I actually love my leftover meat cold.

OMG I didn't even think about Tuna!! Duh!! Thank you!!
Yes I think I will for sure bring my own lunch to keep me on track!!

Hey peeps! Just a reminder that those little chickens can be cooked in a slow cooker! Turns out very moist and yummy, then the bones can be used to make soup later. I know everyone knows this but I thought Id throw it out there.

Its a cheaper alternative, and you really know whats on it, and not injected in it!

Yep, same here Al, had veggie plants more for entertainment. I always have a great herb garden tho. Easy, oregano, sage, mint, chives and rosemary come back every year, all I have to do is cut away the dead growth from last year's plant. And we have wild thyme that grows in huge patches in the yard.....smells great when you mow.

My Moms the garden ****, it's all she does when she comes up.
that was supposedx to be garden n@zi, didn't know it was a bad word...

Any suggestion on what I could make and then reheat??
Thanks for your help!
to start byo and check out the lay of the land. Have a plan of acceptable foods there and only ones that won't lead you astray. Be careful on the hidden salt in prepped stuff.
Since it's part time, maybe loading up on food before you work would help, too.

I forgot who asked me about olive garden salad. I just ask the waitress to bring 2 salads at the table, one with usually dressing and one without. My husband and daughter eat from one bowl and I eat with no dressing and give the crutons to my daughter off mine too.

My sister is actually way better looking than me and super thin and everything, plus she has twins herself!
Twins run in our family..

I defiintely got the short end of the stick genetically, between the two of us

We arent identical, we are fraternal..so we look like normal sisters except she looks kind of like a frail model, and I am the more large, taller and athletic looking one.

Went out to dinner for my moms bday

Had plain grilled chicken and gave my Side Dishes to my fiancee .

It was ok, I felt a little uncomfortable because some people were making a big deal about it, even though I wasnt. I scoped out the menu ahead of time and already made my mind up, so it wasnt a big deal.

I dont think I want to go out to eat again for a while..

I hear ya! Going out to eat is TOUGH. DH insisted on taking me out to lunch yesterday, and it was between my favorite sushi place and PF Chang's. I KNEW I couldn't resist the sushi, so I chose PF Chang's. Big mistake. They apparently do not have a single thing on the menu that doesn't have sugar in it, and they told me they couldn't even make anything without sugar. I studied the menu and ended up ordering an appetizer of seared Ahi tuna with greens. Of course it was served with a sweet dressing ALL over it. I decided to just eat it, but then I was wishing I had just gotten sushi since I don't even really like Ahi tuna! Nothing worse than an unintended, unwanted cheat that isn't even worth it.

Welcome back! I think most of us have had a period of time where we've slipped up. I have done the exact same thing more times than I care to think about. The best thing you can do is what you're doing! Get right back on track. Post here to keep yourself accountable, eat strictly Stillman's, and the weight will start disappearing.

Well, after the weekend of relaxing and eating a lot more than I had been, my tummy is bloated today (avoiding the scale today for sure!) and my appetite is back. I was starving this morning, so I had 2 eggs, 3 pieces of turkey bacon, and a tiny bit of homemade ketchup (sweetened with a little erythritol and stevia), plus 2 cups of black coffee (with stevia drops). I'm still hungry, but I'm trying to just drink water and resist eating more. I can't wait for the appetite suppression to kick in!

OK. Here goes.. If your crockpot is big enough..... I like to roll up a few aluminum foil balls, and place the chicken on top, like a platform. you'll still be able to get the chicken out whole if its not boiling in all those juices.

If you cant fit the alum, the chicken will still be delish, just kinda messy and falling/breaking apart. Season as you wish!

You can cook it frozen for 8 hrs, or thawed for 4-5..

Good Morning/Afternoon Beautiful People,

Congratulations ICDI..I knew you would be less than the 213...WTG!!

BFM, glad to hear you had an excellent birthday!!!

GT it is so nice to wake up to a fabulous breakfast prepared the way that you would want with the food that you would want...Yummy and very relaxing..It is nice to be back home...The comment made by CC was so funny and I had a little chuckle myself....Have a great week!!

AkaGal, glad to hear your mother's bday celebration went well at the restaurant..You would think that they would be more supportive..It is not like you have an eating disorder or anything...I usually go out to eat with family and friends who understand my desire to eat what is good for me...My dad is the only one who wants me not to get too small and was raging at me when I hit 180 many months ago...He wanted me to stop, but thank goodness I live in a different state than him and we talk occassionally by phone..Whew!!Most of my friends and family are proud of me so I don't get any of those resitive comments...My mom sometimes sizes up my plate, but she doesn't say much..She does say that I need to buy some new jeans though..And your sister...You both seem like such wonderful people...You'll get down to your ideal in just a few short weeks...You are already going to be a beautiful bride..I'm so happy for you..

BpM, Welcome..Nice to meet you...I hope we can help you as you help us get to where we want to be....

Daniela Welcome Welcome!!!

Busy, busy weekend...I was sooo glad that I cooked up several trays of ground turkey meat this weekend and brought it with me to the hospital...I didn't know when I was going to leave that place...Don't get me wrong..I love my job and value the patients I see, but a break is nice too...It was ground turkey all weekend...I made a few crepes this morning for breakfast(cinnamon,AS) and was very satisfied...I never made them with regular eggs(I used Eggbeaters before) and they turned out well...I brought some ground turkey for lunch..I was going to make some baked chicken breasts, but I have ground turkey leftover...Tonight is steak night...I'm excited....

Have a good week everyone...

BFM, next time you go out remember that you can eat sushimi instead of sushi...You are doing well this morning..Stick to you plan and everything will go well....Water, Water, Water...

Al that crockpot idea for a whole chicken sounds good...I wonder if you could do something similar with chicken breasts or should I stick with basting them in the over with chicken broth? Any ideas..I love experimenting with foods..It is kind of nice with the restrictions that we have and trying to make the foods edible without getting board...With all the different herbs, spices, condiments (not too many are available on plan), meats and eggs, it is so much fun making and building meals that are on plan, but delicious...It is kind of like a cooking contest....

I need some egg ideas! I don't like egg yolks but I have making myself eat them because the extra fat keeps me full and because I just can't give my dogs that many yolks, they would get fat haha

So I need an easily transportable egg idea I cannot eat another hard bolid egg but they are so handy haha, I tried making mini quiches and that wasn't bad but I got sick of them too.

I have 18 eggs in my fridge and I need to find something to do with them! I go through egg phases I either love them or hate them and right now I am in a hate phase lol

Egg recipes--Well, you know how to make egg drop soup, but be creative with it adding different herbs/spices..Also, add chicken or canned crab or other things to make it have some flavor...Crepes..whisk your eggs well and add a dash of cinnamon and artifical sweetner(I use splenda)..make sure to use a non-stick pan or use pam butter flavored(0 cal,0carbs,0fat)..put enough of the mix in to cover your pan..I usually use a small skillet...cook it like an omlette and flip over or in half..I usually make two with 2 eggs..Hard boiled eggs can be good by adding different spices and tuna with mustard..I'm sure you can add salmon, but I never tried it...Herbs and spices help me a lot to make it interesting...I poached a few eggs last week in chicken broth and it was great..You can even make a tuna omelette...Quiches are wonderful..I haven't made them in a few weeks, but use cooked ground turkey as your base and add your whisked eggs with seasoning..I usually add a bit of parmesan or you could use one of the allowable cheeses..Wonderful treat..You could just use the eggs and just drop in some shredded chicken breast for your quiche and add you herbs (thyme or rosemary..whatever u like) and some of the allowable cheese..Mix it up and make it fun...
