With all due respect, everyone, it was interesting that Johnny Bowden, in his 2010 book Living Low Carb, which describes and rates dozens of low carb plans, gives Stillman a zero rating. There are so many better plans, that is a great book. You can find something that suits you better maybe?
You recall Atkins says, for the most difficult cases, the way to lose is to eat more FAT, not less. Most of us agree with this, even when we need to control our calories. |

For me Atkins was a bad choice. Too much fat ended up RAISING my cholesterol - although I did lose weight.
Stillman's has worked very well for me 60+ pounds lost in 6 months. My labs results are great and my doctor is very pleased. BUT - I do take vitamins every day and I am starting to add back veggies like green beans or broccoli a couple time a week. If you have questions come look at the September thread. Sharon |
