Anniebell, just saw the post about your weight flatlining! Too funny! Not your stall, your choice of word! We always say that about our tv and net provider when the boxnstarts making funny noises, and switching itself off for a few seconds---oh it's flatlining again!

I did general LC eating (low carb, weekends I had more carbs, but weekdays were stricter but not Stillman-ish coz I had melon every now and then - I didn't know the rules then) starting March 22, and yesterday I found out I lost 20 pounds! Well, that was because the scale dial wasn't on ZERO haha Imagine how bummed I was when I realized. It was off by 5, so I did lose 15.

Here's hoping for more weight loss with Stillman!

Stuffed to the brim with Deer Meat

My fiancee's good friend is a hunter, so he always gives us some ground deer meat from his "kill"

I hate hunting and I think its awful, but boy do I LOVE my DEER

My fiancee is so sick of me talking about tasty and juicy it is

It is one of the only meats I dont have to use any condiments on, period.

The natural flavor is so good. And its LEAN LEAN LEAN!! Yeah
I just ate two cooked patties and my pants are bursting at the seams.

I am glad I am full, because I am down in the dumps today, and when I am down in the dumps, I need either Grey Goose or Skittles Candy.. I cant have either so now I am like going to have to grab a "nerve pill"...

I see everyone has had an eventful day

I hope to see even a small tiny movement on the scale tommorow. I ate a perfect menu today, and I went to work out for 30 minutes ( just light but it means something dang it!)

I realized diet soda has less sodium than my diet Powerade , so I am thinking no diet powerade this week.

I felt self concious in the gym because I was so happy about my weight loss that I put on some shorts and a tighter fit shirt and I think its a bit too SOON for that, and I caught a glance of myself in the mirror and it was a nightmare. I was thinking, ok back to the baggy Tshirts and long pants for a little while Tanya!! too soon too soon

I have got to have some patience. I am disgusted with myself right now, I used to be the epitome of fitness, Everyone hated me (due to having so much muscle tone from athletics)..now I am like a black sludge! LOL

ok SORRY for this hot mess thread..... I just had to get off my chest....now let me go find my long pants and tshirt for the gym tommorow!!

A successful first day down, many more to come!

I'm amazed at how different my mood is today compared to yesterday...I really think it's because of all the water. I'm going to do some more research on the effects of mild dehydration & come back with more info.

The last time I did Stillman's I definitely wasn't eating enough meat (because I was trying to keep my calories low) and I definitely wasn't drinking enough water.

I'm confident that this time will be different because I know that lots of meat + lots of water = lots of weight loss.

Al, good call on putting pickle juice on tuna! I'm going to try it on canned salmon next.

Tomorrow I'll be having 2 large chicken breasts (cooked in the toaster oven in a shallow pool of broth), lean ground beef with chili powder and greek yogurt, and lots of WATER.

Good job everyone!!

Thanks Getting There! You're an inspiration!

Here in the Philippines there's a lot of flavors of tuna. But most of them non-LC.

Always so much fun to read in the morning. All the great posts and info that I get. Really pumps me up for the rest of the day. So deciding on doing a no-cheat April was a mistake what was I thinking??? What with my son's, my hubby's, and my own birthday along with Easter...not a chance. I will have to definitely be on track for a no-cheat May.

Putting away the scale today..nothing good ever comes from it anyway. Saturday will be my new weigh-in day so I will let you know what my losses were for the week.

akagal20 - I do the same thing...sometimes I mistake 5 pounds for 20 when it comes to my clothes but the mirror doesn't lie.

Amelie - on your loss!

All meat and water Thursday for me! Will report tomorrow on my success.

yeah my name is Tanya. That is right.
How did you know my legs are long? They are but they like to be meaty, which is not cool! LOL
During my triathlon days they were quite nice. My weight was up but it was nearly all muscle. I am more into a lean pilates look right now, not the track runner or olympic cyclist look!
However, these days, I will certainly take what I can get

I am extremely critical right now, and I wont be happy until my weight is lower and that " Butt jiggle" feeling is gone when I do Cardio Kickboxing class!

More meat today, my coffee tastes like a dream this morning.
I love my coffee!

Bodybugg

Do you any of you guys use the Bodybugg or have heard of it?

Its from 24 Hour fitness

I just got one and its so awesome, you wear it all day and it tells you how many calories you burn all day ( the real number, not the fake one on the cardio machine at the gym)

Its been helping me be more active

bodybugg® system | Get the Bodybugg Exercise Calorie Counter from 24 Hour Fitness

ITs expensive but I saved up a while and bought one

Ok I'm sitting here-stressed!! Seriously, I'm chewing gum, and I never chew gum! I have a meeting with that coworker that comes once in a while-the one who always comments on my weight. Seriously I never know what to say-I just stand there feeling majorly uncomfortable and going a mega shade of red!! And he doesn't do it in a mean bad way-he's actually a really nice, witty guy. I just don't think he gets it. He just says out what he thinks-in front of everyone!! I hope we don't have to go to dinner-the last time omg every bit I put into my mouth was watched! I wanted to throw up!
And ya know, if I hadn't have taken these extra hours, as a favour to my boss, I would be safely x thousand miles away!!!!
It's a gorgeous day here 28c, 78f!! I'm thinking I might go and sit in the sun to calm myself down. I feel physically sick!!!
Ok I feel better now getting that off my chest! I'm gonna go make tea--the Irish cure for everything!!

Now I sound like a stalker!!! i reckoned they were probably long cos you're 5'8!!!
Looooove Pilates and I can't speak highly enough of Callanetics if you wana change the shape of your legs-do it!!! I also found I bulked up slightly in the front of my thighs when I was doing a lot on the bike--i only noticed it when I got leaner(don't see muscles when they're covered in fat! he!) But they are flattening out nicely now!
