I took a few bad home tests and just thought oh well it must be my diet... i wondered for a few months why my stomach wouldnt flatten out, and I even had to have a bridesmaid dress altered becuae of the gut!! I really shouldve known....

Becky; I ditto Al; sans the cream for results... and the nuts. I tossed out a jar of peanuts that was sabotoging me. I didn't miss them! I hate to waste food but even worse is damaging myself with it!

AL: Congrats on that 10 lbs. You really deserve it, having gotten back in the saddle!

I am at 146.4 today. My goal is 140 so that I can vascillate between 140 and 145... in case of social occassions or that rare "got to have it" moment. Which is extremely rare these days. I am thankful for the loss. I was 149 this time last week, and gained five lbs at the retreat. So I am very thankful for the progress.

Seems like the woosh fairy is busy on this board. Keep up the great work and don't get discouraged. I stayed in one place all of November before I began losing again. But I stuck with Stillmans thanks to this board. November seems so far away now!!

I wonder what the deal is with the big loses in March ... is the moon in the right place for us or what?

day 2: No extra loss still at 2 overall although it is my TOM so I am thinking that may have something to do with it?

Just a quick drive by:

Motivation
Look on the Bright Side
For every negative that consumes your happiness,
Affirm two positives that sustain you.
For every "should’ve" you wish you’d done,
Acknowledge something you’re glad you did.
For every loss that has altered your world,
Count from it something you have gained.
For every limit that has ever beset you,
Consider your possibilities.
You can’t always change the way things are,
But you can change the way you wish to see them.
Never stop looking
For the brighter side and beyond.

I am going to ask this as an actual question haha

Do you girls find you don't lose weight during your TOM or that the weight loss slows? or am I doing something wrong?

And now more questions!!!

Do you always drink all your water?

I know diet pop is bad but when I get a craving its what I go to in lieu of carbs, has anyone found that its holding them back to drink diet pop and crystal light?

Thanks for being patient with a newb like me

Yeah I think most people finds the weight stalls or goes up ever so slightly before TOM but then there's usually a whoosh afterwards! Think it's the same with any diet not just lc-it's just water retention. The most important thing is not to get discouraged and just wait it out!
I never drank the diet drinks during this-i'd be afraid they would give me sugar cravings! Eating blandy chick and tuna is the best way to go for me! Diet Coke has aspartamine and from reading the threads a lot of people say that is stalls them.

I started drinking aspartame free protein powder in my coffee in the morning instead of cream and sugar... I thought I'd share if there were any fellow coffee addicts out there, I managed to cut myself back to one cup a day but I need that cup to make it to work haha

Protein powder in coffee? That does not sound good!! I don't really drink coffee-but tea-I could drink it all day!! I do put a tiny bit of skimmed milk in it-(we always put milk in tea) -I know Still says no-but he would have to guarantee me a drop of 2 dress sizes a day for me to give that up!

I thought I would give it a try and the coffee covers the powdery taste so its all good.

I should start drinking tea again because I drink it black

Hello there... I am going to change my avitar to the 70 lb club, from the 60 lb club! As of this morning, that is how much I have lost since August 2nd.

1 oz cheese
3 HB eggs
2 diet pepsi's (does not stall me, just kills my neurons)

Have been exhausted lately, not sure why. Have been taking my supplements. I think it is because I am confused as to what to do with my career next...

McDonald's uses ground chuck. This is the exact fat to lean ratio. Ground chuck is 80% lean.
Thanks Al...what is chuck? Is it rump?
