Good morning! I've eaten my eggs and am drinking coffee before I get going. I'm going to wander to the office today! I'm tired of rushing around! I have my turkey in the crock pot and will have that for lunch and steak for dinner. The turkey will last probably two days. I think after lunch I'll go buy cruise clothes! I just know Al will strike gold!

I've upped my stats - I gained 7 pounds. But it will come off fast and I just really needed the break. My head was not connected properly! I am feeling strong now and dedicated to getting the weight off! I am not going to weigh until September 1st. I've never done it this way before and I'm looking forward to the mega loss I'll see when I finally weigh!

I hope you guys work it out and stop feeling sick!
Hi! I've heard lots of good things about CO. I haven't tried it though, its a little too pricey here for me to not like it. But good for you for trying it out.

My headache is gone now. I was taking Ibuprofen and it wasn't helping either. But glad its gone.

Hi everyone!

I will get my paycheck today and planning a shopping spree at the grocery store to stock up on eggs, chicken and beef. I will clean out the crockpots and be prepared this time. I think my falling point is that I was not completely prepared at home. When I was really following the plan, I was completely prepared.... all food were ready and cooked in advanced or I was using the crockpots to cook turkey while I was at work so I will always have something ready,

I had a plan and this time, I did not really have a plan. I think the important thing is to come up with a plan during my weak periods when I'm more easily tempted. At work it is easier to follow, but when I'm at home, the temptation is much stronger!

Hi! Nice to meet you Dustin! I've learned that too! The more prepared you are, the more success you have.

Now get back on this wagon and no more falling off!!!

Hey Y'all! (I'm a Mississippi girl...)

I woke up to another pound gone this morning...that was a wonderful surprise...I didn't expect that...but that sure made me day!

Yesterday riding around with DH we were talking about the weight loss....and he said something like, "you're really not eating anything you enjoy" and I told him that right now I'm just eating to be nourished...and I tried to explain how I don't want those cravings to come back...and he tried to understand, but I know he couldn't.

I don't know how long this mode will last...I hope I can remember, when the cravings come, or something in life throws me a loop, I hope I can remember how good itfeels to be in control...how good it feels to feel lighter and healthier...

I know me...and I know my history...that's why I can't say, "I'm finally fixed"...I've lost and gained too many times and I"ve watched others do the same...and I think of the thousands of people who are on LCF...and the millions of people who struggle with food issues...and I wonder what it is about food that is such a struggle.

But right now in this moment...I'm so proud of myself...and I'm starting to feel alive. I haven't weighed this little since January 09. I don't think it would have been possible without this Stillman's section of LCF. I've never participated in a online group quite this way...and it has made all the difference! I would love to meet each one of you!

I'll probably have tuna for lunch and tilapia for dinner -- along with my CO two times.

Much love to you all!

Hi tay65!
I'm glad your headache is gone...when I first started I had that too...it was awful! That made me think what in the world is in those carbs to do that to my body? I read the book Sugar Shock last year and I need to reread it...it's amazing all of the bad things sugar does...I do wonder why it has to taste so good and be so addicting!

Your stats are very impressive! Have you already shared on this thread how you lost your weight? I don't mean to make you repeat yourself, but I love to hear how people have done that.
I was reading the meat/egg thread and I noticed you posted there...this is much like that I suppose.
You are doing great!

I had to run to the store to buy some carbs for lunch. Honest! My DD has a friend over for lunch and I'm serving turkey, but wanted some sides for "show". Anyway, I am walking through the store and get a craving for............wait for it.............no, not evil carbs...............I got a craving for sausage! Weird as I hardly ever eat sausage! I didn't buy any but I did buy a london broil that I'm going to fix on the grill. I have a great dry rub that I made to season it with. I decided that it was the powerful flavor of sausage that I want, and the dry rub on the london broil will do the trick. I'm going to throw the london broil on the grill and it will be finished by the time I serve the others their lunch. I'll eat in my study! I'm not sharing!

I wanted to see what the effects would be so I have an idea of how I will handle my night tonight (casino). Sounds like an excuse but my research paid off. I sipped it slow for about an hour (well maybe a half hour - Im a quick drinker) I immediately felt sleepy and stuffy. Now this is the kinda thing that can ruin my night! Went to bed at 9PM!!! (But this is kinda normal for me anyway)

Looks like I'm gonna have to rethink my plans for tonight, and possible stick with espressos!

a-choo! darn tequila...why oh why do I have to be allergic!?!?
Or espresso martinis! Mmmmm Just don't let them put any bailey's in it and it should be pretty low carb! *drool*

booze always makes me sleepy, at first. The trick is to drink your way through it and then you're good to go... Usually the 3rd one does the trick. Or just do what I tend to do, drink a sugar free red bull right before you start drinking Oh wait, I am no one to give advice, ha!

Thanks IM2 I just wish I could get back on the straight and narrow... I figure I only have about 2-3 more weeks to lose weight before I have to start changing things up a bit... I can't imagine leaving for Europe, still on Stillman's and then eating whatever there... That could be a bad situation!! My stomach needs time to adjust to fats and carbs. IDK. But I promise to eat a nutella and banana crepe, in Paris, for all of you

Well said! Like words out of my own mouth. There's nothing like the control you get with Stillman's... Sometimes when we let the carbs get the best of us, it is so hard to remember how good it feels to be on Stillman's... It's really a wonderful thing though and it works! <3 Stillman's. Congrats on the loss and KUTGW!!

This is a fly-by post! Sorry I've been so MIA. I will be available again starting next Wednesday. You know how life can get sometimes, right? Crazy fun. But crazy, still!

Been trying to stay on plan as best I can in the midst of buzzing around the countryside these past few days.

Now I've gotta pack TODAY 'cos we're heading to the reunion tomorrow. Wish I would have had more downward whooshes, but I really have not been faithful enough to Mr. Stillman on a daily basis so I'm not insane enough to expect any better. At least I'm maintaining. I go up a pound or two and then back down.

That's good enough until I can dedicate myself to rockin' it again! I'm gonna try and go back and read up on how everyone is doing a little later today.

Hugs, All!!

Hey Becky. .

I was doing "research" on another site and some of the peeps were talking about the fish oil and flax oil and how it re'visits later in the day (burps) and someone suggested that you pop them in the freezer! I did and can say so far this week. .no more revisits! I love it because I know how important the oils are. .

Try it. .you may like it!

D, you pressed pause. That's it. You won't walk away, it's a time out. BTW Advil was the only thing that worked for my keto headaches. You'll be back!

I hate to tell you guys but I just got mine from netrition and I can't stop eating it.
I dip the spoon in Splenda after scooping the semi solid oil up and YUM it's like crema de coco or a Mounds bar without the chocolate.
I'm doing one teaspoon at a time because a tbsp gives me a huge hot flash about 45 mins. later-whew!

A nice big iced coffee works great....it will keep me going for three cocktails

I just ate a hard boiled egg. hat is my dinner. I'm not really hungry, which is very good! I've got a mild case of first day yuck, but not so bad, really. I think it really helps to start the first day after lunch. Technically, I have a whole day in already! Funny, but I think the hardest thing will be not to weigh. But the numbers really get to me and I'm not going to let anything trip me up!

During a visit to my doctor, I asked him, "How do you
determine whether or not an older person should be put
in an old age home?"
"Well," he said, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the person to empty
the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use
the bucket because it is bigger than the spoon or the
teacup."

"No" he said. "A normal person would pull the plug.
Do you want a bed near the window?"
