Howdy, Gals! Don't think I forgot about you. . I think about everyone and send good meat wishes your way. .

I'm sticking to plan as much as possible. My stomach has been doing a number this week. . I think the stress is eating me up! I have some issues to take care of but then I plan to be back in full force. I'm taking a little dinner break right now. . (ginger chicken. mMmmm) so I thought I would check in.

You guys are chatty. . Love it. .love it. .

Im in an unhappy relationship with my boyfriend. I kissed girls and some touch and feel but i am looking for someone to kiss and touch and be intimate with. I like to have a drink and i do smoke. I find women beautiful. and would love to be with one.

aside from the spelling errors, the more scary thing here is that this person is in a remote small farm town where the man are manly and, apparently, the women are manlier...

Dunno about London girls, but Irish girls do!! Actually I like Maybeline-cheap and cheerfull! Oh and love Benefit-adore the packaging! And use YSL Everlong mascara! Foundation has always been a problem for me-I'm so pale and I've dry skin,so I just use Dermalogica Sheer Tint-I've got clear skin and not really any lines(yet!) so it does thhe job! Now ye know!

never saw Benefit-don't know if we have it here. Love the Rimmel nail colors...
I'm using Lancome mascara but the brush drives me nuts. Foundation, I used to do it and then powder but it's so much work, Lancome has a moist powder like compact style that comes with a foam pad, no need for concealer or powder!

Good Morning everyone.....
I'd like to join your challenge group. I lost 60 lbs 4 years ago on...gulp...*******. I went back to my old habits, and well, you know what happened.
Anyway, I have to get back to basics because that's the ONLY thing that worked for me. It becomes boring on a daily basis, but as I recall, the sheer pleasure from stepping on that scale every day and seeing a loss sustained me through losing 60 lbs in 5 months those 4 long years ago.
So count me in.....I'm up for losing some major weight.

Thanks for the welcome, Getting there
Yes, ******* KE plan is essentially Stillman's diet. It's the only thing that ever helped me, so it only makes sense to do what works, right?
I'm in awe of your weight loss. It gives me encouragement to see that. I MUST get this weight off. I'm beginning to have health issues. I feel I've cheated fate long enough. I want to feel better.
Thanks again for the welcome

weighed myself after day 3 of stillman's and i'm down 1.4lbs...i would have liked a bit more but it's a start considering i've been in a very stubborn stall for almost 2 months now. i'm eating very little and wondering if adding a few calories would bump up my weight loss

Oh that question!!! I dunno, I wish I did! Mine are always pretty low, but I find anytime I up them I do gain-and that scares the hell out of me! But a lot of people think it's good to keep the body guessing-and people do that here by adding some fat for a couple of days. As I say I wish I had the answer!

YMMVand WTG on the loss....heck, I've been stalledd for about four months now.......sometimes you have to be content with just not gaining.

I just finished the first half of Gary Taubes', "Why We Get Fat"... It's divided into two parts...the first part explains why the thought "eating more calories than your body can burn makes you gain weight"...isn't accurate.

It is easier to read than GCBC, but it's still hard for me to process it all...makes me feel pretty dumb.

I also realize how very influenced I have been by health theories that are not so true.

I indulged a little today (after eating steak at home) I went to Chick-fil-A and had a side salad with a little ranch dressing and sesame seeds. I like their salads...a little cheese and brocolli and a small tomato...it was nice for a change.

Welcome to all the new posters! It's great to read your experiences!

After all the times I have posted the link to his article in the NY Times "What If It's All Been A Big, Fat Lie?"

the light bulb goes off!

Welcome to the realization that the Paleo diet is the true way humans were meant to eat!!

I do love being a meat eater...but I am having teeth problems...and it's getting really hard for me to chew my beloved steak!

I'm going to try and see the dentist tomorrow...I'm hurting where I got a crown a little while back. Last week on the opposite side of my mouth I had some fillings replaced on the top and bottom. The top filling feels a little high...and I'm wondering if that has somehow affected the crown on the other side??

I can not afford a root canal...after paying for the crown AND the filling replacements...i am just sick about it all. My mouth is throbbing right now....

Sorry to be a whiny butt...
