Al, funny you should mention this...I was looking for it, too. Nobody makes a full fat greek, although Fage does make a fatter two percent. I settled for Stonyfields non greek organic full fat....delish!
Great idea! I have often thought of the cast iron pan just never picked one up. Wish my grandma couldve passed down a well seasoned one. oh well.

I decided not to do yogurt just yet.... Im ready to go lean (strike that. I am going lean) and get this weight off for good. Then I'll follow CC's maintenance plan!! and hope the weight stays off!!

Have you done pure Stillmans for your entire loss? I was reading some of the QWL book today and it appears it is okay to try different variations of fat/protein???

At any given moment I could look down at my torso/stomach/legs and see something satisfying instead of just seeing chub. It was a thrill to wake up, pull back the covers, and go "Oh yeah- I'm thin! Today's gonna rock because I'm finally thin!".

One of the best things was knowing I could easily fit into my clothes, and even my younger sister's clothes. They would pull up without me having to squish my fat a certain way or suck in lol. And it gave me a thrill to know that I looked great naked or near-naked too. If I was suddenly invited to pool party or something similar I loved that I had the freedom to just throw on a cute bikini without even one tiny worry about how my body looked- in fact, I dug the fact that many other females there would be envious.

The list of positives goes on and on...

And that is why I'm continuing on, even if it takes me to June or longer to lose these 15 atrocious pounds of anti-self esteem.
Wow! This really hit home!!! Life WAS extra good and everything was manageable when I was at goal. Its been a rough road, but we know the way back!!! Lets do this!!! (and congrats on those 2 pounds!! Keep it up!!!)

We better lose it before June though!!! Just sayin!!

I dont remember reading about that! I lost all my weight down to 113 on meat. Most of the time was lean/Stillmans,(the first 6 months) but there were many days of ground beef and ribeyes after that. I was totally able to control the maintaining or losing at that point by having a lean day or a fattier day. It was pretty cool.

It did take me 9 months in all, (which is waaaaaaaaaayyy too long but I was pretty satisfied at 120, and every pound after that was just an extra plus! I never did make it to 110..but Im thinking now that that is too thin for me.

So...Im on my way back down to 115.

So OMG you guys- I met someone at the party! We are going to see each other again on Monday!!

And the best part? He has recently (within the last 3 months) converted to low-carb living and has lost 50 lbs. He is now definitely in the normal/healthy weight range and he is super cute! This will be fun

Just reading a thread about "carb-face" and everyone was complaining (it is a really funny thread!) about their puffy faces while eating carbs and about how they love their cheekbones now. I really wish I had carb-face. I could slice things with my cheekbones(well maybe not quite!) That is the only thing I really hate about lc and weight-loss, my face has become so thin, even in the last few pounds. I def looked better (in the face only!) at about 150. I'm not kidding.

My face is the first thing to plump!! Im very cheeky right now but when I had lost the weight, my face did look much thinner than the rest of me....what are we to do about it?

still fat as ever lol...can't stay away from my bff...red and white wine hahahaha. seriously though my friends have something going on every night and there is always alcohol. i need to like lock myself up to quit the social drinking. also just moved in with mom and dad and mom is a carb monster!! she eats nothing but starchy carbs and she is always asking if i want some even after i tell her about my diet! literally all they have here are chips, tortillas, bread and sourdough bread and i can't stay away! wow...i just blamed my diet failure on everyone else lol...can you say denial??

Hi rebecca!! I would have to suggest to keep the wine (or try CCs vodka tonics) and lose the carbs! Lets do this meat thing and get it over with. Im gonna be eating tuna, chicken and possibly eggs for snack. I bought 4 dozen the other day, but when I did Stillmans the first time I didnt include them.

So no sourdough for you! I'm holding you to it!!! Think of it. You could be in the 160's next week!! and the 150s the next! I believe in this program, we just have to put our minds to it and get it done!!! The tortillas will be there when we get to goal. Lets think thin!!!
