Al- Do u ever dream ground turkey? U are sooo disciplined. WTG!!!!Adding cumin makes me think of curry and I love me some curry
we are happy you're here too!!! Try adding a bit of chicken broth to your cooked turkey and spices. (brings out all the flavor and undries it!!).. Not a real curry , but it counts for me! I eat a lot of ground turkey cause its the easiest for me. I do love me some grilled chicken but that requires exercise to cook up!

we can do so many different things with a little broth and a spice rack!! and I have added water when broth wasnt available. still good!

I love that. Food does not rule me anymore. Thats is, when Im on meat. I think Id still have issues when cheese, or brocolli, or peanuts are added.

The good thing about QWL and wine, is you only need one glass! I will however try to only have it if Im out. ts so tough when hubby has his glass every night, but I'll be strong(er)!!

AL, I am going to transition to QWL in a day or two. I needed to start with the 14 day so I wouldn't lose my mind, lol! Everyone is doing great.......it seems I need to stock up on some ground turkey again. I have a great recipe for homemade turkey sausage if anyone is interested; I cook them up in 2oz. patties and keep them on hand for snacks, plus my family eats them since I don't tend to buy processed meats. I actually haven't made them in a while so I think I will make some today.......

Good morning to all of you stillies, It is a wonderful sunny day here in Wenatchee, Wa. I am down .6 this morning and happy with that. momtocj7 I would love to have the turkey sausage recipe sounds good and handy. The crepe idea sound great too. I would love you to share any of your favorite recipies.
I need some help form my friends here, I just can not start my day without a good cup of coffee with some cream or half and half in it. Can't stomach it black. yesterday i went without it, had a painful headach all day and night. Which do you all think would be best to try cream or half and half. If it slows me down I will go without but maybe a tablespoon or 2 will not be a problem. What do you suggest! If i have it can i still be a part of april no cheat? I'll check back later, have a very good day you all.

Lately I have been making breakfast sandwiches out of 2 pieces of back bacon (50 cals for 3 slices and low fat, 0 carbs), a triangle and Laughing cow light (under 25 cals, .5 carbs a triangle) and an egg. It hasn't made me stall and its pretty filling.

Before I started making those I just had a chicken breast or tuna, I try to keep it plain otherwise I want to eat for the taste and not because I am hungry haha

Ditch the half and half and have regular cream, less carbs. it could be becuse I did atkins first but I will always pick fat over sugar, I think it was CC (I could be wrong here) who said yesterday that your body won't store the fat you eat as fat but it will store the carbs as fat.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
CC-Thanks for the WF peanut butter advice..I don't think the cravings are that much to eat actual peanut butter though..
Al-Great tip for the ground turkey..I am thinking of cumin, ginger, garlic to complete this ground turkey recipe..I try it towards the end of next week..This week coming is a chicken breast week..Thanks for the idea.
Mar-Yay! I am so proud of you..Awesome..I'm right behind you..
Cat-Oh no..Girl Scout Cookies..My little 3 year old niece came by the other week with 2 boxrs of those lemonaid cooks..Of course those are my favorite and she is so into sharing right now because she know that if she shares then we will share with her..She tried so hard to give me a cookie and I was so strong in telling her delicately that I would eat one later. She was relentless, but I was strong..That's ok..We all make mistakes..Just get back on your horse and ride again
Breakfast Ideas: At the moment I make crepes (takes about 5 minutes)..U can also make some salmon patties (baked)..They taste good, but taste better to me after they are done and you have refridgerated them for the next day..When u reheat in microwave is what I like with some mustard...Umm u can add like ground turkey or shredded chicken breast or anything really to ur crepe..Um I had a quiche week last week..U can make one with what ever meats and herbs in the inside and then just eat from it for 3-4 days..That's all I got at the moment..I try to make my repeatative meals interesting with different herbs/spices while using the same basic meats..
About that coffee..I'm an extremist so when I first started Stillman's a noticed that my wt loss was hampered, I looked over my foods and pinpointed the half and half in my coffee..Since coffee tastes like tar to me without it, I cut it out completely..I just drink water and dt dr pepper/cherry..Nothing else..
Well, I saw 149.5 this morning but it bounced back to 150 a few minutes later so hopefully by tomorrow, I can settle myself into the 140's and begin that decrease..Have a good day everyone..

I might know them, Wenatchee is small town. 360 days of sun. Mighty columbia River, Wenatchee river and lake Wenatchee and lake Chelan. You can see the Cascade mountains from anywhere in the city. It really is super beautiful. thanks for the creamer idea.
