I guess two of the possible babys daddys are coming around the area too. Thats why my mom agreed to let my bother put them in the back. Im surprised she agreed, but once she saw them, she kinda melted. She still wont let them in the house though. Maybe the kittens, if need be, but not the cat. The claws on her are crazy long..

Let the cat get used to its new environment for 24 hours before moving on. From another link.

It really depends on how good the relationship is with the mama. Can he pet her? If he can then moving her and the gang gently in one move might be possible. If he can't go near her it might be better to sneak the electric blanket either in or under the box, as she obviously feels comfortable in that location.

Al, I have some leftover milk replacer and some nursing bottles from the babies....just say the word and they can be in the mail. Let's pray mama stays and it all goes well, but you may as well do the research now and be prepared for plan B.

mama's very sweet actually. We can pet her, rub her tummy, but no one has ever tried to pick her up. She jumped up to sniff me, and thats how I found the claws to be way too long. Luckily I had jeans on. Im an hour away, so if they need me to pick her up , I can handle it. maybe he carries the box, and I carry mama, so she can see we're movingher with the kittys. I dont know. Witht he kids, its gonna be tough for me to get there tonight. I wish he would call me already!!!

Thanks for offering the nursing supplies, but you hold onto it! Im sure you'll need it again someday, since you turn no kitty away!! I'll see what happens tonight, and petco is opened til 9, if we need it.

EXCELLENT! She has already adopted you! This will be easy. See if she will stay in the box and move them all together, if she bails then you can do it the other way. Gloves and heavy clothing might be a good option.

let me know if you need anything and keep us posted on the progress of the new family.

Back to the topics at hand..........and mouth!

I KNEW there were more! Please make sure they are all nursing and take head counts often. Don't worry about the umbilicals or any afterbirth, usually the cords dry up and wear off. Mama may or may not eat any membrane leftover from the birth. If she doesn't after six or eight hours change the towels and dispose of.

i am chik thighed out, too; I had three today and even one with skin. i shouldn't have but the shoveling gave me an excuse, at this rate of excersize I should be at birth weight soon

I have a 4 year old 110 pound lab standard poodle cross he is my baby he actually had me up last night because him and the puppy worked as a team and got egg shells off my counter and spread them all over the house, he ate the egg shells and got sick, I also have a 3.5 month old reserve dog so she could be anything, she looks like she is a shepard terrier cross but with res dogs you never know haha

We are getting a blizzard this weekend and then maybe rain, oh to live in the north....

Would this be okay on Stillmans? I am not sure how Laughing Cow cheese fits in the diet, but it light cheese.

Hot Chicken Soup:
1 cup chicken broth
4 oz diced grilled chicken breast
1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce
1 wedge Laughing Cow Light Cheese
