Today I made pizza using a recipe for "oopsies" which is basically Atkins style bread but without the cheese using light mayo instead. I topped with 3 tablespoons of pasta sauce, extra light mature cheese slices ( I have mentioned before that I have always used a little light cheese with no probs) and then sprinkled with chopped fresh basil. It made 3 "very" generous size portions. Too, too good!

I have just taken some turkey breast mince out of the freezer...tomorrow I am going to make a turkey lasagna with it. I know I will have to season it far more than I did when I made it with beef...sure it will be good though.

I agree! And(for my rant!!) I hate that Atkins is the poster child for LC. I mean really- bacon fried in butter???? That just can't be good! I said that once on an Atkins thread-well just lets say I won't be anyone's Xmas card list!!

For the record I don't think QWL is that healthy,it was never supposed to be followed for very long-but at least it won't clog your arteries!

Now, rant over.....it's just Im fed up that when I say I did LC to lose the weight people always go--oh you did Atkins.........ok rant def over now!

Oh yeah Tracey! I have her mat workout DVD. I do it a lot-i liked that she said it would shrink you! And give you a dancers body. I'm not sure it's really that good. Callanetics or Pilates are better.
I'm not sure I'd get her dance DVD, she is really bad at explaining things, she never tells you to change arm or foot and her rep counting is way off-never the same amount on each side! And I read the reviews on Amazon about her Dance Cardio-maybe that's not the beginner's one-and they all said she never explained anything and was dancing in her own little world! So Im thinking for my 2 left feet-nope!

OK! I've had a major scare. I have a tenant who looks very thin. She must be in her 30's. I went to her house the other day to drop off a key and she was in her house clothes. I noticed her upper arms had skin hanging down almost to her elblows. Then I noticed her stomach. She was wearing sweatpants. It looked like she had a bit of a bulge down around her hip area. I didn't get to get a good look, because, well, I didn't want to be obvious. Guys, I'm 56. I'm trying to lose a significant amount of weight. Will my skin hang like this? I thought maybe she lost weight really, really fast. I don't want skin hanging around like that. Right now, I don't have that. Is this going to happen to me?

Actually she does everything in her own little world!! Sometimes she looks as though she's having a little too much fun by herself! and seriously when she does leg lifts on the mat she looks as tho she's in a porn movie!

I feel ok but it will hit me tomorrow when I try and get out of bed. I did a boot camp in July 2009...I swear I could hardly walk after the first day...we trained for 15 hours a day...I don't know how I got through it but I'm thinking of going again, I was sooo strong when I came back.
