. ok I make the egg white omelet using the egg whites in the carton, its silly, but hey it works and it is stillman approved and I havent gained any by eating it, I put some meat in there and a little seasoning and its good. Also the quiche recipe only has eggs, chicken ( or turkey), paprika/salt/pepper, and cottage cheese...no milk or anything like that, and its good, and stillman friendly. |

Good morning! yes we are going to the Bahamas, and heck by then I am liable to look like a Sports Illustrated bikini model if I keep up my rate, even I hit a wall! lol Thank you for asking. You are right, once you see a loss, that is all the motivation you need. I dont want to cheat at all, period. Why mess up a good thing? |

Well Good Morning
![]() Cyone, Al and AkaGal Congratulations on your loses... I agree with the Paleo diet as well GT and Al....I looked into that diet before this one....I think that it is good for maintanence, but initially I think reintroducing certain things slowly and over the course of several weeks before committing to paleo...Every now and again, a few treats, but not on a regular basis.... I think upping my portions really helped me this weekend....I try to have beef once a week and along with my salmon for breakfast and dinner of more salmon, I ate ground beef for lunch yesterday....I also ate 2 boiled eggs (suggestion by Al last week instead of my beloved eggbeaters) with mustard at around 6pm...I think eating that additional meat helped me adjust into the 140's...So now for breakfast this morning I had a whole tin of tuna with 2 boiled eggs mixed together with mustard....I think that is pretty good....I am having a chicken breast week, so I am baking a few later to eat for the first few days of this week...I really hope this continues the decrease in the right direction... GT you mentioned David Hasselhoff has a new single...It is ironic that you mention him because he is in that new movie 'Hop'...I went to see it with my little niece over the weekend and it was adorable...I really like Russell Brand.... AKAGal--Don't worry about your wedding..You are on your way and just enhancing the features that you have..You will be gorgeous Cat you are soo funny...Your comment about falling off the wagon was hysterical...I started to chuckle... Ameile-About the flax seed..I use to eat those OMM on Atkins, and I have a whole 32oz bag of it in my fridge..I wanted to commit to Stillman's so I cut flax out because even though it has 0 net carbs, I don't want to chance losing weight at a steady pace because of flax...I like making flax oatmeal in the morning or those danishes, but I decided to leave it alone to see if this lifestyle works...As Al said, if you are continuing to lose with it, then maintain eating, if you hit a brick wall, stop anything that you think might contribute to the stall...It is totally up to you...Good Luck with your decrease... Have a great day everyone.... Last edited by PsychDoc3; 04-04-2011 at 07:44 AM.. |
