Not sure that I would eat it in the beginning, I would give yourself a chance to get a "clean" start on the diet so you can experience the maximum results. Stillman's is not for the fainthearted, but the results make it bearable. But if I chose to eat yogurt, it would be either fat free or full fat greek yogurt. I am hoping to be able to eat yogurt every once in a while at maintenance. I like to use greek yogurt as a sour cream substitute.

I have been using greek yogurt based "tziki" dressing on my chicken kabobs and finding that much more bearable! It hasn't been stalling me at all, I'm losing a pound a day so far. I'm not eating bowls of it mind you, just a few tablespoons (the brand I have is 2 carbs for 2 tbsp)

Another Zombie thread, lol.
Hey Scarlet...heads up...you might want to check the posting date for these question threads.
The original poster who asked the question...actually asked the question about yogurt in March of 2011, so more than a year ago. And she hasn't been back on any of the Low Carb forum threads since August 2011. |

I think that anyone who wants to participate in the forum is free to do so.
I got a copy of "the 14 day shape up" book off eBay over the summer and I found it really interesting that it incorporates many more foods than the original Stillman's quick weight loss diet. If someone really wanted to follow Stillman's and incorporate yogurt, then they could just switch to 14-day-shape-up. |
