Ok. .I didn't go out and do anything. .stayed inside and colored my hair. . Yippeee. . Gray gone. . I look rocking now. . my perm is finally getting "big" its just on the verge of really needing a haircut but I'm going to ride it out as long as I can. Just thought I'd take a quick break from all my beautification and lunch contemplation to check in. I love staying honest to you guys. .

By the way Al. .could never do Corned beef right from the can. .too much "lard" on it. . hafta burn it all off. . crispy is the only way to go. . I was even temped to try Spam one night when I didn't have any other meat in the house. . Still wondering who's idea it was to buy that stuff. . My mom used to make us mac and cheese with spam in it. . Talk about a carb fest. . I always begged for just plain ole mac n. cheese but she was having non of it. .Gotta have your protein. . Protein? Just what the heck kinda protein is Spam made of? OK. side track over. . I think I'll go cook the kids mac n cheese and spam for lunch~!~ They are so lucky I'm a nice mom. .

Lisa probably had her surgery by now....Im sure she'll check in with us sooner or later. I hope.

Dustin just needs to check in and stick with us once and for all.

Dustin, we know how tough it can be sticking to Stillmans, especially when its for the second shot. You did so well the first time. A true champion! We really want you back so you can get those few extra pounds off for good. Come on man!!!! We need you!

I hope I dont jinx anyone thats missing from here but I sure hope they are on a plan. Its all too easy to stay away from this board and fall right back into the carb trap. You girls were always right..When you didnt see me for a few days, I was probably cheating in one way or another. Especially cheating myself from not having the love and support of my buds.....

For anyone out there thinking about cheating...try try try real hard not to do it. Nothing compares to the amazing feeling you will have after a few weeks of eating meat. You will continue to lose and get to goal and not have all of the crazy out of control eating habits that carbs make us have. Dont even take one bite. You dont want to remember what that stuff tastes like because its a powerful awful drug that will keep you hostage and keep you coming back for more. Zero carb = control, health (for some), and happiness. I was a miserable overweight unhappy carb eater and now I am a clearheaded happy meat eater whos on the right track to get to goal. I hope the same for all of you!

and for anyone out there struggling with this diet and not posting, please start now. It makes all the difference in the world.

and just one more teeny tiny thing....

I may seem like I know what Im doing here but I dont. Im very good at dieting but even better at not. Im working hard to get to goal and my big problems come once I get there. I have no idea about portion control and no control over eating the right things. I'd like to say I'll do better this time when I get there, but Im not really sure how I'll do.

So, I am gonna need some peeps to eat with and maintain with so lets get there together! I'd love to follow along with someones menus when the time comes, and even match small exercising challenges. I like the way CC eats, so maybe she can help too. (ive never had greek yogurt-mmmm)

Im not feeling down about this in any way. I know it will all work out. Just typing out loud which is what this thread was meant for!!!!

I have done like nothing today... Ive sent about 5 "mark the spot" reports to AT&T because the service stinks. Sent it at my desk... It told me it will be sent when service is available. Sent it outside in the hallway holding my phone to the window..it said we'll send it some other time.. Tried to send one outside and it couldnt even locate my location on the map! Argh.... and I have this new cool netflix app that would let me watch my movies instantly- IF I HAD SERVICE!!! I am sooooo bummed about all the $$$ I have wasted on this stupid phone for almost 2 years.....luckily my contract is almost up..

Now if Gwn took her phone with her, we would be able to track her location and that would have been really neat. too bad I didnt think of it before she left.

cell service bashing and rambling over...

Hey Al. .Missed you again. . you must be off working. .Speaking of beef, . I think I'm gonna go in the deep freeze and see if I can rustle some up. That sounds good. .

I did have hickory flavored Tuna for lunch. . I never checked but those flavored packets are about double the little ones. . no wonder they cost more. Duh! Sometimes I can be a little slow. . It was good.. haven't had it in awhile so it was like a treat. . I think I should thaw some Taliapia too before we can't grill any longer. .

I guess we have to always stay on top of our eating...and not allow too much weight to be gained. I'm hoping I can do that...and be moderate one day. For now, I'm loving meat, meat and more meat!

I don't trust myself with carbs...and I'm a little nervous about adding any back...but I guess I'll need to one day...

i'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I have kept up with some sort of log...every day I lose a pound I note it...almost all of my pounds have come off one at a time...I do not use the scale with the .10 numbers...I have a Tanita but it's not very reliable...I can step on it and get 4 different weights...My regular scale is more consistent. Sometimes after a loss I may show a gain the day after that...but I don't record it unless I've cheated...and I haven't really cheated since I started...other than the salad or veggie here and there...

I keep threatening to sprinkle CO all over my 14 year old's food and supress his appetite!! Maybe you could try that! haha

Congrats Becky123 no those great pics! Sorry I haven't signed in in the last few days. Mom is recouperating from surgery and my sis and I are taking care of her. I have been 100% on track, no cheating. Swam in Moms pool and have been taking walks. Today hasn't incorporated exercise yet, was up all night last night with Mom. But all water has been handled and no cheating! I think I lost 2 pounds yesterday, but will let you know when I get back home to my regular scale.
Kitty, Wow, what a cool outfit to look forward to!! : )

THank you Anything! That is great that you have stayed on track while taking care of your mom. Sometimes things like that would make me eat out of stress...but you took the high road! I hope your mother quickly recovers from her surgery!

Okay, made me some CO bark in the ice trays today. Got CO at the store for buy 1 get 1 1/2 off

It went down much easier and stayed down....no burping or anything

MMMMMM my supper was super duper!!! I had hamburger meat cooked with 1/2 lb of HOT sausage (my sausage had no carbs)! It was great and I have a small bowl left over for tomorrow sometime. That means I ate a pound of meat tonight!!!!!

So not so bad, right????

Today I had:

2 boiled eggs (1 w/yolk 1 w/0)
1/2 cup steak and chicken chopped up
hamburger/sausage mix
1 1/2 CO cubes from the freezer

Trying real hard to kill my killer appetite!
