According to a news report, a certain private school in Washington was recently faced with a unique problem.

A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick, they would press their lips on the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them, and the next day the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done.

She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine all the yawns from the little princesses).

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

I am wondering why drop the sweet and low? I can definitely support your not drinking the crystal light or ANYTHING that has nutrasweet in it! People who ingest nutrasweet wind up gaining weight, and having some form of brain damage, even if it is not immediately apparent. If you are worried about the ground beef, go grass fed only without hormones. If you are going to eat ground beef, make sure that it is fresh and clean (of antibotics hormones, etc) The hormones can make you fat, like they did the cow! Really proven! And thanks for the Kudos on my first month run, it felt good! Better than carbs!!!
Thanks for the info! I have constant sinus problems especially when Im on carbs. Since Ive been back on meat for a week, I was hoping the allergies would come to a halt. Perhaps I havent given it enough time. Im not too particular about where my meat comes from, I just look for the best deal. haha.....i didnt make it through the day without the AS, hence, Im still stuffy....Not even sure if its s&l Im allergic too, just trying to figure it all out. THANKS!

My sense of smell has greatly improved since starting Stillmans. I would say 3/4 of the time I couldn't smell anything...I could hold a bottle of vinegar under my nose and not smell at all.

Now, I feel like I have super human powers! I walk down the grocery isles and I can SMELL the sugar...yesterday my son ordered spaghetti and when he got it, I could smell the tomato sauce so strong...i couldn't believe it!!

I also am smelling the children at school like never before...that's not necessarily a good thing! haha...but I am so thankful to be able to smell the good stuff!

already cleaned the pool and watered all the plants! went to Bjs and got 18 lbs of ground beef, and 9 lbs of ground turkey. picked up some beef loin tips too (note: fatty) I am set for a while!! Its sooooo nice to have some time all by myself....its been at least 2 months!!! woohoo! but its sooooooo quiet here in the house! missing the kids already..well, just a little..

off to work on the basement! (Im going to stop the insanity now because I have the makings of a #1 hoarder.) I still have every note that I ever received in highschool..boxes of em! I always had in the back of my mind, I would invite all my old girlfriends on a camping trip and we could read them over and then throw em in the fire. Its been over 15 years....maybe its time to finally clean up. Not to mention every peice of clothing from the 8th grade up....so sad... hubbys been bugging me for years to get rid of everything. He said if I dont do something soon, hes gonna throw it all out while Im at work..

Egg Noodles

From the recipe help section:

"I wanted to share with you a recipe I use for egg noodles for soup. My mother-in-law always made these for Passover(when we can't have any flour or leavened products.) So I am making them now.
I just made them with three dozen eggs.
Three dozen eggs beaten by hand
One tablespoon of potato starch mixed with a little cold water (It has 8 carbs but for three dozen eggs that is not bad. I didn't know if you could use xanthum.
Pinch of salt
Mix everything together.
Spray a pan with non stick spray
Put a very thin layer of egg mixture in pan (just like making crepes)
When it is set flip over for a few seconds then remove it from pan
Once I have a few stacked up I roll it like a cigar and cut very fine shreds
Keep doing this till the egg mix is gone.
They freeze beautifully.
I put these in chicken soup.
I have to hide them otherwise they are gone before the soup is ready!"

Somone else said you could use cornstarch too. 1tsp for 1 dozen eggs. Thats the way to stretch the carb if your willing to go there....

Has anyone ever eaten on plan at Olive Garden? I think I'm going there tonight...I was thinking about getting the salmon...I know it's fat...but I'm ok with good fat.

I haven't had a salad or veggies in over a week...and I've lost 3 pounds...I'm not sure if I want to get a salad or any veggies...I don't want to break my losing streak...cause when I get stuck it takes a week or so to start losing again...

So maybe just a big hunka fish.

I hope IM's doing fine...I'm not used to not hearing from her!

Becky123: Stick with the fish selection and make sure that they don't add anything else on your plate, unless others want to eat it. They have great fresh Iced Tea (Regular) and will keep your glass filled up.. my experience. They might add sugar to their salad, and I suspect they do, so maybe sans the salad, and just have a good piece of fish! You will be happier in the morning with yourself.

I lost at least a pound this morning! Was soooo glad that I didn't give in last night to eating extra anything!! Drinking lots of water helps with those night time cravings! I have 37 more lbs to lose!! Yeah!! Can hardly wait to get to that 155 mark!

So far today I ate 2 hardboiled eggs with mustard, sweet n low and a speck of sea salt. Yum! And 2 Hebrew National reduced fat Hot Dogs with mustard, yummmmm!

My next yummy meal.... thinking about it! Most likely either another yummy deviled egg, or a turkey pattie with mustard... either way I am going to enjoy it! Exercise consisted of doing a lot of laundry today. Later i will most likely rebound because it is overcast and gloomy outside!
