OO. I'm speechless! Thank you guys.. for always making me feel so welcome. . It is 9:52 and I feel great!! Satisfied and not even thinking about cheating. . that's a great feeling - I haven't had it for a long time. .I stuck to plan and had plenty of "play" room. . I get 29 points a day and as of 8:00 tonight I still had over 20 to go! So.. against my better judgement. .I'm having a few beverages. . but I am counting them and will not go over my limit .scouts honor. hugs to everyone. .

Al.. we now have to do this. . Gwn is back . it's time! I'll expect to see you in the morning!

Portion control. (Dont ask me how to control it though.:blush

Sticking to a plan, or jumping right back on a plan once you fall off. (this is the way Im currently maintaining, but my maintain weight is between 120-135 - big spread)

Never eating a carb again. Like thats gonna happen!

If we follow the words of the great doctor Still, he would say eat what you want (carbs included) within your proper calorie limit (which he estimate low). If you indulge or go over one day, make sure you eliminate something or go under your calorie limit that week. I've been here over a year now, but I dont think anyones ever tried it. I certainly cant do it. Counting anything stinks!!!

But IM2, Im so glad those points are working for you!!!! You sound like a new breath of fresh air! Im lovin it. Your spirits are up and that makes me happy!!!Keep it up!!

Gwn- Dont be too down for putting on a little extra weight! We have all done it. Once I get a taste its too hard to stop! You were sooo good for soooo long and got to experience the trip of a lifetime! I do know exactly how you are feeling though!! I did well the first few days of vacation, then gave in a little and a little more, and got home and finished myself off! I went up over 20 lbs. You will get back down again and with the quickness just like before!!!

I think its a great idea to start off with Atkins, and ease your way back to meat. (if thats your plan) Im not gonna lie, it will be tough to go back to Stills, but I think we all have what it takes to drop some serious pounds!!! We have each other and we have the rules. Thats all we need!! We will rock this once again!!


So..I plan on losing 10 lbs by January 1st! Im not greedy or anything.. lol.. So mark my words peeps. Im 133 today and by the end of this month I will be 123. I only have 2 days where I can mess up bad and Im going to try really hard to do the "taste test thing". Im also making the no leftovers rule for myself too.

and then the other side of AL chimes in...because the naughty side just cant get it together these days......I think ive complained before...but 135 is much easier to maintain. I can go from 115 up to 125 in the snap of a finger, but 130's seem to linger even with the cheats. I dont feel comfortable at 135 though and I dont like the way clothes fit, but Im wondering if my body likes the extra weight. IDK.... (I could just be thinking of excuses to not get on plan)

So my good side slaps my bad side and now Im ready, willing and able, and sooooo looking forward to my tuna lunch. oh joy.

Morning, Al!

Haven't figured my menu out for today but I guarantee its gonna include some hot sauce and tuna!! I'm gonna scour some of my old recipes to see what I can come up with. I really think this is the answer to my latest anxiety. . My kids will get home cooked meals and I can join them (within reason). . Really, if there's one thing I've learned from Stillmans, .. Meat is the answer and Carbs do "weigh us down". Plus. I think this is teaching me more about portion control. I really don't want to go on and on (and if I offend anyone, please tell me) but I want to comment on my new mentality.. my last round with WW was all about getting the most of my point allowance but using them on stuff like popcorn, breads, potatoes, etc. . This time around.. I understand that the more of those I eat. .the hungrier I will be. If I still to meat and avoid sugar,. .I think I'll do fine with a little good grain/veggie here and there. You'd be proud. . I ate Chicken and eggs yesterday.

OK. . enough of that. .How is everyone else doing? Any plans for today

GT. .Now I'm having sympathy keyboard problems. my M and my O are sticking! Wonderful. .Me thinkgs my children may have somethign to do with it. . the Keyboard is awfully sticky and we all know it couldn't have been me eating anything sweet! Dang. .

Gwn, Beck, Makeme. . . Party starts now! I'm thinking of shaking my thing all over the mall today. . . always good for a couple thousand steps. .

Started to wear my pedometer yesterday. . Did 6,000.. gotta get it up to the 10,000 a day again. . I also dusted off my walking DVD's (leslie Sansone. .).. mind you, I said dusted.. they haven't quite made it to the player . .but I'm thinking about it. . Why rush into these things. .

I really would like to bike but the weather is just a bit brisk for me!

Look at you go! Now that you can have all the other stuff, you're not! Thats a big deal! WTG making the right choices!!

Are you gonna do the weekly meetings? (like weighing in with everyone?) I saw they have online membership, but I think getting up on that scale each week would make me do better. (but oh so scary )

I dunno!!! Even when I go off blan my cals are aways bretty low and I gain big-time!! And I really feel it in my waist. I think for me carbs are bure evil.........bity they taste sooooo much better than tuna, chicen and eggs!!!

I did m Callanetics DVD esterday and today. Dunno how beoble get those results...but they do, I've seen the bicks...it's all stretching. And I am soooo not subbble!! It would be embarrassing if I went to a class!!! Anyway my backside hurts from that "bretzel" move!!!

I picked up a 3 lb roast and a bunch of stew meat. Its a little higher fat, but I think thats what I need for a few days to get back on track. The crockpot is gonna be working overtime tomorrow! woohoo! I can already taste it!!!
