Good morning!

Quick question for the Stillman experts. Ok, 2 questions.

1. Would using a zero-carb, no-fat protein powder be considered acceptable for stillmans? (using water only to mix it)

2. Do any of you put anythng at all in your coffee, or do we all just drink it black? I have used that Fat-free creamer in my WW days, and I wondered if just a smidge of that would be acceptable?

I just had such a yummy breakfast....who knew I was such a chef! I made an omlette! 3 egg whites...and a piece of cheese..(only 1 carb) I can't eat eggs without that cheese!....I cooked it in CO and it was delish.
Time to be productive

Good Morning
Weight was the same today. Didn't go out for drinks last night after all. Too sleepy Just had my two hard boiled eggs. Lunch will be chicken and dinner will be two burgers. Business as usual

Al, did you fall off the wagon with those chips and salsa?? We wanna hear all about the concert, so check in!

Kiley, I put half a packet of Splenda and 1/2 teaspoon of half and half, in my coffee, every morning. I've not had a problem losing weight. I can't give you any advice on the protein powder though.

So those with kids, when do they go back to school??? Always a sign that the summer is wrapping up when the kids go off to school

I put 2 tsp of heavy whipping cream in my coffee each morning...I may lose faster without it, but I really like it!

We sure are quiet lately. I'm not used to this! What gives? Check in Peeps. . time to be accountable. I've been good today but boy O boy did I eat. . 2 packets of tuna/mustard and boiled egg for breakfast. . grilled pork and hotsauce for a snack .another egg 2 hours later. grilled chicken.. . came home to two grilled burger patties .. another piece of pork and two pepperoni pieces picked off the kids pizza! ugg. . can't figure out why I'm hungry today. . could that mean metabolism is kicking in? I hope so but won't hold my breath!!!

my gripe for the day ..

Why are doctors so slow...my appointment was in July. . I had to go back for an ultra sound on Tuesday (at the Doc's office, mind you . they couldn't possibily do it the same day as my appointment ??). .so here it is Friday and I still haven't heard anything . .how long could it possibly take to look at a few pics? Now they'll probably give me the BS that I have to come back in to talk about results.. Sheessshh. . It just irritates me that they make you wait for everything. .I know they are busy. . I understand emergencies but they have 3 doctors in that office who do nothing but office visits..you think one of them could take a few minutes and give me my results, already. .

OK. . I'm over it now. . thank you for allowing me to vent. .

I know they are busy .and I know they save lives and they do wonderful things. . but perhaps they can have their office staff make some phone calls.. because its over the weekend .now Im thinking bad thoughts. IDK.. I'm not one to judge people and what they do but I hate this waiting game!

What I hate is after you wait in the lobby for a while...then you go into the exam room and wait MORE!! I had to sit there in a pink paper robe for over AN HOUR this past week...the whole time being a little anxious...and wanting to get that pap smear over with!

That's just inconsiderate...IMPO.

yep. .did the same thing to me. .I overhead them say the Doc wasn't even in the office yet and here I was sitting with my lovely white paper sheet!

The only downfall to this diet is I think I forgot how to cook. .seriously. .I've been feeling real guilty lately. I was always whipping something new up and now my kids get grilled chicken. .grilled burger. .grilled fish.. .

OK. .time to get down and get serious. . lets kick it up a notch. .

Don't give up
drink a lot of water
eat breakfast and never get hungry. (have mini snacks every 2 hours if needed)
measure yourself in inches , too. . listen to your body and "feel" your clothes
Time will breaks stalls - be patient
Take your Vitamins
dont' forget to move!

Try to maintain control
If you've slipped up badly, don't tell yourself there's no use trying. .this is a new day
Adjust your aims to realities.
Give yourself a cushion
Learn from your experience
Don't EVER give up!
Be Creative
Join LCF
keep cooked meat on hand at all times
Keep it simple
Eat to Live
Plan to Plan
Keep a journal
remove temptation from the house
make LC your new "weigh of life". . .
and don't allow yourself to get too hungry. . .

OK . that's all I have for today. . just sharing some reasons/reminders and advice. .Let's do this thing!

Great way to start Saturday IM!! Thanks for all of your great tips.

I've still stuck at 183...but that's ok...

Yesterday I ate some sunflower seeds...they were just the salty treat I was in the mood for...but I'm throwing the rest of the bag away because I don't like that out of control feeling wanting to sneak back in. (they were the unshelled kind...I can put away a lot of those in a short time)

Ok...that was my confession! Back to meat today!

I'll be glad when TOM is done...it seems like my whole body freaks out...pain in everywhere from my head, my gums, my back, my legs...gee whiz it does a number on a girl!

Yep, I have have a little self talk with myself and say things like,

"Becky, you've STILL lost 26 pounds"
"Becky, you STILL are looking better in your clothes."
"Becky, you are not being controlled by your cravings."
"Becky, you are not gaining!"

I have to remind myself or I might find myself thinking, "What's the use?"

Hi Peeps!! Quick check in because I'm at work and Saturdays are always busy... well, I hope it's extra busy, gotta make that money while I still can!! I am still at sig. I have a confession too, I ate about 10 peanuts last night. Happy there's no gain, I'll take sig weight Yesterday was my 6 month anniversary. Down 78.2lbs in 6 months!! It's really slowed over the last month but I am ecstatic with my results!! I know my trip is going to set me back but I promise when I get back, I am back on track... In fact... You know how this forum can be so easy to avoid when you're being bad!?!? :blush: Well, IM2, if I give you my private email address, I was wondering if maybe you could email me, if you don't see me back on this forum by october 21st? I'll be back on the 15th but will give myself a few days to settle in. You're the only one who hasn't disappeared on me in the last 6 months so I have faith you'll still be here when I get back in October! I just know myself and after 6 weeks of eating whatever, that's exactly the type of situation that sends me running from here, coming back 2 years later, 80lbs heavier! I really need to do it this time, get to goal! you all. Have a great Stillman's day!

Definately. . I'm hoping by the time you get back you'll see a lot less of me. ..lol. . I just know that I have to keep myself on this forum just to be accountable. Every time I think about giving up. .I see how far everyone else has come and it renews my spirit. . .OK. .confession. . something must be in the air. . I ate peanuts last night, too. . weigh more than 10 but that is just way too funny! Hubby's low carb diet consists of daily nuts. peanuts, cashews. . walnuts. . it's difficult to avoid them when I smell them on his breath! He's doing OK and figures if he doesn't gain. .he's ahead of the game, too. . Life! You just have to live it - sheesssh. .

I'm still amazed that you have lost so much in a relatively short time. You've been so good so you definately deserve it. I am sure you will make better choices on your trip just from the experience you've gained on your journey. You've done an amazing job and should be very proud. I'm going to be checking daily when you get back to see how your trip went. Good or bad. . you better log in and let us all know how you did . .what you did. . who you met. . What an adventure! You are very brave. . I can't even go away for the weekend by myself. . MMm. got me thinking. . perhaps I should try it sometime!
