Mim! I have to thank you for the new challenge. . . do you know how liberating it was this morning not to have to face that scale .. How it did not dictate my mood for the day and how it made me think. . I have a month to do this? I think this will be a good thing for me and it will force me to pay attention to my body more. I will guage my success on how I feel and how my clothes feel rather than some stupid number I can't seem to control, anyway! I'm psched and excited, too. . hoping that I will be able to break my stupid stall once and for all.. I am going to try my darndest not to cheat. . After tonight! I'm going to have a couple of drinks as I've had a killer migraine. .the kinds where you can't see correctly . so I think I need alcohol to break it. . I've tried coffee. . excedrin migraine and both just keep delaying it. my eyes are playing games again so I know the pain will hit I wonder what could be triggering this one? It really puts a damper on my day..

Becky: I prefer the packets, too (our dollar store carries them, when I'm lucky) but I just couldn't pass up the deal, today! Hubby will eat them either way. . I like my tuna dry. .dry. .dry. .

It helps to have others to do the no scale for a month! I do know how liberating it is not to weigh. I love seeing the numbers go down, but the first day they don't move my mood plummets, and often so does my willpower! I have been aware off and on today just how good I feel. I'm on plan and I'm not being controlled by the scale!

I have an ocular migrane today. It has come and gone. Right now it is absent!

No, sorry. I gave up on enjoying breakfast... I was like you in the beginning, had eggs and hot dogs or turkey bacon... That lasted about two weeks before I really committed. I now have 1 or 2 hard boiled eggs and some coffee for breakfast. I do miss omelets and all that good stuff though But I've really gotten so used to just eating an egg or two that it's no biggie anymore... I don't ever have to think about what I'm going to make or get up early to make anything, just make a batch of eggs, once or twice a week.

Holy cow, is it august already! Where did July go? And IM2 are you on top of that new thread?? Usually we have a name picked out by now! I know we are all so busy and some of us are struggling but we have to remember to keep checking in here, it does give us that little bit of motivation that may just keep us on the straight and narrow... Unless of course you're intentionally avoiding that path...

I had a great day. Scale was down another pound to 157.8 and work was so busy I didn't get to eat as much as I normally do. But I had my 93% lean ground beef burgers for dinner. I cannot believe I am losing and eating beef! It's been on sale this week, thankfully! Today I stopped in the Korean deli downstairs from my apartment and the girl at the register said 'omg are you losing weight' and asked me what I was doing and said "your face is so skinny now". It was extra cute because she had broken english and when I said low carb she said "oh that's it". When I did low carb years ago I would often get a lot of bad looks but not once have I gotten a bad look telling people that. Some people even know that I don't eat any veggies and still seem pretty open-minded about it... I think because they've seen firsthand, the results.

Okay guys... Let's get focused for August! Make a commitment and stick with it!! Mine is going to be to lose 10lbs from stats so I would like to be 147.

See you all tomorrow... here's hoping the whoosh fairy pays you all a little visit!

Yea that's a plus...not worrying about what to make! Good thing I enjoy eggs (hopefully I won't get sick of them)

I appreciate the feedback.

I have 18 days to shed a decent amount of weight...FINGERS CROSSED I CAN DO IT!!

Any tips I should be paying special focus on? (Been drinking LOTS of water, but maybe not enough some days...)

Going to give up the cheese *sigh* and just meat...so...we shall see =D

Gorton's Tilapia with the original seasonings is my least favorite so far...the seasoning "stays" with me after I've finished eating..."redo"

In all fairness.. I've only tried the lemon pepper and the grilled salmon. .I love them both! The grilled salmon does have a little "redo" to it. . but I don't think it is any more than regular ole tuna and eggs..

wow.. I guess I didn't realize July is almost over already. . OK.. I guess I did but didn't want to admit it.. What are we thinking as far as names go? We need to come up with something ASAP - a new beginning for many of us! someone suggest something wonderful..

I laughed, I cried and I shared :blush:
I heard from our good buddy, Dustin!
I tried CO for the first time
I took my vitamins regularly
I went to church
I spent time with an old friend and we laughed just like we used to
