AL, I've tired of tuna a bit, and eggs, and even tilapia...but I've not yet tired of STEAK!!! God's perfect food! : )

When I set my goal at 160 I was doubtful I'd get there...but if my body's willing, I may shoot for somewhere in my healthy weight suggestion for my height...I dunno. I don't think I'll be ready to call goal at 9 more pounds.

I'm scared of maintenance!!

Thank you everyone for being here and so supportive! I wish I could treat us all to steak!! (AL, you are right, Outback puts the tastiest seasoning on theirs!)

I love, love, love you all!!

I eat perfect for 4 days and then cheat for 1. .I'm really not doing myself any favors (I'm maintaining) but not losing. I peeked a while back at the South Beach Diet. . and played with it but never really gave it a fair shake. I think I am going to try it to see if works. 2 honest weeks. . that's what I'm going to give it. I'm going to follow it 100% (it will feel like cheating big time after doing Stillman's for so long). . but I really, really like the concept. . I will be doing induction so no "real" carbs. .just adding veggies, nuts, Salads (drool, drool). . I just think giving myself permission to enjoy some of these foods again will jump start my enthusiasm. .
Anyway, after that long rambling introduction, my real question is? Can I stay here, please . Peeps? You are such an inspiration that I really feel like I can't do this without you. You know we promised to see each other to goal, right? I vow not to list any of my menus and I vow to check in regularly. I plan to weigh daily and record my meals and progress in my dusty journal. . I would definately be lost without all of you. . .
if you leave us I will hunt you down and beat you with lingiune

P.S I also have another incentive to lose the weight by December. I made a deal with my boyfriend...that if I lose 30 lbs by the time he gets back in December....he'll not only take me to Aruba, but pay for the trip too...and I'm hoping my rockin body will convince him to give me THE RING for my 25th birthday in December too lol (Not that that truly MATTERS, but I'd still like to look good for him too!!)
o god ur too young..........get the ring and then string him along for a decade or two........

happy Sunday peepses

You've been good, but its time to be great!!! I suggest you post your menus every day and night so we can make sure no BLTs are goin on. Start right now! and get up and shake that booty! I know youre not the exercise type (like me) so we are gonna have to call it gettin up and movin around! I will match you walks, crunches, jumping jacks, and sit-ups. Whatever! Its your move. (and IM2 will match me..matching you..)
Silly question....no BLT's means??? lol

Menu today so far!
B: Tuna, Lox & Cream cheese rolls ups (leftovers from last night)
L: Sliced Turkey
D: TBD! No clue..

So far drank 40 oz water

I cleaned all day! Does that count as moving and groovin ? haha

I need to start moving again. I have a gym membership...thats collecting dust. It's only $10/month so when I go 1-2 x/month I don't feel bad for going so little because it's so inexpensive...you know? But since it's starting to get cooler out I think I can start doing nightly walks around the block a few times...I have an AWESOME Jillian Michaels video that kicks my butt everytime I do it. ( I recommend it!! I'll find the name shortly) That too is collecting dust!!

I have a 25 year old daughter (and a 24 year old). The 25 yr old has been engaged for almost 2 years. She doesn't seem to be in a hurry to actually get married - although she does love her Fiancee' (and we do too). She has an idea of how she wants her wedding to be and they are saving up the money to make it happen.

That's exactly how I feel.

My boyfriend is in medical school in the caribbean until December, then he goes to Miami in January for 4 months so he really doesn't have the frame of mind to really think about an actual wedding, but I think an engagement works for now...
We've been together for 3.5 years, lived together for 2 and have been apart for over a year now (meaning he's in the Caribbean and I'm in NY!)

OK kids, after begging on the boards with no reply I figgered out how to multi quote.

As you are reading posts and find ones you want to reply to, click the multi quote button in the box of that post.
Wait for it to glow orange.
You can click as many as you want, even going to the next page and the next, clicking the button as you go.

when you are finished selecting, click the post reply at the left on the bottom of the page, NOT the post quick reply button.

You will then be brought to a reply to thread box that will have all the quotes in it. It will look something like this:
__________________________________________________ _________-

Definitely not my style (the leopard ones) The Flower print with the cork heel are very cute, as are the leopard print pumps (without the lace up)

O my goodness! Not only do you have a great incentive.. you'll look wonderful when you reap the rewards. . let's do it. .

This coming from a NYC girl...incredible...Just wait til you lose a bit more weight, then you shall be shameless like me......

I was in Wally world 2 weeks ago, and not one to be caught in public wearing flip flops (unless designer) or dirty sweatpants like some do...a gaggle of young lads walked by me and I heard 'Ho ho ho' when they got by me.

I smiled to myself in my Coach platform slides and thought; "Yep, and a damned well paid one, too."

Coach Tullah lace up bootie, they came in the Ocelot print and plain brown.

Since I have a figure more worth showing than hiding, I've been ditching neutrals and dowdy hide me stuff.

Life is too short not to feel good and wear scary shoes that make you feel great.
