I may have missed this, this weekend but are you doing 14 day shape up too? or do you just eat some veggies? I have been doing 14 day shape up for a week now (I think haha) it is alot slower than QWL but then again it doesn't have quick in the name lol

@Mar, yes I'm doing the 14 day shape up but trying to keep my veggies to broccoli, cauliflowe, and cabbage or a small salad. 14 day does work a little slower which is why I'm trying to see if I can do without the veggies most days but at least they keep me on track.

Hey everyone!!!
Doing a quick drive by Yesterday went well got back down to 148.8 as of this morning but...today has been ick! Not sure what is going on but I was starving!!!! So.... here's my confession - please help me or I may crash and burn and I am trying so hard to get rid of this weight I put back on this summer. I was doing great until..... I had a skinny latte - I know bad! What was I thinking???? Then I had a handful of peanuts, pecans, and the worst....an one of those small Atkins bar ![]() ![]() . I didn't prepare for my time away from the house thus my fall. I added it all up and my calories are at 790 - carbs are minimal except for the latte. So aggravated!!! I will flush with tons of water and try to stay away from everything else today. But, I need help. I have no idea what was going on with me! I have done so well. Now, I am moving on if someone will just quick me in the rear! |

Airport Ideas
Okay,
All of you who are QWL Queens/Kings I need some ideas. I will be flying out Thursday to a tournament for my son and will be on a plane or in the airport with a layover for 6+ hours. I will then be staying in a hotel for three days and traveling. Times like these are hard for me to plan for because I really have no idea what to bring. I am truly needing suggestions unfortunately, I am as you can imagine, burnt out on boiled eggs. So, I am desperate for some help here. I was thinking load up at the airport on grilled chicken and then eat nothing during the flight. But, what about at the hotel, etc.? Just wondering how you all would do it when you are traveling. I really don't want to be gaining this weekend. I plan to stick with it if at all possible. |

Welcome back GT!!!! what a pleasant surprise to log in this morning and read about nutella dough balls!!! truly must have been an amazing experience! Im applauding you on your one ball bite!!!
![]() ![]() Mom knew you couldnt resist! Hope your having a great time!! ![]() msgirl- about the airport, and even the hotel....tuna packets. i realize its not fun, but coming from a hardcore standpoint, thats what I would do. basically because Im cheap and the amount of grilled chicken Id have to buy at an airport restaurant would cost me a million bucks. You can't bring opened food from home on the plane, but I got away with my stash of tuna packets last time. ![]() BTW- If anyone has kids, Tangled was adorable. My son hated it. Kept asking for River Monsters. It was too girlie for him but we insisted he stay for family movie night. Poor kid. He can watch horrible fishing shows and monstrous dinosaurs, but he told me Tangled was gonna give him nightmares and to leave the night on. ![]() Last edited by aleriaaa; 03-30-2011 at 03:52 AM.. |

The last 2 days I have only gone down .2 a day and I have been really good, I went to a friends for dinner yesterday and she breaded the chicken and I even picked the breading off (it was about 8 grams of carbs worth of breading... yes i figured it out haha). I am getting frustrated but I am not going to get discouraged til Friday I promised myself I would give it a few days.

Good morning! Just a quick check in, work is insane today. Hopefully, I can catch up on reading later this afternoon. I'm down 3.2lbs since yesterday.
I'm still up about 1.5 since my detour this weekend but it will come off. I bought some boneless skinless chicken breasts on sale so my menu today is pretty much chicken until I start clucking. Have a great day everyone! |
