Woohoo! Let's all get skinny this month and make the boys jealous!

You were all right- I did QWL faithfully yesterday and I woke up 1.5 lbs thinner. My ticker only says 1.2 lbs because I made it the day before yesterday, and yesterday I was heavier than when I made the ticker! And now I weigh less than on both of those days- ha!

We're going to have a blizzard here starting today. Snow day tomorrow! Too bad it couldn't get here early and prevent me from having to go to classes today.

Day 13. I did not exercise today because my OCD father got up wayyyy early for a job interview he has today. He paces around the entire house and won't let me use the treadmill in the basement b/c I would "be in his way". So I guess I'll just have to accept this as a break day. I really liked the streak I was on though! I can't get on it later because dad will be home by the time I get back from my classes and it's his "man cave", if you will...

Okay, so I'm trying to think ahead here- I want to have a goal for after I get to 110 lbs that's not just "maintenance". I do much better when I have a specific goal, so I was thinking maybe my goal should be to have visable abs.

I've always wanted them, but figured I'd never be thin enough to have them show- so I never bothered with ab exercises. But now that I know I will make it to my goal weight, I figure, why not?!

I'm not going to even worry about toning as I'm losing weight- that's a bit too much for me at once. But this will give me a great goal to tackle once the scale begins to make me smile.

O girl, how about some good ol' shoveling.......work your back, tum, legs and arms. Plus there's that added bonus of sweating your butt off in 11 degrees

I'm seeing the first signs of abs as I slowly melt. Our Christmas family picture came bsck and WOW no double chin AND a flat tummy while sitting HOLY COW Batman!!!

Going Back To Stillmans!

Hello everyone! I did Stillmans a few years ago and lost about 60 lbs in three months but life happened and I regained it, so I'm back to the tried and true method to lose 50lbs by May with Stillmans and exercise.

Really? Neato! Are you exercising or are abs magically appearing by diet alone? I confess I have a secret desire to shock people this summer with how great I look...and when they ask how I did it I wanna LIE my butt off! I'll say "Willpower". Ahahaha! Am I evil?

Em, the only excersize I eber did was walking two miles a day which I eventually got up to half of it jogging. Then when I started losing BF got a little self conscious and started weight training, I would koin him at nite for about twenty mins. of light two pound hand weights working on my bat wings and doing some leg lifts to get the thunder thighs reigned in. But after November we stopped......you can't move around too well in Carrhart coveralls!

Al, I do believe you will luck this one out-they are forecasting another 9 to 14 inches tomorrow-on top of the 5 or 6 we got today-but areas south will be getting less. Watch out for sleet, freezing rain and ice, tho.

LOL it's def a movie nite in for us, too....BF already told the powers that be that he will not be attending tomorrow so he can stay home and plow snow........and plow, and plow:stars.....so it will be vodka tonix for me and lotsa beer for him. Friday nite movie nite on Tuesday!

Hey all!
I seem to be stuck between 149 - 152...

But I'm happy here...I just don't want to go any higher.

I hate the thought of giving up my beloved CREAM!!!

I am coming to realize that maintenance isn't going to be any different from what I'm doing now...ok.

Maybe I should do a week or two of QWL...but I'm hesitant to give up my steak fat! : )

Thanks for the chuckles with the road signs...they were great...never seen 'em before!

Carry on!!!

^^Halloa, Bry! Holy moly- 12 lbs already?! Way to go!!!

Ha, my university finally cancelled- SNOW DAY!!!

So, my darling mother tripped me up a little yesterday night. In anticipation of the blizzard she bought a ton of junk food for my sister and her friend (who stayed over night). Not wanting to forget about me, she bought diet sunkist (I love that stuff, but not on QWL!) and porkrinds (smelly, but tasty). What could I do? We're snowed in, I was bored, and I wanted to show her I appreciated the special effort she made in choosing low-carb snacks for me. So I drank the pop and had a couple servings of the porkrinds. I know, I know...bad. But it's not too terrible- I only gained 0.2 lbs from yesterday. AND, I got back to exercising today. I promise I will be QWL faithful for at least the next week because of the party on the 11th!

I have exactly 10 days to lose 6 lbs. I'm gonna do it!
