Oh, girl, you know it! ever since I found Stillman's I have found

that self control didn't make me fat, the conspiracy of the food industry and huge amounts of misinformation did

that I have control of my size whenever I want it

you are never too old to be too rich or too thin

that when everything else fails, there is still hope

Just started diet Monday
Just began the QWL diet Monday...I've been up and down with weight loss for a long time. I have about 40 lbs to lose and I'm at a plateau right now.

Starting Weight: 153.5

Weight today: 150.8

Weight Goal: Between 105-110.

This is a sample of what I've been eating...Not sure if I'm doing it right though!!

Breakfast: 1 egg white, 1 whole egg, slice of fat free cheese (scrambled)
tried 2 slices of turkey bacon yesterday

Lunch: Turkey Rolls ups or 2 Jenni-O turkey hot dogs

Dinner: Turkey burger, broiled chicken

Snacks: Low fat part skim cheese stick (is this acceptable?)

Also is the fat free cheese okay?

I tried cottage cheese and the texture just kills me lol.

Thanks!!

Hi Squishy! So glad you found us! We just love new meat!!! I think your menu is OK but you may want to watch the processed meat (hotdogs) If it is working for you I think you are OK right now. .but if you find you are not losing, you may want to taper off. .. The cheese thing has been debateable. . The Doc said no cheese but that was pre low fat and fat free.. I think, for the most part, you have to find a balance and see what works for you.. there are those of us who can't sway from the program at all.. but others can consume questionable items and still be successful. You will find what works for you and you will be a loser in no time!! Welcome to the wonderful world of meat!

I'm using emerald laboratories. is anyone else? it says virgin oil.. I keep wondering if I'm not using the right stuff.. I haven't felt anything. .no ill effects (thank goodness) .. not sure if I have more energy or not. .

Tomorrow is Thursday Guys/Gals - how was your week so far? Focus on the positive and remind yourself. .this is the new lifestyle. You can't change life long habits overnight so don't beat yourself up if you stumbled on some road blocks. (I'm talking to you, too. .Dustin) We've all been there and we've all done there. . Now is the time for change and I know you can do it. .

Let's post the postive things we accomplished this week! For me. . well. . . . I logged into LCF when I was having a rough time. . I planned my meals and I put everything in my journal. .good and bad! So. .I planned and that was an obstacle for me. . .My Thursday plan is no BLT's! I've been letting them get the better of me lately which leads to a taste. .which leads to a bigger bite. which leads to the whole dang thing! No more. . Out darn. .BLT's . .I do not love you!

I woke up feeling like Christmas is coming. It is silly, I know but I'm very excited to weight until Sept. 2 to weigh. I keep wondering how much I will lose and how exciting it will be to see a big drop in the numbers! I looked at the scale this morning and thought if I stepped on it that would be like peeking at presents. The thrill will be ruined for my big weigh in!

I'm about to have eggs, then steak for lunch and haven't gotten as far as dinner yet, but I have plenty of on plan food to pick from!

Just checking in to say hello! I haven't abandoned ship...just been lurking!

Well, I have moved into strict mode for a while...so tired of gaining and losing that 1 lb.!!! TOM comes tomorrow (I think) and hopefully I will shed some of this water gain.

My goal is to really down the water. It's been too long since I have seen the numbers on my stats and I am ready to get things in order!

Tonight's supper.....

Pork roast - YUMMY! It's been cooking all day!

Now I just gotta resist the salad!

Hello all, today is my first day on the stillman's diet. So far so good. I have already downed 1 1/2 liters of water. and not really having to many cravings. I really enjoy reading everyone's post. It makes you feel like your not alone with this diet. Can someone please tell me approx. how much weight you should lose if you stick to the diet?

Thank the DBF for that...I was an 80 year old cynic in a 19 year old body when we met. He told me once, "you had better lighten up, girl; no one gets out alive."
He taught me humor. And it has changed my life.

I will toast to your thinness tonight...vodka tonics/mojitos-CHEERS!

Tay, whatcha been eatin? Did you get in ketosis? It's gotta be water.

Remember all, when the fat cells are empty they suck up water to try and survive before they drain and go away, hence the skin full of marbles feeling after loss........

I can't wait to lose my marbles!

"Sleep disorder may signal dementia, Parkinson's disease up to 50 years
early," (Eurekalert [American Association for the Advancement of Science], July
28, 2010).
Sleep disorder may signal dementia, Parkinson's disease up to 50 years early

Men Are Just Happier People
(ignorance is bliss...)

NICKNAMES

· If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.

· If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Pinhead and Crap for Brains.

EATING OUT

· When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.

· When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

MONEY

· A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.

· A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.

BATHROOMS

· A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.

· The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

ARGUMENTS

· A woman has the last word in any argument.

· Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

FUTURE

· A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.

· A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

SUCCESS

· A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.

· A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

MARRIAGE

· A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.

· A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does.

DRESSING UP

· A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the trash, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.

· A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

NATURAL

· Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.

· Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

OFFSPRING

· Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.

· A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing!

Tay: stick with it. .it will work! I've been at a stand still forever but I keep reminding myself that it is better than the alternative. For me. .I also have thyroid issues.. started meds and Doc said it could take some time for them to level out. . Well.. lets just say. .I don't see too much leveling..O well.. I'm in it for the long haul and think the LC life is for me anyway. I love not having to count calories or points and not having to measure every single thing that goes into my yap. .

Hey Mim. you have a lot of will power. . If I was doing great. . I'd be on the scale every minute. I can honestly say, I haven't been on mine much lately either. . I just feel so darn bloated that I'm afraid the numbers will put me over the top. . This is the worst case of PMS bloat I've experienced in a long time.. .I skipped my CO this morning.. I'm teetering with it. haven't seen the benefits yet.. I'm so impatient!

desera! Welcome. . so glad to have you! Everyone is different and have had varying amounts of weight loss but I can say that anyone who is faithful has had great luck.. then, there are those of us who play with it a bit much.. just remember, any little carb can swing the pendulum .. especially starting out, you want to get the cravings under control and concentrate only on meat!

Msgirl!!! I'm so glad to see you on here! I couldn't talk earlier...I SO MUCH wanted to talk Stillman's and CO with you! haha

My scales showed a 2 pound increase this morning...but I don't care...I know it's not real because I haven't strayed. I'm blaming it on ovulation...that always seems to make me bloated...dang hormones...haha

I still feel great on Stillmans'...I'm still so happy to not have a bottomless pit appetite...

AND I noticed my butt ain't stickin' out as for as it used to!

For lunch I had tuna w/a little bit of sunflower seeds and olive oil mayo
Not sure what we are having for supper...
