Thanks AL! I'll have to read that about 10 times to really understand it!

I need someone to put it on an elementary level for me!

I'm bored...and dreading going back to school...bad combination...

It's probably a good thing it takes me 3 days to get back into ketosis ... after a big cheat. That helps me not give in...

I was hoping someone would translate too!!! His new book that just came out is supposed to be a much easier read. I'll probably end up picking it up!

GT we have Cadbury but limited.....just the lower end stuff, like the bars and such. I'll never forget the ferry to London from Amsterdam and they had the ginormaous Toblerone bars..........and the white vliffs, a sight to behold.

Well, MMS has not checked in on the Seven jeans so I have already bid.....for 15.00US on a new without tags it's a gamble I can afford. The J brand for 29.00 shall have to wait.

In honor of the great director Blake Edwards' passing this week I had the foresight to buy the original Pink Panther movies on DVD...........we are watching the first and original tonight.

Movies were so......classy back then.

Good night, my skinnies, and a Happy New Year.

Good morning and Happy New Year, everyone! Who's starting a new thread? I, for one, need a fresh start. My tummy is finally (after two days of watching what I eat but not doing Stillman's) flat. Time to start afresh today! SO excited! I need a great new year. For several reasons, 2010 was HARD. I am determined to lose the 15 pounds I need to lose to fit back into my Sevens, and I am determined to make this year the best one of my life. Tall order but "Whoo-hoo! Here we go!"

Hello, all. I gave up in the fall because no matter what I was doing I gained. And I was doing SO well in the spring! Looking back at other years it seems that fall is my season where I have (always?) gained weight.

2 possible causes:
For whatever reason my body wants to gain in the fall, because I'm really a bear and I need the fat to hibernate (translation: I have SAD and I'd rather skip winter and there must be some kind of metabloism glitch that goes with it)

Or,

Now that I'm working and don't have the time to sleep, there is nothing I can do about this weight gain because weight loss is tied to good sleep.

I'm hoping for number one, because I literally don't have the time to sleep. I have had good success in January to August, so hopefully I can add to the 12 lbs lost last year and get skinnier overall! (lost 30, gained 18).

New start weight: 180

I missed you guys!

Morning, Gals. . I'm back.. I started the new thread before reading and catching up. . Sorry. .some of the names were awesome. . We'll have to keep them in mind when we start another one. . . I gotta find a new Avi and jump in the shower. . I have a lot to do today. . Cooking up a storm so I'll have no excuse this coming week. . That being said, I did terrible the past few days. . Everything and anythign. . My jeans are tight but I'm gonna force myself to wear them today. . I need that reminder why it is so important not to lose control.

New job is HORRIBLE. I would have made out better staying on unemployment, because of broken promises of warm leads, and then when I miraculously DO sell something with what little they give me, they cut down my commissions!! I'd go on about all the other garbage they throw at me and the other reps, but suffice it to say that the best reps are actively looking for other jobs (self included!)

Grandbabies!! what can I say? My son in law is starting a new job in two weeks and has to be gone for three months, and asked me to fly up there to stay with my daughter for a while to help out, but that BLASTED JOB won't let me work remotely any more.

Otherwise they are cute and growing and I will have to buy the iPhone 4 to Skype with them, now that my daughter can Skype. Turns out my laptop doesn't have a webcam.
