Yeah I've just started saying it to everyone! I don't care any more!! I used to be embarrassed bringing tuna and eggs with me to work, or asking for something in restaurants!!Now I don't care!! I like the way only eating meat makes me look so

Well I do like eggs....if they are WELL hidden in chocolate cake!!
![]() Actually, even as a baby I would not eat eggs. I have tried several differnt ways of fixing them but nope - make me gag ![]() Dieting would be easier if I did like them. So I will just have to stick to meat |

Today I ate...
A hamburger patty Leftover steak from last night's trip to Outback A 12 oz ribeye from Lonestar Steakhouse (and some brocolli) Twas a good day... AL, you are a jewel! I love reading your stuffs! I too enjoy my coffee w/cream...I also put splenda in my coffee...one day I might give that up, but I enjoy it so much now. Swebb, your 60 is so encouraging to me!!! I'm so proud of you! GT, last night the server couldn't believe it when I ordered the PORTERHOUSE...and ate the WHOLE thing!! hahaha! I told her I could eat another one! haha My sister asked me if it bothered me when people note the way I eat...but I don't care because I feel so good eating this way. I'm telling ya...I've done LC on and off since 1997ish...but I've NEVER felt this way! I attribute that to going mainly meat...and I went mainly meat because of this awesome thread! I have joined the zero carb place too...there are people there who only eat meat and only drink water. I'm not sure I'll make that leap...but if it puts you in an even higher zone than what I'm doing now...who knows what the future holds!! : ) My sister asked me last night, "how much meat do you eat??" haha... I need to brush up on my facts of why it's a healthy way to eat...i have a feeling I might have to defend my carnivore ways soon! The secret's getting out! You all sleep well tonight!! |

They also talk about "pemmican"... I havent' fully investigated it yet but it sounds like some kind of dried meat that would be nice to have in a portable way... |

![]() I can totally agree and support the all meat (and fat) lifestyle. I stuggle with getting rid of the artificial sweetners (ummmm Crystal Light) though. I too have never felt this way and felt so good. When Im on meat I am mentally and physically in check! woohoo for everyone that has benefited from it! I wish I had the tools and the time to make pemmican. i would love to try it. Maybe we could could venture in together down the road. |

ZCers also eat dairy, but I find that cheese, in particular, triggers the need foe more and more cheese. Unfortunately, I have to stay away...
and about eggs...Im enjoying them frequently now mainly because its something new, cheap, and easy to prep and eat. I dont particular like the way my bathroom breaks are. I find that my body runs better when they are not included. I may end up saying goodbye to them soom. Bring on the PORTERHOUSE!!! I shouldnt be drooling at the thought of steak at 8:30 in the morning.. oh yeah. guess Im hardcore now. lol |

I forget what the ratio is but you need pounds and pounds of meat to make a couple ounces of pemmican. Some people have built their own dehydrators to make a lot at once. I guess its worth it though because the stuff lasts forever.
Who needs cookies when we can have a jerky swap! |

you know... i could never leave you girls for good without telling you. Its really tough to stay away even its its only a few days. It upsets me to not know what happened to some of our old friends. I hope they are all well, but then I worry that something terrible happened to them.
Please, if you feel its time to move on, at least let me know that you are OK!!!! I wont be upset! just reading back on some old gwn and nermo threads...sigh |

I keep telling myself that I will never be one of the people who put it back on.![]() ![]() ![]() Actually I hate reading posts from people who say I've come back and put the weight-and more-back on--it really makes me wanna cry!
