they are designed better to fit well and maintain the most comfort possible while pulling off the particular look, and the quality of the materials doesn't compare. Look at the stitching and the construction.they are works of art and craftsmanship.

I used to love Steve Madden and Rocket Dog, But the designs are just ripoffs of better designers and they are cheaply made. A forty dollar pair of Coach will last three times as long as the aforementioned so when you do the math it's even. Plus, you can sell them on the bay or craigs when you're fone and still get back some of your investment.

As a young and budget minded hottie it took awhile to wrap my head around the concept but it is true.

I have Coaches, D&Bs and Pradas that with minimal care have and will last for decades. I still have my first D&B doctor's satchel that I bought at the factory store in Norwalk in 1989. She is a collectors item now and a little mink oil paste and saddle soap is all it takes to make her like new.

Al you are in a hotbed of opportunity down there. I found my first Prada at a garage sale in Ridgefield for five bux, complete with the authentic registration cards. I still have it. Get thee to a garage sale!!!!!!!!

sorry kid those are Coach......LV not real hot up here + too many knock offs.you really have to study the line to avoid ripoffs.

LV pink...........fashionista alert!!!!!!!!!

Al........these aren't really that expensive. Now, a hundred bux for Skechers......that's over the top.

A pair of Chanel boots MSRP 1750.00........now that's expensive.

I have finished scanning Chapters 6,7,and 8. It is 3 files (6 and 7 and then 8 part 1 and 8 part 2). I broke it up to keep the file size small.

I will send to everyone who asked yesterday. If there is anyone else that wants a copy you will need to send me a private message with your email.

CC - I love the heels! I am a shoe loving fiend also and heels are my favorite!!! But................I am getting closer to 40 and they have been killing my feet lately! UGH!!!

I am seriously considering buying some of those (night out) shoes I saw at Walgreens. They come in this cute little pouch and you can switch to them if you are out and about and your heels are killing you. They look kind of like ballet slippers.

okay -- so tomorrow is my weigh in day after two weeks of NOT being on the scale!!

I am scared to be honest because I have had a couple of salads when I went out Friday night and yesterday. But, I will down the water, ground beef and chicken today.

Then, after tomorrow I will be back to weighing in everyday until I see a significant change in the scales!!!

Sending you good karma for your weigh in. I am sure you will see a drop - but better yet is how your clothes are fitting.....

Obviously there was a lot of chatting yesterday!!! Everyone must be back at work today My weekends are crazy so I can't get on as often as I can during the week.

Thanks SWebb for the good luck on my weigh in. I would like to say my clothes are loser but I can't say that I have noticed that one. At least not like they were back in March/April. But, I am hoping for a great loss!!!!

If not.....I will just keep plugging along.

I am really wondering if my age and some hormonal changes are effecting my success with Stillmans or if that "Golden shot" theory applies to me. I sure hope not

I am probably older than you (I am 53) and have had great success (at least to me) on Stillman's with MINIMAL exercise. 61 pounds in 6 months.

You CAN do it

For some reason I was CRAVING a banana today. I usually have them in the house all the time and don't give them a second thought.

Yes, I did eat one. I was thinking that maybe my body was trying to tell me I needed more potassium.

It tasted ok - not as great as I thought given the craving I had for it.....

I have upped my water the last couple of days trying to flush the salty foods out of my system so maybe I have also flushed too much potassium as well. I do take a potassium tablet each morning but maybe those were not enough.

I am now back to my regularly scheduled programming....MEAT!

Nooo. discuss it here. Chapter by chapter. . that way those of us who are too lazy to sit down and read a whole book can skym. ..

Deep Thoughts from my journal:

If you bite it, write it.
If you drink it, ink it
pencil before utensil
Scribble if you nibble. .

(I am working on it.) . .

Remember: I've tasted it all before, it is nothing special. . It DID NOT make me happy. .it made me fat!

And. . Reality is hullucination brought on by lack of alcohol. . Oopps. .wrong journal . .

My scale was hovering between 169 and 170...hoping to see a drop in the morning...

I'm so goofy...

For a couple of months or so...I've notice in the mornings when I awake...that my armpits would be so itchy...

I thought it must be some result of my diet...maybe something to do with yeast die off??

it was getting pretty bad...

This morning it dawned on me that I changed bar soaps about the time the itching started...(This is TMI, I'm sure...but I use bar soap when I shave my armpits...and shower gel with one of those spongy things everywhere else...)

I'm hoping leaving the "Zest" alone will cure my itchiness!!!

I can't believe it took me so long to connect it to my soap!!

I guess my point in saying all of that was to...
1. Let you know I can be really weird at times... and
2. Remind myself not to assume one thing is a result of another...when it could totally be something else!

I had two hamburger patties for lunch. I haven't drank CL in months (other than with my CO shot) But I had a caffeine enhanced one this afternoon and it did me good!

I hope to be 168 in the morning...if I'm not, I may have to scale back on the patties... 4 a day may be too many!?!?

I love Dove soap! I use it for washing and shaving. You could probably use CO for shaving as well.......

It's hard for me to find heels that don't hurt my feet ESPECIALLY if I wear them without pantyhose. (I know, I know, AL...you hate them! haha)

Those night out shoes sound nice!
