To get started
Hey everyone! I'm an Atkins 1994 girl, who wanted to try 1972, but I've found that I've gained six pounds, even on relatively lower carbs AND running.
As a college student, could Stillman's be done easily? What are some staples that could help me get started? I want to lose 10 lbs, and healthily and with exercise. I also take a multi-vitamin regularly. I understand it's no carb, low cal, no fat, but what kind of cottage cheese do you guys eat? Doesn't that have sugar? I'm confused, and don't have the book.

Hi Crystal! Its basically meat! Lots of tuna, turkey and chicken breast, a few eggs, and any other lean meat. Stillmans allowed a few extras in his diet, like cottage cheese and even ketchup. (but I never understood why except to keep sane! lol) A lot of us have used mustard and hot sauce. Check out the sticky for QWL. Are you able to cook at school at all? If not, hopefully they have a nice grill in the cafe.
Sorry we missed this for a few days. Jump into the November thread if you have more questions! We'd love to hear more from you!! |
