Believe it or not I use to use them (coz remember, I am dark skinned, think Halle Berry)...even had one at the house years ago...people use to comment on how well I looked... but I gave them up because all the scare stories freaked me out. I would prob have one if it was a special occasion though.

If I can maintain at 142 I will be on pure maintenance which is just modified Stillmans. I did weigh in on our March weigh in page found in the lc lobby...

You guys are soooo inspired, I haven't seen excitement on this board like this, for awhile!

Today; 3 HB eggs, one chicken breast... throughtout the day... haven't eaten anything yet but am working on those 6 lbs!

Hey ladies!!

Man, I feel like a meat/egg eating maniac, haha!

I've had today:

3 HB eggs made into egg salad
about 1 cup Greek yogurt w/splenda
about 1/2 cup shredded rot. chicken
1 beef hot dog (I checked, all beef!)
1 piece light mozzarella cheese

and for later, I'll have more egg salad!

I bought turkey bacon, tons of eggs, those beef hot dogs and string cheese...my cart looked weird!

I've eaten two grilled chicken sandwiches from Sonic (only meat) and a 3egg salad...

And two cups of coffee w/Davinci's and cream.

I'm cutting my daily swiss cheese out...hoping that will help me see a loss.

If I'm still stuck at 151-152, I'll attempt to::::::::gulp:::::::::cut my cream intake!!

I'm afraid to go lowfat...I'm afraid I will feel deprived...but I did lower it a little with the grilled chicken...I put mayo in my egg salad though....

Oh yeah, I ate some almonds this morning...but I'm not going to do that again for awhile. They were really good...olive oil and salted...a bag of 6 servings ended up being 2 servings! So, I have control issues with them!!

You all are doing so great...I'm feeling the urge to buckle down and get that scale moving thanks to your wonderful posts!!!

Quick update
Guess who lost 3lb this morning.
So it seems that bunless quarter pounder with cheese and pickle did me good.
Won't make a habit of it though, but nice to know.

Talking of burgers, I want to get a mincer so I can mince my own beef and make burgers. I do make my own sometimes with lean steak mince (ground), but I am never really satisfied with them...how would minced fillet steak work in a burger I wonder? I confess to liking the taste of the meat that you get in a Big Mac and it does not seem that fatty either...why can't I make one like that at home?

maybe your mince is too lean?nowhere on thier website do they give the fat ratio for the beef, only that it's 100% pure beef. Some searching on the web drew this as the main conclusion but the true ratio still remains a mystery.

McDonald's uses ground chuck. This is the exact fat to lean ratio. Ground chuck is 80% lean.

Peeps, I'm late, late, latey late. And I don't mean for work!!! I used to be really irregular, like I could go months and months without TOM-even had hormones to regulate it (the start of my mega-weight gain) but ever since low-carb I've been as regular as clockwork. Better not be little cupcakes rising in the oven!!!

Hey Becks!!! There were times when I would mix cooked chopped chicken in with my cooked ground beef. Lowering the fat always produced results, but I couldnt give up my beef permanently, thats for sure. Or I would have bacon wrapped chicken. So my tummy was still full but the meat still had some yummy fat taste!!

and about the cream. Im sure that dairy has something to do with my results this time. No way would i have lost, (or kept on plan) had I included it this time around. Cream is my pitfall. It had to go. I miss it, but after a week, it doesnt bother me to drink my coffee without it.
