Today was my weigh in for the "Pound for Pound" Challenge. I have lost 61 pounds That means 61 pounds of food will be donated to my local Food Bank!!

I am going to throw this question out there and hope for some help....

My DH and I need to get new insurance. Our current insurer is costing us $1650 a month with a $6200 deductible. We just cannot afford the monthly premiums any longer

We are both self employed.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

ugh, don't go there. I'm still sifting through plans.

Start with your state website's insurance information. It will tell you who the authorized providers are in your state; despite all the crap on the net there are usually only two or three who actually insure in your state.

We just got scammed in the ATA ripoff in TN. The attorney eneral shut them down. Fortunately they only took us for about eight hundred, and they actually did pay claims that we had.

Some states like New York offer insurance plans for small businesses. The income guidelins are pretty strict but you may qualify.

Hello friends!

I haven't checked in since Monday morning because it's been a busy, busy week!!

I still haven't weighed since last Tuesday and don't plan on getting on the scale until next Tuesday! That is quite possibly the longest I have gone without weighing since being on Stillmans. I am so hoping for a loss!

becky - girl you are smoking!!!!! 39 pounds in 3 months!!!!! AMAZING! I bet it will be 40 by tomorow!

Just finished my sausage/hamburger mixture and put the extras in containers for tonight and tomorrow.

I have also been eating at least 2 Coconut Oil cubes each day. I am hoping they add to my quick loss for Tuesday!

TOM is over so I am praying I am on a downward spiral with the weight!

The weekend is finally here!!! So exciting! Another Jewish Holiday tonight...(I don't even like Jewish cooking!) We're having brisket tonight...which would have been fine except my Grandma cooked it in mushroom sauce...ew. So I have no clue what I will be eating. Steak perhaps. Tomorrow I have to technically fast all day until dinner time, but I think I'll sneak in some turkey and eggs!! Don't want to starve myself ...

Webb. . I have a small business and we offer health insurance to our employees (one of our biggest expenses for sure. . ). . We offer BCBS.. I heard they also offer an indiviual policy that is reasaonable.. (Mind you. . reasonable is in the eye of the "beer holder"..hahaha) I'm working my job purely for the benefits. . not making much money but the benefits are too good to give up. . It is a sad state this economy is in!

Good Morning Peeps! So great to have you back swebb!!!

Went to Outback and had a 22oz prime rib. It was awesome! I know Ive said this before, but I could eat it everyday. Gotta actually try to make my own at home. They just have this way of getting the outside all salty and crunchy. Yep I ate the fat too. Didnt weigh yet. Still hoping for 119 on Monday!!
