heeeey everybody. i did well yesterday, but think i'm taking in too much sodium. i tried some beef jerky wow was it salty, but good. i had a craving for some rye bread and butter. really i just wanted to eat some bread or cake or danish or something, so i opted for the.... or something and had a cup of cottage chesse w/vanilla & sweetner. it really hit the stop & stopped my cravings.
i'm looking forward to what today will bring, and feeling even better, and getting stronger, making the right food chooses.

this afternoon i have a dentist appointment to repair the tooth that i cracked while i was having a peanut crunch feast..........

stay strong group, we can do this.

So I stayed home from work today...because honestly I'm tired..and needed to!!

Hi everyone. I have been easing myself into Stillman's the last couple of days but today is my first pure day...well I say pure...:blush:I did eat some Salmon but I do not count that as a cheat because it has never stalled me in the past, infact I lose quicker eating fish. So a good day so far.

makemeslim- I had to ease myself in too. I had 2-3 "pre-pure" days. I think that's a good way to do it!

So far today I've had two hardboiled eggs. I feel a little guilty because I drank a diet pop and a sugar-free rockstar this morning. They don't stall me (I don't think), but they do bloat me a little. Only water the rest of the day!

Will stop and get more lean ground beef for tonight.

Can we have lean pork baked? I have 3 slim sliced lean pork steaks in the fridge. I either cook and eat them or toss them out. Stillman says nothing about lean pork steaks?Please answer today if possible. Thanks!

Lean pork should be fine.... in fact, there is a recipe that involves lean pork on page 4 from IM.

Well . .well..well.. Where are all my peeps, tonight? I just got home and boy am I tired! Hit up two stores (double coupons!). .combined. I got $350.00 worth of groceries for $65.00!!! That included 6 bags of Tyson Grilled Chicken which normally sell for $9.99 each. . so I got all those groceries for the price of my chicken. I was geeked when I got home! The best part was I had coupons for the flavored Tuna so I was able to snag a few of those, too! I'm waiting for Gortons to go on sale now. .

OK..so I did pretty good today. .had some burger and hot sauce for breakfast and a chef salad for lunch.. no dressing.. I did not eat before I went shopping cuz I left right from work. I ended up having some mesquite smoked turkey breast from the deli so I hope the salt doesn't come back to haunt me. Kids have a football game in the morning so I'll have to run them around. . I have a date with hubby to watch the Michigan/MSU game tomorrow but I may pass. . he wants to go to Hooters.. Me. . not feelin it so much so I may stay home and grill my own wings! I dont' need skimpily dressed gals in spandex to serve me wings.. I can serve them to myself.. MMmm. .maybe I'll bust out some spandex myself...Thats the ticket. hubby can stay home and I'll serve those wings. . Go State!

Hi IM! Good morning! There is a game between OSU and Indiana State today! Great job on your grocery shopping.... my mother is very good at getting those bargains as you did using coupons and taking advantage of those sales.

The game is at Columbus today and I'm staying away on game days! Learned that the hard way years ago after being stuck in traffic!

Hi everyone!!!! I have to admit, I was planning on starting over again "tomorrow". I brought some bad stuff with me to work today... I logged in to check on my peeps and saw that taylorclaire just lost 10 pounds! that is so exciting!!! It can be that easy!!! So, I'm gonna toss the junk and stick with tuna.

One of my buddies at work (who is a personal trainer on the side) mentioned we should start weighing me on Fridays..I thought nothing of it because we always talk diets and stuff, but he brought it up again on his way out last night. I asked him if he was trying to say I gained weight?? and thats exactly what he was doing. Im not upset or hurt. Plus, I pulled it out of him. Hes been really proud of me for getting it together (although never agreed on the meat thing) It just sucks that the gain is noticeable, but Im glad hes being honest.

I need a kick in the butt sometimes.

I always wondered why pork wasnt included in the list. I guess back then Stillman didnt know it was the other white meat. I've eaten it all along and still lost. (sorry my response is coming late- hope you diodnt throw em out!!)

I only indulge if I have an 8 hour work-study session and I didn't get adequate coffee in before my 8 am class. I loooovvvee the taste, but most people I know hate it.

So although it'll be about 5 more days until I weigh myself again, I wake up feeling thinner and thinner each day. My pee sticks are coming up pink', my ribs are beginning to peak out from under their fat coating, and I'm a happy camper.

Although this is not a good habit to have (issues with possible salmonella and all) I have been enjoying a bowl of raw meringue made with a few drops of liquid sucralose and a tsp or two of whatever flavor I'm feelin' at the time. It has been keeping me (a sweet fanatic) sane during this whole process *AND* it is extremely filling (only using 2 egg whites).

thanks for the info on Rockstar! I judge the can by its cover and I would happily walk the streets sipping from that can!

I love the feel of ribs! i lost mine.. but at least I know how to find them again.

So, the meringue is just whipped egg whites, sweetner and flavoring, like davincis? I wonder if crystal light would work in it.....
