GT - I am just the opposite!!! If I don't weigh everyday I tend to say, "Oh well" Weighing everyday keeps me accountable! But, then I am a wee bit psycho!

With that being said, I do stay away from the scale if I know I have had too much sodium on any given day because I no without a doubt my spongy body will soak up the salt!!!

I agree!!!!! There's nothing like retail therapy!!! When you've lost weight that is

However, we have to watch out or we may have to take part in "Confessions of a Shopaholic"

Okay - down another .4 today. I guess that's the way I roll. It's weird I have lost .4 everyday for three days now

My body must be like me - totally in a routine!!

But, I am happy to report that since last Friday's weigh in - after TOM visited and a major cheat on the previous Tuesday - I have lost 5.4 lbs

The weekend is always the trial for me though. Because we eat out more than at home and it is almost always with other people. So, if I can make it through this weekend without any gains, then I will no I am back on the right track for good!!!

I have 3 social events with meals coming up - one tonight, one tomorrow afternoon, and one Sunday afternoon. Wish me luck!!!

Today - I will have egg whites all day and then try to pick around everything else while company is here, avoiding the carbs.

Tomorrow - I will try to order only grilled chicken and a HUGE diet coke.

Sunday - I will order grilled chicken/broccoli and focus on just the chicken - again another HUGE diet coke.

I also hope to drink 80+ ounces of water each day - like the good Dr. says!

I weigh myself everyday too. If I don't then I would gain. If the scale isn't moving then I know I need to cut back.

I miss Yam. She was the excersize queen. Well, tuesday I made it to 185 which is the ceiling for my normal weight range. But my body rejected normal. I gained a pound each the next 2 days and have been maintaining 187. What was it al that broke me through last time? a snickers bar?

I had been excersizing and sticking to plan big time except probably eating a lot less than I should have, and fell in a rut, couldnt budge the scale for nothing. Was at the store and had a weak moment. Next day, lost something like 6 pounds. I dont know??????
Speaking of chocolate, my DW LOVES chocolate truffles, but she says that the ones around here are only OK. So, for Valentines Day, I ordered a big box of imported truffles from like New York (fancy and kind of expensive). She was so excited. As for BBP.................score!

p.s. You are kicking some Stillmans butt. 148 by monday.

Wow 6 pounds in a day, You must have been exercising like crazy! I would be happy if I lost 6 pounds in a week.

Chocolate truffles really are the best! I would hope you scored after that! (Last year my ex got me a shovel for velentines day )

I tend to eat very plain, either Chicken (cooked different ways) all day or tuna (although its hard to eat tuna all day) and I sometimes have a salad at lunch because I am doing 14 day shape up right now.

I also drink coffee with milk every morning, I just can't drink it plain, if I find I am stalling I will cut out the coffee.

6 pounds in a day! Wow! Was it water weight from a cheat? If so, that happened to me before.

Now, what about SF gum?? Do you all chew it? I've been quite reliant on it...maybe up to 4 - 6 pieces throughout the day. Do you think that can hinder?? I love tridents Layers...but I might should cut down... the package says 2 carbs each.
Dont really chew gum so dunno! I've only had some in the last few months maybe, if I wanted sthg sweet-and I lose so slowly now anyway I have no idea! If you can drink Diet Coke or the sf syrups and they don't hinder then I reckon gum is prob ok.

Yep, it seems the more plainly I eat, the better I lose. No nuts, no cheese...not too much cream...

But Lo and Behold just when I think I've found the key....I end up having to tweak and try something new! It sure is a journey isn't it?? : )

I think the thing that drives me most crazy about LC....or VLC...

The DREAMS! For the past two days I have woken up with some slap-crazy pigging out on carbs, cheat dreams. That drives me nuts! Of course I'm so happy to wake up and know I'm still good!

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around the boards for the past few months and had been debating the idea of starting Stillmans back up. I have a long way to go but need to get serious about losing weight for my wedding and beginning a healthy life with my soon to be husband. Getting ready to stock up on my meat and I'll be using the QWL with 2 to 3 servings of green veggies a day and have a goal of losing 100 lbs. I did Stillmans when I first joined LCF and managed to lose about 65 lbs in about two and a half months so I hope to have a repeat performance I'll also be exercising about an hour a day mainly cardio.

I havent posted in a couple of days...I have been under the weather. I just know I have a sinus infection but for some reason I can't bring myself to go to the doctor. Do you ever feel like you are about to type a super long post. well here goes...I need to vent.

I got my new exercise program in the mail finally. I am so psyched to get started on it. I watched the first workout and then I went to take my pre-photos before I start. There aren't enough icons to express how I felt after I reviewed the photos. Do you ever see yourself in a different way then you really are? I don't think I am thin by any means but I guess I really had no idea how bad I had really gotten. My reality check was a real slap in the face. I am sad and disappointed in myself, mostly because I have had blinders on and refused to ignore the damage I had really done. Wearing larger shirts, buying stretchy jeans can hide so much, but the bikini did not. Tomorrow I start fresh with a new perspective, knowing that only I can make the changes I need to and that I am accountable for every single crumb that is placed into my mouth. Time to walk the walk.

OK enough self-pity and groveling for the day. I will try to check in tomorrow, but I am not sure if I will be able to.

Congrats to all those that have lost weight and don't give up to those that have fallen off the wagon.
