Just did some more Christmas shopping online. Got Daddy a nice jacket for playing golf, got my husband a couple of "stocking stuffers" (book and DVD). I'm slowly getting this done! And yes, I AM procrastinating my exercise (I kind of have a stomach ache, a small one, which I hope goes away soon, because I HAVE to work out!).

Im Back!!

I had so many pages to catch up on!!! You girls are the best!! Lots of losers out there but thats what we like!! Special round of applause to IM2 and GWN! You two are melting!!

CC- I loved the joke! I have been wrestling kids!! 2 birthday parties. Its been like christmas 2 weeks early! Thanks to you guys, I'll be searching dishes all day. Before the kids came along, I was always very fond of asian tableware. No brands in particular, just soup/rice bowls, sushi dishes, tiny tea pots, soy sauce dipping cups, and saki cups of course!!! I love plastic chopsticks, wooden chopsticks, marble chopsticks! I used to love sitting on a pillow and eating at my coffee table!

Gwn- that azalea pattern is beautiful!!

Matter a fact, I love all dishes. Even my corelle!!!


GT- Thanks for sharing pics!! I know its not gonna stop you, but I see no reason to get down to a two! You are tall and thin and looking fabulous! No wonder you get to buy all those cute clothes!!! Im jealous!!!

IM2- Soooo glad WW is working out for you! (and thnks for thinking of me while Ive been gone) You were right. I have been up to evil things, with no signs of stopping. :blush: I need a smackdown, thats for sure.

Becky- You have been on meat for 5 months and I am inspired!!! I want to feel like you feel,once again!!! You get a round of applause too!! I know your contemplating taste tests for Christmas and if you do I know you will jump back on with the quickness. So enjoy it for the moment but jump back on. Letting too many days go by totally sets you up for disaster. So if you decide to take the plunge, learn from my mistake. You are our meat champion!!!

I think Happy Sam,Vee, and milo had some questions so I'll ramble for a bit...

When I was a successful Stillmanite... I skipped breakfast, had coffee. Lunch was tuna (the big family sized pouch), dinner was two chicken breasts, or two porkchops or 2 lbs (sometime 3) of ground turkey. Sometimes another chicken breast for late night snack. Anythime I was hungry or my mouth just wanted to chew, or I had nothing better to do, I stuffed it with chicken or a couple spoonfuls of ground turkey! or any other cooked meat on hand! Cook up lots of meat. Ground turkey seems to be the easiest for me to keep on hand at all times.

In the begiinging I used dry seasoings, mustard and hot sauce. Over time, I started eliminating them. Not totally for weight loss, but my taste buds just didnt need it anymore. Just Meat made me happy!

I never ate any cheese or eggs because in my mind the least fat the better for quickest results. The downside to no fat is fatigue, so when I didnt feel that great, I included fattier meats. I was able to continue to lose on fatty meats but at a much slower rate. I honestly ate as much as I wanted. I was one of the lucky ones where it didnt matter.

Since you are just starting out, I would follow Stills rules exactly and keep it as lean and clean as possible. Your appetite will dissolve if you keep it as close to zero carbs as you can. Gt was right, I would give it 3 days. You will be blown away by the intital weight loss in the first 2 weeks. I think mine was 16 pounds, and there are so many other unbelievable but true losses out there from our peeps.

Dairy stalls lots of people, so if you can do without, load up on mustard instead. Not that cheese is oh so bad, but the tastier you make the meat, the more you will want to eat. So you wont know if you are really hungry or not. Theres only so much plain chicken breast a person can handle at one sitting before you push it away and say BLECK, thats enough of that!

I want you to succeed and this thread was built for success. We have all successfully followed the plan and are much better now because of it!!!

Meat is the answer to all my problems. Hopefully it can help you too!!!

This sounds like something I would do which is why I cant eat eggs. I can eat the whole dozen and not be full. I would suggest, sticking to meat and eating as much as you need for a few days. It may be pounds and pounds of meat, but have no fear, you will just pee it out.. and by the end of the week the portions will be in better control. I dont even think you need the fiber or gluccoman. If we can fix it for free isnt that better!! Give Stillamsn a whirl and if somethings not working, then tweek.

That's the really strange thing with me (yes peeps, I know, not the only one!!) but I'm always hungry for breakfast--I couldn't just drink a cup of coffee. The rest of the day I'm never really hungry, but really in the mornings. Breakfast is usually eggs-thee' no way I could stomach tuna!!
